Chapter 21:

The wizard king and his metronome

Special Note: This chapter is quite long but I hope all readers will read it carefully because this chapter is very important and might help the readers to understand the storyline of arc 4 of this book.

[P.O.V] Kaito Almasen (Kai)

Before we could pick up Benjie's older brother at the airport, we both decided to go home to our condo unit to change clothes, and right now, as I fixing my hair while I staring at my reflection in the mirror, my Mom suddenly called my phone.

"Hello, Mom, What's up? Why do you call me?" (I asked my Mom on the phone call as my left hand was busy fixing the hair.)

"Are you free tonight, Frederick? Shall we have a family dinner tonight because your father and I have something important to tell you?" (My Mom told me on the phone call.)

"Tonight?... but.." (Kaito.)

"Aren't you free tonight?" (My Mom asking me on the phone call.)

"Yeah, it seems like that because I'm too busy preparing for the upcoming intramurals day at university." (I told my Mom as I scratching my head while I am making an excuse.)

"Hmm... I see, but next time, Frederick... I need you to come and have dinner with me and your father because there's something you need to know why we decide to go home here in the Philippines." (My Mom told me on the phone call.)

"Wait, Mom... What do you mean? Do you have anything you don't tell me?" (I asked my Mom on the phone call.)

As I asked my Mom on the phone call, my doorbell herein my condo unit suddenly rang.

"Okay, Mom, I need to hang up the phone now, but don't worry Mom and I promise to you that I'll be able to attend our family dinner next time, okay, Bye." (I told my Mom on the phone.)

After I hang up the phone call, I quickly went to the door to check who's the one who ranging my doorbell and when I open my door, I saw Benjie standing and waiting for me outside of my condo unit.

After a few seconds, I let Benjie in, and after one minute, while I'm standing in front of the mirror here in my bedroom, I fix the collar of my polo shirt. Benjie approached me and suddenly pushed me into my bed.

At that moment, when I lay in my bed, Benjie suddenly leaned closer to me and as he lean closer and closer to me, I feel that there's something huge slowly growing under his pants.

"Hey, what are trying to do?" (I stuttering ask Benjie as my face completely turns red.)

"Kai, let's have sex before we both went to the airport." (Benjie told me as I felt the heat of his body.)

At that moment, after I heard what Benjie told me as I felt something hard under his pants, my whole face suddenly turned red as my heart beats so crazy.

But at that time as my whole face blushed, I pushed Benjie a little bit as I try to avoid Benjie's eyes and said: "We still need to pick up your older brother at the airport."

"But, Kai, I'm fucking horny right now, I need to let this out and I need you to help me." (Benjie told me as he keeps staring into my eyes.)

"But we don't have condoms." (I told Benjie as I avoiding his stares at me while my face turned red.)

"Don't worry, Kai, I promised, I won't hurt you." (Benjie told me as he bites my left ear.)

After a few seconds, Benjie unbuttons my shirt sleeves and after he unbuttons my upper clothes, he takes off his shirt sleeves as he kissing my neck.

"Benjieeee." (I moaned as Benjie continually kissing my neck as he unzips and takes off my lower clothes.)

After Benjie kiss my neck, he slowly went to my ass to lick my asshole.

"How is it? Does it feel good?" (Benjie asks me as he tries to finger my asshole using his index finger.)

"Yeah, it feels good." (I told Benjie as I moaned.)

After Benjie heard my reply, he suddenly uses two-finger in my asshole.

At that moment, when Benjie put his two-finger in my asshole, I suddenly moaned so hard as I quickly put my hands around his neck.

"Benjieeeee." (I  moaned as Benjie continually fingering my asshole using his index and middle finger.)

as I moaned Benjie's name, he suddenly leaned closer and lick my nipples.

"Moan my real name, Kaito Frederick." (Benjie whispery told me as he bites my left ear while he continually fingering my asshole using his middle finger and index finger.)

At that moment, when I heard Benjie calling my complete first name, I suddenly remember my Mom because of all the people, she's the only one who called my complete first name,  and because of what Benjie did, I quickly pushed him until he went out to my bed and quiklcy dress up.

