The vengeance armies

Special Note: This chapter is quite long but I hope all readers will read it carefully because this chapter is very important and might help the readers to understand the storyline of arc 4 of this book.

17 hours later

Meanwhile at the university cafeteria

While I was with Jelai ordering a cup of coffee and Ice tea herein the university cafeteria, and while we were waiting for the drinks to be done, Jelai suddenly spoke to me while she looked at Kaito and Gun sitting on Benjie's VIP bluish cafeteria table here at the university cafeteria.

"I feel sorry for Kaito, he's working hard to save Benjie from the new student petition, and also, look at his face, he doesn't seem to have slept enough to think of a way to save Benjie." (Jelai spoke to me as he looks at Kaito.)

At that moment while Jelai spoke to me, I didn't respond to her and as the both of us waiting for the drinks to be done, Jelai suddenly notices my silence.

"Are you okay, Kevin?... Are you still mad at Gun?" (Jelai asks me.)

"I'm not angry with him because he kept it a secret from me and Benjie, I'm angry with him because he doesn't trust me with his secret, I understand if he secretly working with Benjie's father but he prefers not to tell me anything and that's the painful thing I can't accept." (I told Jelai as I felt disgusted by Gun.)

"Well, you are right, but behind his selfishness of keeping his true identity from us, he still prefers to be a good friend to you and Benjie, and just like Kaito... he's willing to face a risk to save Benjie from the new student petition." (Jelai told me as she tries to make me understand Gun's situation.)

"Yeah, you are right but even he's a good friend of ours, he can't save Benjie from this big mess because without Benjie's father we'd have nothing." (I told Jelai as I feel sorry for Benjie.)

"What do you mean?" (Jelai asks me.)

At that time, while Jelai asking me a question... the saleslady of the university cafeteria suddenly called us.

"Excuse me, Ma'am and Sir, thank you for waiting, here's your order." (The saleslady spoke as she handed our ordered drinks to Jelai with a smile on her face.)

After Jelai gets our ordered drinks for all of our friends, she suddenly left me to go back to Benjie's VIP bluish cafeteria table here at the university cafeteria.

"Hey! Don't tell me I'll pay for this?" (I yell at Jelai as I feel annoyed at her.)

But at that time, Jelai turns around at me and mocking me, and said: "Thanks for the drinks."

At that moment, while Jelai went back to Benjie's VIP bluish cafeteria table here at the university cafeteria. The saleslady suddenly gives me a bad stare as she waiting for me to pay all Jelai's orders.

"Geez!" (I spoke as I grabbed my wallet to get my ATM card to pay for Jelai's order.)

After I paid all Jelai's ordering using my ATM card, I went back to Benjie's VIP bluish cafeteria table here at the university cafeteria and when I went back to Benjie's VIP bluish cafeteria table to join my friends, I heard Gun discuss what he found about Benjie's new student petition.

"Yesterday, based on Jiro and I investigate inside the school council office, we found out that the main complainant of the new student petition wasn't Joseph Sebastian." (Gun spoke.)

"Then, who's the main complainant of Benjie's new student petition?" (Kaito quiklcy ask Gun.)

At that moment, while Kaito asking Gun about who's the main complainant of Benjie's new student petition. Gun grabs his backpack to take the brown envelope he stole inside the student information office.

"The main complainant of Benjie's new student petition is Irene Amores." (Gun spoke as he grabs Irene Amores's student information profile on the brown envelope to show to us.)

"Irene Amores? Who she is? What is her connection with Joseph Sebastian?" (Kaito asks Gun.)

"As I recall, Jiro told me that Irene Amores ordered him to take you away from Benjie and we all knew that Irene is deeply in love with Benjie but Benjie always reject her feelings that's why I have a suspicion that Irene wants to make Benjie miserable and just like what she does... my guess is James's younger brother (Joseph Sebastian) wants to take Benjie out of this university using  the new student petition to gives justice to his older brother." (Gun told Kaito with his serious face.)

After Gun says those words to Kaito... Kaito was suddenly confused.

"Give justice to his older brother? but Dianne told me that Benjie did nothing to his older brother (James Sebastian) four years ago and the one who did something bad was James Sebastian because he accusing to a crime that Benjie didn't." (Kaito asks Gun as he's confused.)

