Chapter 40:

Rewrite the climax

[P.O.V] Third Alcantara

While I was searching for Ethan within the university to stop him from helping Joseph's older brother with his evil plan against Benjie, someone suddenly touches my shoulder and that person was Benjie's older half-brother, Terrance de Guzman.

"I am so lucky that I saw you here." (Terrance said to me as he exhausted while he touches my shoulder.

At that moment, I suddenly speechless because of startled, and after a few seconds, I suddenly ask Terrance.

"What's the problem?" (I ask Terrance as my voice stuttering because of startled.)

"Can you stop searching Ethan's exact location because I have a better and easy plan for us to stop Ethan from helping James Sebastian with his evil plan within the university." (Terrance said to me.)

"Wawawait! what do you mean?" (I ask Terrance as I so confused about what he was saying.)

"Do you have a pen and a piece of paper?" (Terrance asks me as he searching in his pocket for a pen.)

"For what?" (I ask Terrance.)

"No time for explanation just give me a pen and a piece of paper!" (Terrance said to me.)

"I don't have any of those things because those things are useless in the university intramurals day." (I said to Terrance.)

"Damn it!" (Terrance said as he pissed off  by himself.)

At that moment, Terrance suddenly ran away as he said to me "Third, please follow me." 

At that time, while Terrance continued running as I follow him and he suddenly entered the vacant classroom and quickly grabbed chalk to write something on the blackboard.

"Hey, what are you doing?" (I ask Terrance as I feel confused about what's really happening.)

"I need to make sure that the number substitution cypher that I was trying to decode on my mind was right." (Terrance said to me as he focusing himself writing a letter and number on the blackboard.)

"What do you mean? wait! can you explain to me what are doing?" (I ask Terrance as I messed up my hair.)

"James Sebastian trying to use Ethan's potential as his trump card to win this game of chess but it seems that Ethan himself didn't want to use his talents comes with computer programming to help James Sebastian from his evil plan within the university that's why Ethan come up with a plan to communicate us using number substitution cypher that popped up on the screen of the digital university bulletin board." (Terrance said to me.)

At that moment, Terrance suddenly stops writing on the blackboard as he staring at the blackboard with a smile on his face.

and after a minute, Terrance slowly went out into the vacant classroom and that time, I immediately follow him.

"Do you know where's the electricity power source within the university?" (Terrance suddenly asks me as he keeps walking in the university hallway.)

"Yeah, but I am still confused." (I said to Terrance as I follow him.)

At that moment, Terrance suddenly turned around to talks to me to explain everything.

"Without electricity, Ethan can't use his potential to help James Sebastian, that's why, Ethan wants to tell us that we need to shut down the electrical power source within the university, and right now, all you need to do is to shut down the electrical power source within the university." (Terrance said to me.)

"Wait! me? where are you going?" (I ask Terrance.)

"I need to confront and negotiate with the bishop of the chess (Mr. de Castro) to stop this boring game of James Sebastian." (Terrance said to me as he walks away from me with a fiercely look on his face.)

As I watching Terrance walk away to go somewhere else, I suddenly realize that the de Guzman's brother is kinda scary and weird just like their father.

and just like Terrance told me, I need to shut down the electrical power source within the university to stop one of the evil plans of James Sebastian that's why, I immediately run away towards the electrical power source to shut down the electricity within the university.

As I quickly running towards the location of the electrical power source machine to turn off or shut down the circuit breaker, I suddenly saw Irene and Kaito running towards me.

"Thanks, God! you're safe!" (Irene said to me as she immediately hugs me.)

"Where are you going?" (Kaito suddenly asks me as Irene still hugging me.)

"Benjie's older brother Terrance ordered me to turn off the circuit breaker within the university to stop James Sebastian's evil plans." (I said to Kaito as I look at him with my serious face.) 

"Okay! Irene and I'll join you to turn off the  circuit breaker within the university." (Kaito said to me.)

At that moment, I immediately refuse what Kaito wanted to happen.

"No, I can handle this, and also, Kaito, can I ask a favor?" (I suddenly ask Kaito as I feel a little bit shy.)

"Okay, what is it?" (Kaito immediately asks me without hesitation.)

"Can you take Joseph out in the vengeance empire hideout." (I said to Kaito.)

"So, you know the exact location of James Sebastian's whereabouts?" (Kaito quickly asks me as he feels surprised.)

"I'm not so sure but a while ago, as I searching Ethan's location, I accidentally saw one of your friends named Kevin being captured by the who wearing a weird mask  (Vengeance empire) towards the western side of the university."  (I said to Kaito with a serious face.)

"Do you mean the exact location of James Sebastian is in the university gym?" (Kaito asks me.)

While Kaito and I talking about the exact location of James Sebastian with his army of students (Vengeance empire), Irene suddenly interrupts our conversation.

"I think the university gym isn't the exact location of James Sebastian." (Irene said as she keeps staring at the university map that displays on the wall of the university.)

"What do you mean by that?" (Kaito asks Irene.)

"If James Sebastian wants to play hide and seek, I think he thought to hide in a place that no one could imagine and that place is the [21-14-9-22-5-18-19-9-20-25]  [4-15-18-13-9-20-15-18-25]  [2-21-9-12-4-9-14-7] but if that place is really the exact location of James Sebastian within the university, I will not let Kaito and I go there because that place is so dangerous for two of us." (Irene said with a serious face.)

"Okay, Irene, let's swap... Kaito and I are going in the [21-14-9-22-5-18-19-9-20-25] [4-15-18-13-9-20-15-18-25] [2-21-9-12-4-9-14-7] to save Joseph and Kaito's friend and you are going to the electrical power source machine within the university to turn off or shut down the circuit breaker." (I said to Irene as I smirking at her.)

"But..." (Irene said as she confused and a little bit worried.)

"Yeah, I agree with Third and also, I think that's a good idea to save Kevin and Joseph, so, please... Irene, can you please go to the electrical power source machine within the university to turn off or shut down the circuit breaker and also, I think the three of us had a chance to rewrite the climax of what James Sebastian wanted to happen." (Kaito said to Irene as he smirking at her.)

Note: Rewrite the climax means to change the tragic fate.