"Kai? What's wrong? Why do you push me away?" (Benjie quiklcy asks me.)

"Nothing... I just remember something and let just continue this next time, Okay." (I stuttering told Benjie as I throw his clothes towards him.)

After five minutes, Benjie and I went out to my condo unit to go to the airport to pick up his older brother and after we both went out to the condo building, Benjie suddenly went to the parking lot. 

"Where are you going?" (I asked Benjie.) 

"I brought my dad's car so we could get to the airport quickly." (Benjie told me as he pressing the key remote of his Dad's car to open the car door remotely.)

 "Wait! Do you know how to drive?" (I quickly asked Benjie.)

"Yeah, my father taught me how to drive a car because whenever and if my father wasn't available to pick up Terrance, I voluntarily myself pick up my older brother from the airport to send him to his new condo unit herein the Cebu city." (Benjie told me as open the car door.)

"Oh... I see but reminds me... Gun and Kevin told something about your older brother but they told me that it's better if I ask you about this." (I asked Benjie as I sit in the front sit in the car.)

"Is this about, why Terrence needs to pick up in that airport? and why he hates staying at my father's house?" (Benjie asks me as he focusing himself driving the car towards the airport.)

"Yeah." (I respond to Benjie's question.)

"Well, two years ago, when my father and I didn't pick up Terrance at the airport because we were too busy, the airport was in trouble because of him." (Benjie told me as he focusing himself driving the car towards the airport.)

"Trouble? in what situation?" (I asked Benjie as I sitting in the front seat in the car.)

"Two years ago, when my father and I didn't pick up Terrance at the airport because we were too busy, Terrance went to the airport operating broadcast station room to use the airport broadcasting microphone to announced where his family would be picked up, and at that time, the airport security personnel immediately call my father because Terrance told the airport management that he will not stop and leave the airport operating broadcast station room if my father and I don't pick up him at the airport." (Benjie told me with a smirk.)

"But if your Dad and you were too busy at that time, then, Where's Terrance's mother? Why didn't his mother pick him up at the airport?" (I asked Terrance.)

"Seven years ago, while Terrance and I playing at the playground, Terrance's mother passed away because of heart disease and after Terrance's mother was buried, my father offers my mother and me to stay at my father house but my mother refused what my fathers offer because when Terrance's mother still alive, my mother and Terrance's mother are in a good relationship and my mother respect Terrance's mother with all her heart but even my mother refused what my father offer, my father offered me to study at the university where my father is one of the richest shareholders, but at first, I refused what my father offers to me but my mother told me that my father offer is a big opportunity to me for the sake of my future, that's why, I accept what my father offers me and because of what happened to Terrance's mother, he suddenly felt anxious and every night, Terrance couldn't sleep well because he couldn't accept the death of his mother and a week after his mother dies, Terrance attempted to suicide but fortunately, I stopped him before he cut his own wrist using the picture frame glass he broke from his mother's bed room and when my father knows Terrance's situation... He immediately hired a private psychiatrist to observe Terrance's condition, and fortunately, after two months of being observed by the psychiatrist, Terrance's condition suddenly improved because of the metronome... The psychiatrist told us that the metronome is a device that helps someone to fall asleep naturally, without taking any medicine, ever since Terrance has used a metronome to think clearly and stay calm and that's the reason why Terrence doesn't want to stay at our Dad's house because every time he sees our Dad's house, he always remembers his Mother but now, even Terrance is finally moving on about what happens to his mother, he still uses the metronome, it seems like that the metronome and his body is one... he couldn't leave a place without his metronome." (Benjie told me as he focusing himself driving the car towards the airport.)

Note: Metronome is a practice tool that produces a steady pulse (or beat) to help musicians play rhythms accurately. The pulses are measured in beats-per-minute (BPM) Common uses of the metronome are helping you to maintain an established tempo while practicing, and learning difficult passages also metronome helps us fall asleep naturally, without taking any medicine.

After a long conversation with Benjie, we both finally arrive at the airport but after one hour of waiting, Benjie starts complaining about why his older brother still hasn't arrived.

