Gauravi's POV

At the hospital at

almost at the same time

Finally, everyone had left for home and Chachi had stayed with me, dad, chachu and Siddh insisted but who can win against Mom and Chachi?

She made me have the food that mom had sent for me and after giving the medicines to me, she went to take a round of the hospital as she had three patients with severe cases of burns, admitted at the hospital due to some accident.

I was alone for the first time in the day.

The whole day someone or the other kept coming to meet me. Roohi and Vihan came to meet whenever they got free and Mihir... Well, he rarely left.

Even Megha Aunty and Mehul uncle had come to meet me today and I could not even look them in the eyes.

" I am sorry Aunty and Uncle, that day I... " I was saying but Mihir interrupted me.

" It's okay, you don't need to apologize as I did that on your behalf, I have already told them that it was just a prank. You wanted to see my reaction to your prank. " Mihir said. I was feeling very guilty that he had to lie because of me.

" Don't worry, beta, we are used to your dad's pranks. He used to shock us with his pranks. " Mehul uncle said with a smile and Dad smiled. I could see that it was a fake smile and even he could not look into his friend's eyes because dad was guilty of hiding things from him.

" So Gautam and Maurvi, I know it is not the right place for us to talk about all these things but We can't tell you how Mihir was so upset the whole time, and since the day, Gauravi fell off the stairs, he has been asking me to talk to you about fixing the wedding date as soon as possible. Even, we want to have our daughter in our home now at the earliest. I know that you might feel that she is not well and we are only thinking of the wedding, but trust me, Mihir is really after us. " Mehul uncle said.

" I can understand Mehul Bhai, he is madly in love with her, and spent all his time here yesterday, Gauravi and I tried to tell him to go home and rest but then Gautam literally had to scold him to send him back home. " Mom said.

" I can imagine that, So we contacted our Pandit Ji and he told us that there is a very auspicious day for them to get married in 4 days. " Megha Aunty said.

" Four days?? That is too soon. " Dad said immediately.

" I know it is quite soon but then there is no such a good day for two months. Mihir is not ready to wait till then. " Mehul uncle said. Dad looked at Mom and she looked confused.

" We don't have a problem with that, but how would we arrange everything? I am sure you want a lavish wedding and not a small gathering with family and close friends, it can't be arranged in 4 days, we haven't even started doing preparation. We need at least 15 days." Mom asked.

" Don't worry about that, we will make all the arrangements, Ron made all the arrangements for Raj's wedding in one day, we have 4 days. I want a grand celebration this time as people got something or the other to say at both the weddings of the Shah family as both Manik and Mahi got married all of a sudden. This time I don't want to leave any stone unturned. I will call Sujoy and book the entire hotel for the next 6 days. " Mehul uncle said.

" Wait, it's my daughter's wedding too. We will make the arrangements. " Dad said.

" No, you just take care of our daughter and give us your guest lists." Uncle said, and both Uncle and Dad argued as Dad wanted to take responsibility for at least half of the preparations for the wedding. But uncle said that he has Ron to help him and they will manage. Finally, the wedding date was fixed and everyone got very excited and started doing the preparations.

The date for my wedding to Mihir was set, but my mind wandered to the man whom I had met on the trip and I didn't even know when I slipped down the memory lane.

Flashback...

" Hurry up, or I will leave. Then you will be on your own. " He said.

" Coming!! " I said and rushed after him.

We kept walking for hours and I was dead tired by then, and didn't want him to leave me alone there, in the middle of nowhere, so I kept walking behind him, with my head down, oblivious to everything except the throbbing pain in my foot and the fact that I was sweating like hell, I could feel it trickling down my back.

" Perfect, that's the place." He said and stopped abruptly and I bumped into him, he turned to look at me and I moved back immediately apologizing to him.

" Are you alright? How is your neck now? " he asked but I was too tired even to speak.

" Fine, thanks. " I said.

" Good, stay here, while I look around the place. " He said but didn't look at me. And turned to go away.

And I have been dying to rest since afternoon, and I almost fell on the ground and lay down there.

Only my eyes could move at the moment and I noticed my surroundings. It was beautiful... The sounds of chirping birds, beautiful butterflies, hummingbirds, beautiful scarlet hibiscus flowers... It was heavenly. I almost plunged into ecstasy seeing life everywhere. Everything seemed to be buzzing with energy

" Hey, you get up!! " I looked in the direction of the voice and saw him standing there with his hands on his hips.

He looked almost as fresh as he was in the morning, I felt he was as energetic as the jungle around us. His energy was raw and intense as if he carried his field of energies. At the moment I was scared of both him as well as the jungle and still found both of them attractive.

" What? I just lay down? Do we have to go ahead? " I asked.

" We can if you want to. " HD said with a smile.

" As if you have been doing everything I want to do. You have been bullying me ever since we met here." I replied.

" I didn't complain when you bullied us with the help of your dad. Come on get up, your dad is not here to help you or scold me. " He said with a half smile and then he picked up both his and mine bags and went through the trees without a single word.

" Oh, shit!! " I literally had to drag myself to my feet and follow him.

The sounds of water were getting louder and I was excited to go and take a dip in the water. I walked a few more steps and then I froze.

My jaw dropped open in wonderment. A clear stream was flowing there, falling into a deep circular pool, before rolling down the hillside.

The place was like a beautiful picnic place with lots of beautiful flowering plants around the water's edge. The area was filled with the fragrance of those beautiful and vibrant colored flowers.

" Oh, my God!! This place is beautiful..."

" You like it?? " He said from my right side, I turned to look at him immediately with a smile and saw that he was already looking at me with a weird expression on his face.

There was something in that expression that made me conscious of him standing by me, and I got tensed all of a sudden. As if we had something dangerous between us, I didn't know what it was. I looked at him again and was surprised to see that his expression had gone and he looked absolutely expressionless and withdrawn.

" Shall we camp here then? " He asked without looking at me.

" Why not? It is a nice place. "

" I am glad you liked it. Now open some food for both of us while I look around and set a place for us to rest. " He said and turned to go again.

" Right away?? " I asked.

" You want me to consult some astrologer for an auspicious time for it?" He asked another question, raising his eyebrows.

" I meant to say, that I need to take a bath first," I said looking at the water.

" No!!... " He muttered something that I could not hear.