"Then why is Joseph doing all of this? when he knows that his older brother is the bad person here." (Jelai spoke.)

"There's only one I can think of why Joseph did all of this." (I spoke as I focusing myself drinking my coffee with my serious face.)

"What is it? What is his reason why he doing this to Benjie!" (Kaito quickly asks me.)

"The only reason I can think of is that James Sebastian manipulated his younger brother with his white lies which means James lied to his younger brother about the truth of what really happened four years ago but what confuses me is still hard to believe that they managed to get a lot of votes to remove Benjie from this university in just three days we're not here at the university." (I spoke as I focusing myself drink a cup of coffee with my serious face.)

"Correct me if I'm wrong that Joseph and his friends got 85% of student approval in just three days that we were in the clean-up drive activity which means the new student petition against Benjie is non-withdrawable but how the hell they got a lot of votes in just three days? I mean that's impossible." (Jelai asks as she was completely confused.)

"About that, I think this guy can answer all your questions." (Gun spoke as he grabs something inside of the brown folder.)

"Who he is? What is his connection with Joseph Sebastian and Irene Amores?" (Kaito asks Gun.)

"This guy is Third Alcantara, he's the one who creates the masked group known as the vengeance armies." (Gun spoke as he pointing Third's student information profile using his index finger.)

"Vengeance armies?" (Kaito asks Gun.)

"When we were in the cheerleading clean-up drive activity, Joseph and Irene thought it was a good opportunity for them to gather student approval from other students inside of the university to expel Benjie using the new student petition that Joseph copied from Kaito's old withdrawn student petition but the 1st day they communicating to convince the other students, the student approval they gather wasn't enough to expel Benjie from this university and based on my investigation and for an unknown reason, Third Alcantara helped Irene and Joseph to expedite the process of the new petition against Benjie so Third Alcantara thought to form a group of students who had anger with Benjie to strengthen and make sure that they get Benjie out of here inside our university." (Gun spoke with his serious face.)

Note: Vengeance is a punishment inflicted or retribution exacted for an injury or wrong.

"But we still don't know how Third Alcantara convinced other students to join his group and what the hell did Benjie do to him!? Why is he helping Joseph and Irene to expel Benjie from this university and we all know that Benjie is a good person and he's no longer a troublemaker within the university." (Kaito spoke as he smacks the table as he feels frustrated at Third Alcantara.)

"Yeah, you are right, Benjie already changed because of you but we can't change the fact that Benjie is a big threat from other students in this university, and because of his troublemaker and stubborn personality, he had done something to other students herein our university that they would never forget, a traumatic experience that gave them a fear of dread and apprehension." (I told Kaito as I focusing myself drink my cup of coffee.)

"I agreed  with you but I think the most important thing now is that we know what's going on inside the university and all we can do is to stop the new student petition against Benjie, I am right?" (Jelai cheerful told us.)

"Yeah, we need to work together that's the only way for us to save Benjie from this mess and don't worry, Guys... I'll conduct a further investigation about Joseph, Irene, and Third, and at the same time, I'll find a way for us to save Benjie even the new student petition is non-withdrawable." (Gun spoke.)

At that moment, I suddenly chuckle when I heard what Gun said.

"Stop pretending, Dude... Since I already know that you're working with Benjie's father... your every moves just relies on Mr. de Guzman and even though the four of us trying all our best, we can't save Benjie from this mess because, without Benjie's father help, we were nothing so stop acting like a hero!" (I told Gun as I focusing myself on drinking my coffee.)

After I say those words, Gun quiklcy stood up and angrily pull my uniform shirt and said: "Why do you talk like that! or maybe, Are you still angry with me? and if you are still angry with me then I can't blame you... and Yes, you are right, I am so selfish that I keep my true identity of all of our friends and my every move relying on Benjie's father but I am still trying my best to save Benjie without anyone's help and I believe that we can save Benjie if we just working together as one so please trust me."

After Gun says those words to me, I angrily pull off his hand from my shirt and said: "Believing with you? Are you kidding? I will not trust a person he himself didn't trust the people around him and if you told us earlier before Kaito, Jelai, and I were found out this situation that there was a rebellion happening inside our university against Benjie, hopefully, we still have a chance to change the situation but you chose not to tell us because you're so selfish!"

