Chapter 32: 

The law of possibility

As Benjie and Kaito talk to each other privately, I thought of going to the university cafeteria to buy some snacks for my friends but when I got there, I suddenly remember that I spent all my money for this week to buy a limited edition drone for myself but as I staring at other people's food at the cafeteria... I suddenly remembered Benjie's locker and inside his locker, he always left his extra wallet with cash with his ATM card so I thought to go to his locker to take his extra cash to buy snacks in the cafeteria.

After three minutes of walking, I finally arrive at Benjie's locker but before I open his locker, I must check if anyone's around because as I recall, the last time I took Benjie's extra cash in his locker without his knowing... Someone's reported me as a perverted thief because, at that time, there's a perverted thief wanderer on campus who stealing girl's underwear at the girl's locker herein the campus, and the person who caught and reported me at the guidance office suspected me that I'm the legendary perverted thief on campus and that's one of the reasons I hate this university especially the guidance office. 

After I check the surroundings, I decided to open Benjie's locker to take some cash to buy snacks but after I opened Benjie's locker and took some cash, I suddenly notice something strangely inside of his locker.

"A flash drive?" (I suddenly questioned myself as I picked up the flash drive.)

At that time, when I picked up the flash drive I saw inside of Benjie's locker. There's something that pops up in my mind that makes me smile like an idiot.

"So that's why I don't see Benjie's pornographic video on his phone anymore because this is where he hides all the pornographic videos he bought on the porn website (Evil laugh)." (I spoke like a pervert and the students walking past the hallway suspected me that I'm going crazy.)

After I took Benjie's extra money and his flash drive with a huge smile on my face... I quickly closed his locker and immediately went to the university cafeteria to buy snacks and later on, after I buy snacks and drinks for me and my friends at the university cafeteria, I decided to go back to the abandoned classroom but all the snacks I bought in the cafeteria I suddenly fell to the floor when I saw Irene Amores inside the abandoned classroom as she was talking to my friends.

I don't know why this witch is here but she told my friends the real plan of Joseph's older brother against Benjie.

As Irene spoke to us, I immediately seat beside Gun to ask him why Irene Amores helping us to overthrow James Sebastian. 

"She said, they have an agreement with Kaito that's why she decides to reveal some private information about James Sebastian's evil plan against Benjie." (Gun told me as he grabs some remaining snacks I brought to the cafeteria.)

"Kaito made an agreement with her? What kind of agreement? and where's he is?... and moreover, can we really trust that girl! (Irene) and we all know that girl has a horn on her head! that's why she's helping us now because she has an evil plan against us!" (I whispery told Gun as I give Irene a suspicious look.)

But while I was talking to Gun about Irene... She suddenly overheard us and said: "Because of our situation right now, I know that I don't deserve to be trusted but please believe me that that two days from now, James Sebastian will carry out his evil plan against Benjie!"

At that moment, all my friends except for Benjie were suddenly surprised by what Irene told to us.

"Wawait! What? Are you kidding me, right?" (Dianne startled as she's voice becomes stuttered.) 

"Two days from now is our university intramurals day, why did James Sebastian think of making his plan on that special day of our university?" (Jelai asked Irene with curiosity within her voice.) 

"I don't know what his real plan but after Joseph and Third tried to stop James Sebastian, I heard one of his colleagues that the day of the intramurals is the beginning of the game of chess." (Irene answered Jelai's question.)

At that time, Terrance suddenly stood up because of what he heard from Irene.

 "Is he crazy!?" (Terrance spoke with anger in his voice.)

"What's the problem? and moreover, what is the game of chess?" (Jelai asked.) 

After Gun heard Jelai's question, he thought to explain what's the meaning of Game of Chess.

"The game of chess is a combat role-playing game in which the whole campus serves as a battlefield or chessboard of two teams and each member of the team has a unique position that serves as a platform to protect the king or its leader and the two teams I am referring to is our team against James's Sebastian's team and in the game of chess, we must first defeat James's Sebastian soldiers before we can go after him to defeat him." (Gun spoke.)

Note: Role-player game is a game in which players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting.

"So that's the reason why James Sebastian want to get Third's army of student to fullfil this game." (Jelai spoke as she seriousness.)

