Synopsis

MELISSA JOCELYN BYERS left Hawkins, Indiana, with a hopeful resolution to bring success and comfort for her family. Her mother, Joyce, was left to raise three children. Graduating in fashion she came out of university, top of her classes, a bachelor certificate and degree in her manicured hand.

There was nothing Melissa Byers couldn't do. Her intelligence always leaves Joyce amazed, never understanding how she could have a smart daughter. It certainly wasn't a trait she inherited, got, from either parent.

Joyce never saw herself good enough, a bad mom, because of not allowing and giving her kids a childhood each deserves. Working tedious hours to provide food for seemingly endless amounts of time.

The grand opening to Melissa's boutique brought success, an unprecedented amount in people coming to buy her products funded number of other selected branches being built. She made a name for herself in the fashion industry.

Never forgetting her place, beginning, where she was born and raised. Each month there would be a check deposited to her family, more specifically Joyce.

But her estranged father, Lonnie, prides in his attempts to manipulate his self to pry away money out of her. She knew better than to believe anything that would come out of him. There were plentiful days where it is obvious Lonnie never thought or wish for a daughter.

Joyce is the sole parent in her daughter's life. She sympathises and wishes Lonnie would respect her, much as he did with Jonathan and will. There was hope but nothing she wouldn't hold with high expectations. He had proven his incompetence.

MELISSA returns home to Hawkins, the disappearance of her youngest brother Will bringing her back from the bustling metropolis New York City, where she is caught in the dark force of nature that is a supernatural mystery happening in plain sight. Secret government exploits are exposed, revealing Hawkins is nothing more than a nightmare.

Extraordinary mysteries Melissa couldn't fathom, or wanted to think were real but were the source of her never wanting to come back. Not including being in love, and having an attraction to Jim Hopper.

it was strictly prohibited, wrong, but a connection channels them together. Desire runs in their hearts and each soul rekindles a burning passion that was once there.

Before this story begins I just want to give a full disclosure. There is nothing I respect more then Opinions, and personal preferences. I won't force you to read this story if you are not interested or find it uncomfortable to read a story where an age gap romance is involved. There are thousands of stories in similarities to my own.