While Gun and I were arguing in the middle of the table, the other student at the university cafeteria suddenly startled and start staring at us but as Gun and I were arguing and yelling at each other, Kaito quickly stood up to separate the two of us.

"Guys! Stop fighting! What's wrong with the two of you! This isn't the time for us to quarrel." (Kaito angrily scolds me and Gun as he trying to stop the fight between me and Gun.)

"This is all Kevin's fault, he's the one who starts this fight, he's provoking me!" (Gun told Kaito.)

"Me? Rebuking you? I'm just telling you the truth so stop acting like a hero!" (I angrily scolding Gun.)

While Kaito trying his best to separate and stop the fight between me and Gun... Jelai suddenly called us.

"Guys!" (Jelai spoke as she staring somewhere else.)

But at that moment, no one pays attention to Jelai while Kaito focuses on separating and stopping the fight between me and Gun, but because of the situation between me and Gun... Jelai suddenly and quickly smacks my head and Gun's head.

"Ouch!" (Gun spoke as he massaging his head because of Jelai's smack.)

"What's that for, Jelai? why you smack our heads!" (I quiklcy asks Jelai as I massaging my head to get rid of the pain.)

At that moment, while I asking Jelai why she smacks my head and Gun's head... She suddenly pointed something behind our back.

"Look, Benjie's coming this way!" (Jelai scolds me and Gun.)

At that moment, Kaito, Gun, and I have quickly turned behind us and when the three of us turned around, we saw Benjie walking towards us.

"Hey, Guys!" (Benjie yells at us as he walks towards us while he waves his right hand and smiles on his face.)

At that time, while Benjie was twenty feet away from us, I suddenly notice the student information of Joseph, Irene, and Third on the surface of the table.

"Jelai and Kaito, hurry up and hide the student profile information of Joseph, Irene, and Third before Benjie sees it." (I quickly ordered Jelai and Kaito.)

After I said those words to Jelai and Kaito, they quickly picked up Joseph, Irene, and Third's student information profile but unexpectedly as Jelai hurried to get the student information on the table to hide it from Benjie sees it... Joseph's student the information profile was suddenly blown by the wind and carried to the floor where Benjie was walking.

At that time, Joseph's student information profile was suddenly stepped on by Benjie.

"What's this?" (Benjie asks as he acts to pick up Joseph's student information profile on the floor.)

As Benjie act picks up the student information on the floor. Gun quickly picked up the student information before Benjie sees Joseph's student information profile.

After Gun successfully picked up Joseph's student information... Me, Jelai, and Kaito felt relieved.

"Hey, Benjie... What's up? Ha~ha~ha." (Gun asks Benjie with an awkward laugh.)

"What's that?" (Benjie asks Gun as he pointing Joseph's student information profile on Gun's right hand.)

"This? hahaha, nothing, this is just a piece of trash." (Gun told Benjie as he quickly crumbled Joseph's student information profile and put it in his pocket.)

"Ahh okay." (Benjie says as he sits in the chair in front of Kaito.)

After two minutes, as Benjie and my friends taking lunch at the university cafeteria, Benjie suddenly notices something between me and Gun.

"Guys, What's the problem? Are you guys fighting?" (Benjie asks me and Gun as he drinking his Ice tea.)

At that moment, while Benjie asking as he gives us a suspicious stare., Gun and I were suddenly startled and felt goosebumps.

"No, We're not fighting." (Gun stuttering told Benjie.)

"Yeah, Gun's right, how can we fight if we treat each other like brothers ha~ha~ha." (I stuttering told Benjie as I making an awkward laugh while I quickly put my arm around Gun's shoulder.)

At that time, while Gun and I pretending that we're okay in Benjie's front... Benjie's attention suddenly turns to Kaito.

"By the way, Kai, can you come with me to the airport after our class." (Benjie told Kaito while he's eating his lunch.)

"Why are we going to the Airport?" (Kaito asked Benjie as he drank his ice tea.)

"Well, since my stupid father isn't here in the Philippines for an unknown reason, my older brother Terrance will take care of my father's business here in the Philippines." (Benjie told Kaito as he focusing himself on eating his lunch.)

