gotta admit: i only added that song for the meme

"RUN!"

The figure was catching up with us, running at an insanely high speed considering the fact that he was carrying another man and having to avoid tripping on his partner's giant cloak.

"How did he get past the ice wall?!" screamed Daiki. I made a worried expression as we sprinted away, our breath running low. I, with my poor stamina, was struggling the most. My breath was heavy and I was starting to slow down. Shouto, apparently still full of energy, or at least enough to keep running, noticed this and immediately picked me up in his arms as he continued running. As embarrassing as it was to be carried like this, I was so tired that I didn't care. Plus, if it was Shouto, I was fine with it.

In order to more easily move, he created a bunch of ice at his feet and slid on it, careful not to slip and fall. I was still panting and trying to recover from the long run I just took.

"Don't," I panted, "worry.  I'll take care of him if he comes too close."

"If I can help it, he won't make it anywhere near us," he said.

Suddenly, I heard Daiki shout to us.

"Just a bit more! I can see a crowded area!" he called. Shouto, reassured, started moving a bit faster.

We finally arrived in the crowded area and Daiki unfroze time. Shouto was panting, though he never set me down.

"I'm fine now. You can set me down so you can recover," I told him. But he didn't. In fact, he hugged me tightly, pulling me against him. I blushed slightly. "S-Shouto?"

"I want to keep holding you," he muttered.

"Oi! Quit flirting, you two! We may be safe, but we still need to get away!" Daiki said.

I looked back and saw the man chasing us arguing with the cloaked man. From what I could hear, it seemed as if the man chasing us wanted to attack us regardless of the crowd while the other refused.

"No way! The boss told us not to involve innocent people! And you know my quirk isn't safe in crowded places! Do what you want, but I refuse!"

While the two were arguing, we snuck away, hiding in the crowd.

"We need to do something about your hair," I said to Shouto, "It's a dead giveaway." Suddenly, I got an idea. "Set me down; I have an idea." He set me down in front of him and I put my hands in his hair. I saw him blush.

"W-What are you doing, (Y-F/n)?" he asked, flustered. I said nothing, simply releasing a letting them soak his hair, effectively dying his hair black. When I finished, I gave him a thumbs up.

"Don't worry, it's temporary. We can always see a hair stylist to get it removed," I said, giving a thumbs up despite my emotionless face.

I grabbed Shouto's hand and pulled him into the crowd. Once we were felt we were far enough away, we stopped and decided to discuss our plan.

"What are we going to do? This guy seems unbeatable." Daiki was surprisingly serious.

"I say we stay put. It sounded like his partner is refusing to do anything so long as we're in a crowded place," I proposed. Shouto shook his head.

"That may be true, but we can't stay here forever. And even if his partner doesnt want to do anything, there's no telling what the guy himself is capable of."

"Then what? Our options are limited. Neither are favorable, but we need to decide what's best."

"We'll use the crowd to buy some time so we can head to an isolated area and fight them," Todoroki stated. I thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"I think that's the best we can do. Any ideas on where to go?"

"Ooh! Ooh! I know an abandoned house!" I frowned and brought my hand to my chin.

"A house? That could work, but unless it's an abnormally large mansion, it'd probably be too cluttered to fight in." I glanced at Todoroki, who was giving me a concerned look.

"Do you think it's safe to bring them to that place?"

Sorry if the end seemed a bit rushed. I've had this in my drafts for almost a year with no motivation or ideas to finish it. Updates will be very slow from here on. I'm not really into MHA as much anymore, so updating this almost feels like an obligation rather than a hobby. The only thing keeping ms from completely dropping it is the fact that I have the plot semi-planned out (a bunch of ideas that are all linked together but that I need to figure out how to add into the story in a natural way). Looking back on some of my previous chapters, I'm not really happy with the way I wrote them, but I'm lacking the motivation to edit them all to stay consistent with each other and the chapters yet to come. I'm really sorry to those of you who enjoy reading this (I totally relate to the feeling of finding a fanfic I love only to find that it hasn't been updated in years). I'll try to update, but it'll probably take months for me to find the motivation.

On another note, I made a lazy doodle of Daiki.

I then decided that Y/n would likely respond to this action with annoyance, so I made this

I also want to add that while looking up reference pictures of jotaro, I saw one labelled "jotaro kujo x star platinum" and I thought it was too cursed to not share
