Here's the next chapter as promised! It's kind of longish, but I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it!!

Nova and Halo quickly turned towards the voice. It came from the bushes. Halo, who was the braver (and less sensible) one of the two, tiptoed forward and gingerly parted the leaves of the bush. Suddenly, a weird colourful gadget popped out from between his fingers, making the children jump back in alarm.

"Drop any weapons in your possession and put your arms above your head!" came the strange voice again.

"We're unarmed! Who- who are you?" asked Nova.

The bushes shook. And it jumped out.

The twins stared. It was round and short, and had canary yellow fur all over its body. It had two skinny purple arms and legs, and a long antenna of the same colour on its head. "Well, hello there!" it said, and smiled too. It cheerfully went on- "You seem to be quite harmless. Greetings to Earth from the planet Zortum. I'm Ptyoztum, but you can call me Yoz. Nice to meet you! What do they call you?"

Halo gaped at the alien and dropped the mangoes he was carrying. "Ummm... I'm Nova, and this is my brother, Halo..." Nova ventured.

"Nice to meet you, very nice indeed. Could I ask you for a favour?"

"Yeah yeah sure, but how are you speaking English?? " Halo seemed to have recovered from his shock.

"Oh, I have this translator which helps me speak in any language in the universe."

"How many more planets have actual living things??!!"

"Oh, millions. At least one in every galaxy." Yoz smiled. Halo looked horrified.

"So Nova and Halo, it was a pleasure to meet you! Would you do me a favour and not tell anyone that you saw me here? Your people and big weapons are pretty scary."

Nova looked at the alien with narrowed eyes. "What about that thing you're carrying then, huh?"

Yoz looked down at the gadget in his hands. "Oh, this? This wouldn't have harmed you at all! It would have simply knocked you out for a couple of minutes. Why would I want to harm you?"

The twins exchanged glances. The alien seemed to be speaking the truth.

"Alright," said Nova. "We won't tell anybody."

The alien smiled gratefully. "Thank you," he said, "and goodbye." He then wiggled the antenna on his head, and a purple spaceship rose from behind the bushes. "Would you watch this? I'll be back in a minute." The alien hurried towards the end of the garden, and began waving his antenna.

"Nova! Halo!" Called their mother from inside.

Nova looked at Halo. "You watch it for Yoz and I'll see what Mom wants." Halo nodded, and she ran inside.

"Could you turn on the tap for me? My hands are covered in flour." Nova did as told. Suddenly, there came a whoosh sound from outside.

"What's that??"

Nova ran outside just in time to see Yoz running towards the spaceship, which was flying away with Halo stuck inside, waving his arms frantically for help.

Ooh! What d'you think Nova and Yoz are gonna do?? And poor meddlesome Halo. He HAD to mess around with the spaceship, didn't he? Anyways, I'll try to update as soon as possible! Thanks for reading, don't forget to vote & comment & recommend it to your friends, and have a great day!! :)