At that moment, as Benjie invites Kaito to accompany him to the airport to pick up Terrance, Gun and Jelas were suddenly surprised and stood up because of what he heard from Benjie.

"Wait! Do you have an older brother?" (Jelai stuttering ask Benjie.)

"Wait! Seriously? Terrance is coming here in the Philippines?' (Gun quiklcy asks Benjie.)

"Yeah, My older brother is temporarily coming home here in the Philippines to take care of our father's business." (Benjie told Gun while he's eating his lunch.)

"Oh... I see that's good news hahaha." (Gun told Benjie as he acting so strange.)

[P.O.V] Jelai Villanueva

After class

"Kai, I will be waiting for you outside our classroom so hurry up and fix your belongings so we can catch up with my older brother at the airport." (Benjie told Kaito.)

"Okay, I will." (Kaito told Benjie.)

At that moment, after Benjie went out of our classroom, I suddenly noticed Kaito's silence and feel uncomfortable as he arranged my belongings inside his backpack.

So I thought to approach ask him about his feelings.

"Kaito, are you okay? It seems like something is bothering you." (I ask Kaito.)

"I hate to say this but I'd rather focus on how we can save Benjie from the new student petition against him than accompany him to the airport to pick up his older brother." (Kaito whispery told me as he focusing himself arranging his belongings into his backpack.)

"Kaito, you don't need to be worry because while you and Benjie are together in the airport... Kevin, Gun, and I will be investigating Joseph, Third, and Irene." (I whispery told Kaito.)

"But I want to help and come with you and our other friends to investigate as well and this is the only way I can think of to pay for my sins with Benjie." (Kaito told me.)

At that moment, after Kaito said words to me, Kevin suddenly approach us and said: "You did nothing wrong to Benjie so just leave the investigation to us and even I said earlier that we have no chance to change Benjie's fate but I will still do my best to save Benjie in the new student petition against him ."

After Kevin say those words to Kaito... Gun suddenly approaches as he pats Kaito's shoulder.

"You want to help us right? so I'm going to ask you a favor." (Gun smirk at Kaito.)

"What is it?" (Kaito asks Gun.)

"You need to accompany Benjie to the airport and if the both of you successfully pick up Terrance,  can you please text me the address where he will stay." (Gun told Kaito.)

"Why should I text you the address where Benjie's older brother will stay? I thought he'll stay at Benjie's father's house?" (Kaito asks Gun.)

"Well, besides of, Terrance has difficulty getting home from the airport... He also hates to stay in his father's house." (Gun told Kaito.)

"Huh? Difficulty of getting home? why?" (I ask Gun.)

"What do you mean by that? Why Benjie's older brother hates to stay in his father's house?" (Kaito asks Gun.)

"It's a long story but it's better if Benjie will explain everything to you, why his older brother needs to be pick up at the airport and why Benjie's older brother hates staying at their Dad's house besides that's a family matter because of that Gun and I had no right to talk about why Terrence didn't want to stay at his Dad's house." (Kevin told Kaito.)

"Yeah, my Ex-friend (Kevin) is right... (Gun.)

After Kevin heard the word "Ex friend" in Gun's mouth, Kevin suddenly react as he quiklcy asks Gun.

"WTF! EX-friend?" (Kevin quickly asks Gun as he feels surprised by what he heard from Gun.)

At that moment, Gun gives Kevina a smirk smile as he ignored Kevin's question and continued talking to Kaito.

"Kaito, You need to accompany Benjie to the airport to pick up his older brother because right now, if Benjie's dad isn't there to help us then we need Terrance's help to change Benjie's fate here in the university." (Gun told Kaito as he smirks.)

[30 Munites later]

ATM 4:30 PM

[Meanwhile in our classroom]

After Kaito and Benjie left to pick up Terrance at the airport, Jelai, Gun, and I decided to resumed our investigation about Joseph, Irene, and Third.

And this time, as we looked at the student profile of Irene and Third... I noticed something strange about Third Alcantara student profile.

"I see ... that's why this person seems familiar to me." (I spoke as I staring at Third's student information profile.)

"Did you find something?" (Jelai asks me as she sitting next to me.)

