Menacing

My eyes flickered open only to be met with complete and utter darkness. I had absolutely no clue where I was at the moment or even how much time had passed since I've been captured. All I knew was that the air around me was cold, and had I not been wearing such a thick hoodie I would probably be freezing to death. I was also in a great amount of pain; my foot and ankle ached with a heavy intensity, my rib cage was burning, and my arm stung greatly. I was weak, much weaker than I had been when I was first captured by the Decepticons. It hurt to even move, but I knew that I needed to. I had to get out of here, wherever here was.
With as much strength as I could muster, I sat up. A sharp pain coursed through my body, but I ignored it and continued searching around for some way out of this hell hole. I didn't get very far though. I probably moved about two feet before running into some type of barrier. I began feeling around, hoping to find out what this barrier was, and was saddened when I found that I was locked inside a cage. There was no way for me to get out and that pained me deeply. Things for me weren't looking too great so far. I feared that I may be here for a few weeks before anyone comes to save me; who knows, I'll probably even be dead.
I first thought about using my ability to try and escape this horror house, but then realized that I was far too weak to exert myself like that. Instead, I locked my fingers through the bars in the cage and began shaking it. Once again I was struck with pain, but I couldn't worry about it. I needed someone to hear me in here, and I didn't care if it was a Decepticon or not.
"Someone please help me!" I croaked. The cage rattled intensely as I shook it, and I was almost positive that someone could hear me. "Please! Somebody help me! Please!"
It wasn't but five seconds later that I heard the sound of heavy footsteps. The sound of a metal door being slid open could be heard, and before long light was flooding into the room, causing me to shield my eyes to protect it from the brightness. I managed to compose myself, though, and looked back toward the light. A large figure was standing in the doorway, and I was almost certain that it wasn't a human. The piercing red eyes were a dead give away.
"The human is finally awake. Should I proceed?" the figure spoke. This was most definitely a Decepticon, and I was sure he was speaking with another Decepticon. I couldn't see or hear another Decepticon, so I assumed they were speaking through a communication link.
The Decepticon waited for about ten seconds before finally making his way way over to me. He knelt down to my level and looked me directly in my fearful blue eyes. I had no clue whether I was about to die or not, and the thought was really unsettling to me.
"Hello, human." The Con didn't exactly sound as menacing as I thought he should. If anything he sounded like a typical human starting a typical conversation with another human. He didn't seem threatening at all, but I couldn't be too careful.
"H-hello," I stuttered. The fear was very evident in my tone of voice, and the Con noticed this.
"Why are you scared, puny human?" he asked. I almost wanted to hit him. What a dumb question! I'm scared because I'm a small human being in the same room--and possibly the same building--as much larger beings who have the means to harm me. It's pretty much common sense.
"Because y-you're g-gonna kill me," I squeaked. I was afraid to say the wrong thing; I didn't exactly want to die in this cage.
"That is not at all what we plan to do to you. However, if you do not cooperate with us then we have no choice but to exterminate you," he said.
Immediately I felt myself being lifted, and I squealed before throwing myself against the side of the cage. We were now moving, and I wanted to reply to his previous statement, but I also wanted to get a good glimpse at where I was and that's exactly what I was going to do. The only thing I really saw, though, were dozens--maybe even hundreds--of high-tech doors. It looked like something you would find in a sci-fi movie, only it was on a much bigger scale. I was sure the size had to do with the Decepticons. It still didn't help the fact that I felt too small; I felt helpless and pathetic, and I absolutely hated it. If I could get out of here soon, or if someone could come and get me out of here, then I would really love that.
"Where are we going?" I asked the Decepticon carrying me. I wandered if I would be able to somehow clean myself up or if they would allow me to do so. My arm was bleeding and I was covered in dust and dirt, not to mention the blood from the minor cuts on my face and legs.
"To the lab. We have to make you stronger," he replied nonchalantly.
His words only frightened me more. I had no clue what he even meant by that. Were they going to heal me with their advanced medical technology, or were they going to use me as a human guinea pig and just use different shit to experiment on me? Either way, they both scared me. When Ratchet cared for me he didn't even use their highly advanced Cybertronian medicine on me. He examined me like a human doctor would, and he cared for me just as a human doctor would. I wouldn't put it passed the Decepticons to try to use their potentially dangerous technology on me. The Decepticons didn't care about human life, and although they think they need me for whatever they need me for, if I was killed by their technology they'd just brush it off and continue on with the fighting.
"What do you mean make me stronger?"
"You'll see."
He came to a door at the very end of the hall, and it slid open automatically before he walked in. The lab, I assume, was incredibly huge, much bigger than the one Ratchet had back at base. Numerous metal tables and various test tubes were scattered throughout the room, along with several Decepticons. Once again I began to feel incredibly small and incredibly scared.
"Barricade has finally returned with the human," a high-pitched voice said. Just the sound of it made me feel as if someone was holding two metal plates against my ears and rubbing them together. I did not like it at all, and the tone in the voice was nothing short of menacing.
"Yes," one laughed. Its voice was deep just as Optimus's was, but it definitely was not Optimus. Optimus's voice held so much compassion and light, while this voice was nothing but foul and filled with darkness. It was definitely not the kind of voice I'd want to fall asleep listening to; I'd probably never wake up.
Just being in here with these wicked robots made me so angry. I had no clue whether these were the specific Decepticons who killed my family or not, but even so they were still all connected. I wanted so badly to just murder them all, but I was far too weak to even move, let alone fight.
"What do you want with me? Are you going to slaughter me just like you slaughtered my family?" I asked, the anger evident in my voice.
The Decepticon who had been carrying me sat me down on a cold, metal table and snapped the latch. The cage opened, but like I said...I could not move.
"Your petulance will get you nowhere, child," the Decepticon with the high-pitched voice spat at me. I didn't even have the time to think before he grabbed the cage and literally dumped me out of it. I cried out in pain as I landed on my side. If my ribs weren't broken before then they definitely were now.
"You claim you need me, yet you continue to harm me. What kind of sense does that make?" I grumbled as I attempted to catch my breath. It was knocked right back out of me when he flipped me onto my back.
"Discipline comes to those who defy," he growled as he began strapping me down to the table. I couldn't even respond because I was far too busy trying to locate where the source of oxygen was in my body. It was almost as if my lungs had completely disappeared inside my body.
"Starscream, I believe you may be over-exerting your strength onto her. The female looks as if she is ready to pass out," Barricade, I think, said. He was completely right though. I didn't have enough damn oxygen in my body to keep myself conscious.
"She has been unconscious for the passed three days. If she knows what is good for her then she'll stay awake," Starscream responded.
The thing is, the only good thing for me is Optimus Prime and my family, both of whom are not here. I guess I really had nothing to lose at the moment, and if they really needed me as much as they say they do then I highly doubt they'll actually kill me, even Starscream or whatever. I just hoped that Optimus and the Autobots were on their way. I was pretty sure that they had a better clue about where I was than I did, so hopefully I wouldn't be waiting for much longer. If this wasn't the case, then I was going to try and find a way out of here myself, even if that meant destroying this entire place and the Decepticons in it. All I could do right now, though, was wait.