"Geez! Why hasn't Terrence arrived yet!" (Benjie spoke as he sitting on the floor while he feels annoyed with his older brother.)

"Maybe his airplane was on a late flight." (I told Benjie as I drinking milk tea he bought for me.)

"It's already 1 hour and 30 minutes passed and my father told me that his flights from Hong Kong to the Philippines just take 1 hour and 15 minutes." (Benjie told as he felt annoyed.)

After drank the milk that Benjie gave to me, I decided to sit next to Benjie while the both of us waiting for his older brother but suddenly, while the both of us sitting and waiting for Benjie's older brother... There's something weird happen, a lot of people suddenly ran to the airport arcade.

"What's going on? Why a lot of people running towards the airport arcade?" (I spoke as I keep looking at the people running towards the airport arcade.)

At that time, when Benjie notice the strange happened herein the airport, he suddenly stood up and quickly took my backpack and said "I have a bad feeling about this."
  

After Benjie said those words, he took my hand and hurriedly followed the people who were running.

"Wait! Where are we going?" (I startled ask Benjie as he holding my left hand as we walking.)

"We have to go to the arcade within this airport because I have a bad feeling that my older brother was at the airport arcade." (Benjie told with his serious face.) 

After three minutes, when Benjie and I arrived at the airport arcade... a lot of people especially kids were watching the guy wearing a black shirt who plays with a claw machine that continually won and because of his continually won the prizes in the claw machine, his winning prizes is all scattered in the floor.

"Tsk! My guess was right, this jerk playing at the arcade again." (Benjie spoke as he feels stressed.)

"Wait, Who? your older brother? Where he is?" (I asked Benjie as I looking around.)

At that time, as I was looking for Benjie's older brother around the arcade, Benjie suddenly pointed to the guy wearing the black shirt who was playing in the arcade. "Did you see the guy who plays a claw machine... That's my older brother Terrance and he used to waste his money playing in the arcade."

At that moment, I was suddenly surprised by what Benjie told me.

 "Are you fucking serious about what you are saying? Why is your older brother is so young-looking and smaller than you? I thought your older brother is kinda tall." (I asked Benjie.)

 "I can say that Terrance and her mother exactly look alike, his beautiful face and talented personality were from her mother." (Benjie told me.)

After Benjie talking to me about his older brother, he immediately approached his older brother and quiklcy held his older brother's right hand to stop him from playing.

"Hey, Terrance, we're here so stop playing, and let's go home, I'll send you to your new condominium using our Dad's car." (Benjie told his older brother as he held his older brother's hand away from the joystick of the claw machine.)

At that moment, Benjie's older brother Terrance suddenly smirks at Benjie.

"Same as always, you always late when you got here to pick me up." (Terrance told Benjie as he focusing himself on playing the claw machine.) 

"Geez! More importantly, My boyfriend and I were already here to pick you up now so stop playing claw machine." (Benjie scolds his older brother.) 

"Your boyfriend? Don't tell me that you already won your childhood friend's heart?" (Benjie's older brother asks Benjie.)

At that moment, Benjie's older brother suddenly notice me and when he notices me, he quickly approaches me.

"Is this Kaito? the one you always told me since then?" (Terrance asked Benjie as he staring at me.)

"Yeah and now, he's MY BOYFRIEND!" (Benjie proudly told his older brother as he smirking and put his arm around my shoulder.)

"I thought that your childhood friends are just an illusion made by your perverted mind." (Benjie's older brother told Benjie as he making fun of Benjie.)

"Geez! look (Benjie's pointing me) Kai is real and cute Okay! and now, he's my boyfriend." (Benjie told his older brother.)

At that moment, while Benjie says something about me to his older brother, I suddenly felt ashamed of Benjie's childish actions but while the both of them were talking, I decided to introduce myself to Benjie's older brother.

"Hi, I'm Kaito, nice to meet you." (I bravely introduced myself to Benjie's older brother.)

"Hi too, I'm Terrance, Benjie's older half-brother." (Terrance introduced himself to me with a smile as he shaking my hand.)

At that moment, while Terrance and I were shaking hands, he suddenly notices something to me.