"Yeah, take a look at the red armband that Third's wearing in his uniform's left shoulder." (I told Jelai as I pointed the photo of Third Alcantara in his  student information profile.)

At that moment, Gun and Jelai were surprised by what they saw Third Alcantara wore a red armband.

"Red armband? which means he's a university student inspector in our university." (Gun spoke as he looking at Third's student information profile.)

"Yeah, you are right but take a look at his student inspector emblematic badge numeral number... it's number one which means he's a student chief inspector of the head of administration here at our university." (Jelai spoke.)

After Jelai says those words, I was suddenly surprised by what I heard from her.

"Wait!! Seriously? but how did you know that he's a high-ranked student inspector? I thought he was just an ordinary student inspector here at our university." (I told Jelai as I feel surprised.)

"Well, I am the class president in our classroom and a working scholar as a taekwondo athlete here at our university and being part of those organizations ... I have a bit of knowledge of other organizations here within our university such as student inspector besides before I joined the taekwondo scholarship program, I first joined the student inspector but I wasn't lucky enough to be part of the student inspector in our university." (Jelai told us as she sighed.)

"But if Third Alcantara is the chief student inspector at our university, why is he creating chaos within our university?... Why did he create those group of rebels student (Vengeance armies) to help Joseph and Irene in their evil plan against Benjie?" (I spoke as I feel confused and frustrated.)

"I think if  we want to know the answer to our question, we need to go to the administration office to ask Third Alcantara about that." (Gun told us with his serious face.)

After a long conversation, the three of us decides to went to the administration office to gather some information about Third Alcantara but the staff of the administration told us that the information of their student inspector private information was quite confidential that's why in the end, we did nothing but to leave peacefully at administration office but unexpectedly, while the three of us decides to find Third Alcantara within the university to confront him, Dianne suddenly shows up and said: "If you want something to someone, you just need to confront that person and enter their world."

"Huh?  What do you mean?" (I ask Dianne.)

At that moment, Dianne suddenly gives me a smirk smile as she looks into my eyes.

"Before the two love birds went to the airport to pick up Terrance, Kaito suddenly text me and ask me a favor to help his childish boyfriend situation that's why I am here coz I have a conceivable way for us to know what Joseph connected to Third." (Dianne told me.)

"What do you mean? What way do you think to help us?" (Gun asked Dianne.)

"Just what I said earlier, If you want something to someone, you just need to confront that person and enter their world and my plan and suggestion are we need someone to join the student inspector just to confront Third Alcantara." (Dianne said.)

"But I can't join in the student inspector because the student inspector staff and the head of administration will not be allowed  someone like me joined the organization because of the bad reconds I had in the guidance office." (I told Dianne.) 

"Me too, because of Benjie and Kevin, I already had a bad record in the guidance office." (Gun told me.)

While Gun and I told Dianne that we can't join the student inspector because we already had a bad record in the guidance office, we suddenly looked at Jelai.

"Hey, wait! Do you want me to join the student inspector?" (Jelai stuttering asks as she pointed herself using his index finger.)

"Yes, you are the only one fully qualified to join the student inspector." (Gun tells Jelai.)

"But based on the rule of being a student scholar at our university, the head of administration will not allow a student to join more than three organizations here within the university because you may have forgotten that I am a class president and a working scholar as a taekwondo athlete but if I have the opportunity to join another organization such as student inspector... My duties in every organization I joined will be more complicated and that is why I am not qualified to join more than three organizations within the university." (Jelai explains to us.)

As we're thinking another way about how and who should join the student inspector to do an inside-job investigation to Third Alcantara, Dianne suddenly spoke up and said "In our gang, Kaito is the only one I can think of, who fully qualified to join the student inspection to investigate Third Alacatara and because of his personality and no bad records in the guidance office, he's the only person I know that fits to join in the student inspector organization."

At that moment, I suddenly smile and laugh so hard because of what I heard from Dianne.

"Yeah, you are right, in our gang... Kaito is the only one who can join the head of administration student inspector." (I told everyone as I felt excited.)

"But the big question is, will Kaito agree to join the student inspector and do an inside-job investigation to Third Alcantara?" (Jelai asks me with her serious face.)