"Exactly." (Gun spoke after he heard Jelai's says.)

"But how can we win in this game when we have nothing against their team?" (Dianne asks.)

"We can't win against their team but we have to try to find out if we can handle James Sebastian army of students but first of all, we must find a way to protect other students during university intramurals because I have a bad feeling that James Sebastian will also use the innocent student to easily take down our team." (Terrance told us.)

"But, Is there any possible way for us to defeat James Sebastian on the day of intramurals?" (I ask Terrance.)

"Yeah, there are two possibilities for us to beat James Sebastian and get everyone back to normal." (Terrance said.)

 "What do you think is the best way for us to beat him?" (Dianne asked Terrance.)

"The first possibility for us to beat James Sebastian in his plan is that we also need to build an army of students to fight with him but in our current situation and Benjie's bad reputation, we can't build an army of students for  just two days." (Terrance said.) 

"But what is the second possible way for us to beat James Sebastian because maybe the second plan you thinking will work for us, right?" (I asked Terrance with a smile.)

After Terrance heard my question, he suddenly looked at Benjie with sadness in his eyes, and as I watched the two of them stare at each other, I suddenly felt something in my chest that makes me worried.

"Benjie is the only one who can do what's our final option to stop this mess." (Terrance told us as he sighed.)

At that moment, Benjie suddenly talks to Terrance with his severe looks and said: "Are you sure that this mess that are we facing right now will stop if I agree to the second plan you are thinking of?

The moment of silence between the de Guzman's siblings and after the moment of silence, Terrance suddenly spoke and said:

"Earlier, after Benjie talked to Kaito in the abandoned classroom, he came to me to ask for my help on how we can end this mess so I told him about my plan but even the plan I think of has a huge possibility to restore everything back to normal, I don't want Benjie to do the stupid plan I have in mind but unfortunately, we had no choice but to do the plan I thinking of because that's the only way for us to restore peace within the university." (Terrance told us.)

"So what's the plan? And how can we help Benjie to carry out that plan?" (Jelai asks Terrance.)

"This time, no one can help Benjie because he is the only person who can make the plan that I can think of, and that's... Benjie needs to leave this university voluntarily, if Benjie decides to do voluntarily expel in this university, we can kill two birds one stone... first, we can stop James Sebastian's army of students from their evil plan against Benjie, and lastly, we can get rid of the anger in people's hearts towards Benjie" (Terrance spoke to us.)

At that time, after I heard Terrance's plan, I angrily stood up from my seat and yelled:

"What! Are you fucking serious? Why does Benjie have to leave this university?! Did you forget that our main goal is to defeat James Sebastian so why are you saying that Benjie needs to leave this university voluntarily!?" (I angrily yelled at Terrance.)

"Yeah, I agree with Kevin and moreover, Irene has the power to withdraw the new petition against Benjie." (Gun told Terrance as he pointing Irene.)

"Yeah, he's right... as the second complainant of the new student petition, I have the right to cancel the new student petition that Joseph made against Benjie so Benjie doesn't have to leave this university." (Irene told Terrance.)

"Yes, we can withdraw Joseph's student petition against Benjie but while Benjie is still attending at this university... We can't get rid of the anger in people's hearts at Benjie that's why Benjie had to leave this university after we beat James Sebastian on the day of the intramurals."(Terrance spoke to us.)

At that time, everyone within the abandoned classroom suddenly felt upset because we don't want Benjie to leave this university but just like Terrance said, this was the only way to restore peace within the university but while the surroundings became quiet because of a painful decision... the door of the abandoned classroom suddenly open and when it opened, we saw Kaito crying because of what he heard inside the abandoned classroom.

At that moment, as we saw Kaito with tears as he standing, Benjie's tears suddenly fell down too and at this moment, I realized that Benjie's decision was not for the people who hated him but for Kaito's sake... Benjie wants to protect Kaito that's why he sacrifices himself for Kaito's safety.

Benjie knew there were many options to stop this mess but the option he chose was to sacrifice himself because he knew the root of this mess was his mistakes in the past and the sacrifice that Benjie made is called the law of possibility. A possibility for not choosing what the heart desires for the sake of the future.
