Ava Myer is a 16-year-old girl with more problems than an adult. With a sh*tty stepfather and a problematic family, she finds a way to have peace in her life for at least 10 hours. You know how? By cuddling with her favourite pillow while going to slumberland. In other words, by transferring all her miseries in her pillow. It wouldn't mind taking them in, now would it?

As if her life wasn't hell already, came 17-year-old Jack Jones to ruin her life even more. Multi-dimensions are cool and all, but how bad could it be to fall in love with an alien?

With late-night conversations and a talking pillow, how will Ava handle her already sh*t life?