"Wait, what happened to your neck, Kaito? that mark seems like a hickey... Hmmm." (Terrance asking me as he looks at my neck.)

At that moment, while I heard what Terrance told me, I quiklcy cover the hickey mark made by Benjie.

"NO! This is just a bite of a mosquito ha~ha~ha (awkward laugh)." (I stuttering told Terrance as I cover the hickey in my neck using the collar of my shirt sleeves.)

At that moment, as I was trying to make an excuse for Terrance not to know the cause of the hickey in my neck... Benjie suddenly spoke up and said: "Tsk, Damn it!... Sorry, Kai, I didn't mean to leave a hickey on your neck."

At that moment, when I heard what Benjie said, I quickly hit his head.

"What the heck, Benjie! stop your nonsense! it's so embarrassing in the front of your older brother." (I scold Benjie so hard as my face turned red.)

At that time, While I scolding Benjie because of his childish personality, Terrance suddenly smirks at us and said: "As an older brother of Benjie, I'm so happy to see that my stupid little brother is happy with the person he loves the most."

"Hmmm... does that mean you're jealous because I already have a lover in my life hahaha." (Benjie teases his older brother.)

After Benjie says those words to his older brother... Benjie suddenly kisses me on my cheek.

After Benjie kissed me on my left cheek... The people who walk by are suddenly startled and staring at us while their faces suddenly turned red because of what they saw but after Benjie kissed, I quickly hit his head as I scolding him about his childish personality.

"Get a room, guys!" (Terrance told us as he feels ashamed of Benjie's childish actions.)

Note: Get a room means to go somewhere private (used as a humorous or mildly disapproving comment on a public display of extremely affectionate or amorous behavior between a couple).

After 10 minutes, while the three of us riding a car towards Terrance's new condominium... and as I sat next to Terrance... Terrance suddenly touches my shoulder as he whispery called my name.

"Hey, Kaito, look at this photo of Benjie when you weren't here in the Philippines." (Terrance whispery talks to me as he keeps giggling at Benjie's old photo on his smartphone.)

At that moment, While Terrance was showing me the old picture of Benjie, I suddenly noticed the girl who was with Benjie in the last old photo Terrance showed me so I thought to ask Terrance about it.

"Who she is?" (I ask Terrance as I pointing the girl in the old photo of Benjie.)

"That fat girl is Benjie's childhood friend when you aren't here in the Philippines... and she also Benjie's first girl---"

"Wait! (3x) This little fat girl Benjie was within the old photo is Dianne?" (I whispery ask Terrance as my voice stuttering because of what I found out.)

"Wait, you know Dianne?" (Terrance whispery ask and told me.)

"Yeah, She's Benjie's ex-girlfriend, and she's also one of my friends within the university." (I whispery told Terrance.)

At that moment, while Terrance and I were talking about Dianne, Benjie suddenly looks at us in the car's rearview mirror just to check on what's going on with me and Terrance.

"Guys, What are you talking about?" (Benjie's asked us as he focusing driving the car.)

"No... Nothing." (Kaito and Terrance.)

"Really?" (Benjie asks me and Terrance as he gives us a suspicious stare at the car's rearview mirror.)

After thirty-five minutes of driving, we arrived at Terrance's condominium where Terrance would stay while he was in Cebu City, Philippines.

"WOW! Are you really staying in this five-star condominium?" (I asked Terrance as I keep looking at the five-star condominium outside of the car.)

At that moment, as I was marveling at the five-star condominium where Benjie's older brother would be staying ... I suddenly remembered Gun asking me to tell him where Terrance would stay... so I hurriedly took my phone out of my pocket to text Gun the exact location of the five-star condominium.

"Yes, I think so... and besides, my father who decided to buy a unit in this five-star condominium before he left the Philippines to talk to other university's shareholders in other different countries." (Terrance told me as he focusing himself get his luggage on the back of the car.)

"Oh... I see." (I respond at Terrance as I focusing myself texting Gun the exact address of the place where Terrance would be staying for a while.)

"Wait? What did you say? What's our father's reason why he wants to talk to the shareholder?" (Benjie asks Terrance.)

