Chapter 45:

The downfall of the consigliere

Note: Consigliere means an adviser, especially to a crime boss.

[P.O.V] Terrance de Guzman

[Atm at Mr. de Castro's office]

"Why are you doing here?" (Mr. de Casto asks me as he feels confused and startled.)

At that moment, I suddenly give him an evil smirk smile as I making a furiously look at him.

"I'm here to overthrow the bishop of chess ... oh my mistake, sorry if I called you by the wrong name because I know you're not the bishop of the chess because you're the real king of chess, even though these game of chess is made by James Sebastian but I know that you're the real mastermind of all of this!" (I said to Mr. de Castro as I give him a furiously stare.)

At that moment, Mr. de Castro suddenly laugh at me because of what I said to him.

"Are going to overthrow me? are you kidding me? you're just a kid then how are you going to overthrow me?" (Mr. de Castro said to me as he continuously gives me a slight laugh.)

At that moment, I suddenly smirk at Mr. de Castro as I slowly approach him.

"Do you still remember who I am?  .... people will not dare to call me by the name of "Wizard King"  for no reason and also, do you know the easy way to win the game of chess?" (I ask Mr. de Castro as I give him a smirk smile.)

"What do you mean?" (Mr. de Castro asks me.)

While Mr. de Castro and I talking about the game of chess. Jiro, my father, and three police officers suddenly arrived at Mr. de Castro's office.

"Hello there, Mr. de Castro." (My father said to Mr. de Castro as he waving his hand with a brown envelope with a smile on his face.)

At that moment, Mr. de Castro suddenly startled when he saw my father and the three police officer.

"Why are you here? I thought you are in abroad? and why and how the police get inside in this university." (Mr. de Castro asks me as he totally confused and started.)

At that moment, I suddenly wipe Mr. de Castro's shoulder as I said "When my father knows all your bad deeds in this university and what you did to my younger brother four years ago (Framing-up Benjie), my father decides to go abroad to buy all 90% shares in this university but when my father went abroad, I decide to look over my younger brother (Benjie) because my father and I had a bad feeling that you're going to overthrow Benjie just like what you did to me here in I was in grade school but as I expect, you always use the old strategy of yours "You always use other people as your puppet."  and that old strategy of yours is against the law that's why, before I decide to confront the consigliere in this game of chess, I thought calling my secret knight of the chess (Jiro) to call cops to arrest you." 

At that moment, the three police officers immediately arrest Mr. de Guzman.

"Hey! why the police officers arrest me? do you have any strong evidence to accusing me of all the bad deeds I made in this university?" (Mr. de Castro asks me as extremely angry at me.)

At that moment, I suddenly laugh because of what Mr. de Castro asks me.

"Just like what I said a while ago, the old strategy of yours is against the law... you always use minors (Students) to commit a crime and because of what you did right now, all the student herein the university wants to hurt Benjie and my other friends." (I said to Mr. de Guzman as I pointed and touch Mr. de Castro using my index finger.)

"But, you and your father have no right to arrest me because I am of the shareholders in the university." (Mr. de Castro quickly said to me as his voice stuttering because of the nervousness.)

At that moment, I suddenly laugh again because of what Mr. de Castro said to me.

"The easy way to win the game of chess by checkmating the opponent that's why, my father decides to buy 90% shares in this university to overthrow you as the dean and the shareholders on this university." (I said to Mr. de Castro as I making a furious look on my face.)

Note: Checkmating the opponent wins the game. In chess, the king is never captured—the player loses as soon as their king is checkmated. In formal games, most players resign an inevitably lost game before being checkmated. It is usually considered bad etiquette to continue playing in a completely hopeless position.

After five minutes, Mr. de Castro was finally arrested by the police officer at that moment, I feel happy that the game of chess was finally over but unexpectedly, the electricity within the university suddenly turns on, and when the electricity within the university suddenly turns on, Jiro and I suddenly surprised of what we saw at the university digital bulletin board.

"Hey! it's that Kaito? damn it! I thought this game was finally over since Mr. de Castro is now arrested by the police officer." (Jiro suddenly to me as he confused and frustrated.)

While Jiro and I looking at the university digital bulletin board with frustration in our hearts. The digital bulletin board suddenly glitch and automatically switch into Benjie's photo.

After Benjie's photo suddenly pops out on the screen of the university digital bulletin board, the university announcement speaker turns on with a robotic voice.

[University announcement speaker] (Robotic voice)

"To end this special game, all the students within the university need to become one and joined forces to capture the legendary beast (Benjie) and if someone captures Benjamin de Guzman within 10 minutes, all the students in this university will receive a special prize."

When Jiro heard that robotic voice, he immediately contacts the police officer using his cellphone to rescue Kaito but he failed because since the electricity within the university turns on again, the signal interruption within the university activates again, and also, the four gates within the university is a powered by the electricity... in other words, all the students here in the university are all trap that's why, Jiro has no choice to run away towards Kaito's location to rescue by himself but before Jiro run away far from me, I immediately chase him.

"Can you please calm down!" (I said to Jiro as I grabbed his shoulder.)

"How I can calm down if Kaito was in danger!" (Jiro said to me as he feels frustrated by himself.)

At that moment, my father suddenly speaks to me.

"If the electricity is the main cause why there's a signal interruption within the university, and all of us are trap here, all we need to do is to fly so that we can call the police again." (My father said to me as he smiling at me as he pointed his pen in the ceiling of the university.)

"Are you saying that we need to fly above in this university using your helicopter just to find a signal to contact the police to arrest James Sebastian?" (I ask my father.)

"Yeah... that's the only way for us to help your stupid brother." (My father said to me.)

While my father and I talking, Jiro suddenly interrupts our conversation.

"Wait! if we can use Mr. de Guzman's helicopter, instead of calling the cops, we just need to go to the police station to report and ask for help." (Jiro said to me.)

"Since this university is located 1km away from the city, we can't easily find a helipad or landing area to land my father's helicopter, that's why, all we need to do is to fly above in this university to find a signal to contact the police to ask for help." (I said to Jiro.)

Note: Helipad is a landing area or platform for helicopters and powered lift aircraft.