At that moment, after Terrance heard what Benjie asking him, he suddenly smirks as slowly approaches Benjie.

"Let's say our father wanted to catch a pest inside the university so, he decided to talk to other shareholders to convince them to allow our Father to catch the pest that is slowly destroying the university." (Terrance told Benjie with a smirk.)

"What do you mean by catching a pest?" (Benjie asks Terrance.)

"You'll found out soon If our father came back here in the Philippines." (Terrance told Benjie as he pats Benjie's shoulder.)

After Terrance talked to Benjie, he suddenly approached me to give me all the prizes he had won on the claw machine earlier at the airport.

"Here, it's all yours now." (Terrance told me as he gives me all the prizes he won on the claw machine.)

"Why are you giving all this to me?" (I ask Terrance as I lift up everything he has given me.)

"Yeah, same question, Dude! Why are you give all these things to MY BOYFRIEND." (Benjie asks Terrance as he gives Terrance a suspicious stare.)

At that moment, while Benjie asking Terrance... Terrance suddenly takes a selfie with me, and said: "Kaito is already my friend and my future brother in law so I can treat him just like my little brother hahaha."

After Terrance says those words as he takes a selfie with me, Benjie and I suddenly laugh so hard.

After Terrance picks up his luggage in the car's back compartment, Benjie and I decide to go home and while Benjie and I were in the car. Benjie suddenly spoke as he focusing driving on the road.

"Terrance is quite different than usual." (Benjie spoke as he focusing himself driving on the road.)

"What do you mean quite different than usual? and when was the last time the both of you saw each other?" (I ask Benjie.)

"It's been two years since he last came back here to the Philippines but now that he's back here in the Philippines, I feel like he's changed a lot, and like I told you... Terrance always carries his metronome wherever he goes but when we both arrived at the airport arcade, I didn't see his metronome." (Benjie told me.)

"Things change over time and like the payphone becoming a digital smartphone, There's room for improvement and people change with time ... and if you feel like your older brother has changed a lot... I think he had a reason why he chose to change himself and whatever reason he had, we just to respect his decision." (I told Benjie.)

"Yeah, you're right, Kai but there's one thing I think I won't change to me and to anyone else." (Benjie told me as he gives me a smile.)

"What is it?" (I ask Benjie.)

"The fate that engraved in our palm... even though we trying our best change the past for the present and the future... timing is everything, if it's meant to happen, It will at the right time for the right reasons." (Benjie told me with a smile on his face.)

After Benjie says those words to me, I suddenly feel sorry for him deep inside of my heart... because he's right, but even though, my friend and I had a 1% chance to save Benjie against the new petition against him and even whether we like it or not... If Benjie is destined to expel from the university, it will happen but even though I only had 1% of chance to save the person I love the most, I still try my best because If I'm capable of risking everything just to save the person I love, I'll do it for Benjie.

[P.O.V] Terrance de Guzman

[30 minutes later at Terrance's condo unit]

After I taking a bath here in my new condo unit, I decided to unpack all my belongings inside of my luggage, and as I unpacking my belongings inside of my luggage, I suddenly saw my metronome.

"It's been a while old friend." (I spoke as I pull out my metronome inside of the luggage.)

After I said those words as I stare at my metronome, I decide to throw the metronome in the trash bin here in the condo unit but as I act to throw my metronome inside of the trash bin... the door of my new condo unit suddenly open and someone suddenly came in.

"It's been a long time since we saw each other, Terrance."

"Yeah, you're right, Gun." (I told Gun with a smirk.)

After two minutes, I invite Gun to drink with me at the bar table herein my new condo unit and while the both of us enjoying drink whisky... I suddenly remember something.

"Reminds me, how did you get here inside my new condo unit?" (I ask Gun as I fill my shot glass with whiskey.)

"Well, I told the condo receptionist that I am your boyfriend that's why, they give me an extra key card to open your condo unit room." (Gun told me with a smirk.)

"Lol! that's a nice move for Benjie's secret butler but why are you here? Did my father send you here?" (I ask Gun.)

"There's one thing you need to know and you're the only one who can help us," 9Gun told me with his serious face.)

"What is it?" (I ask Gun.)
