"Kaelin?" I ask.

"In the flesh, what brings you back to Eland?" Kaelin asks.

"Well, since I'm one of the most wanted criminals in Canada, I, we, need a place to hide. You know? Since the whole governments looking for us." I say.

"Your always welcome here Kali. Finn too. But Kenzie and Zander...they have to be put through a test." Kaelin says.

"What kind of test?" Kenzie asks.

"Well, it's not really a test, but a sacrifice. You have to kill someone." Kaelin says.

"Who?" Zander asks.

"Them. We found them wandering the streets. They were actually pretty easy to catch." Kaelin says.

Then two of his henchman, I'd say they're about 30, take the two victims out into the room.

There's sacks on they're heads, covering their faces.

"How do we have to kill them?" Kenzie asks.

"I don't care." Kaelin says.

Then their masks are ripped off and their identities are revealed.

David and Paige.

"Kali help us!" David yells.

"What's going on?" Paige asks.

"You mean you don't know? Paige we were terrorists. This was my terrorist group." I say.

"Who is this?" Kaelin asks.

"They were with us...when we were in the edge." I say.

"But you can still kill them. It's not like they were your friends. They've been manipulated to obey the government. Unlike you, thanks to me, you can remember your past life." Kaelin says.

"Wait what! What did you do?" I ask.

"I might as well tell you know...anyways, before Nick took your memory away, we gave you a chip, that would block he serum from working..." Kaelin says.

"I have a chip in my brain!" I yell.

"You said you'd rather have a chip in your brain then be with your mom." Kaelin says.

*flashback*

"Kaelin, just do it, I'd rather remember than forget...I'd hate to forget you." I say. "But on the other hand, I'd love to forget my mom."

"I wish you could." Kaelin says.

Then he sticks a huge needle into my head and some kind of metal thing, which I assume is the chip, goes into my head.

"Thanks." I say.

Then I kiss him. I kiss him. I was with Kaelin? Why would I ever want to kiss that?

*end of flashback*

"You okay?" Kaelin asks.

"Yeah...I'm fine..." I say.

I can't let him know I remember. Everything.

"Anyways, so kill them. I don't care if they're your friends. Just do it. I've killed my friends before. Actually, I killed my whole school." Kaelin says.

"I can't." Kenzie says.

"Then I will." Kaelin says.

He holds up a dagger and attempts to stab David. But I run up to him, tackle him to the ground, and hold the dagger up to his neck.

"You were saying?" I ask.

"It looks like you've remembered how to defend someone." Kaelin says.

"You will not kill my friends." I say, pressing the dagger ever so closer to his neck.

"They're not your friends. They're the governments puppets!" Kaelin says.

"They've been into the edge Kaelin, they know what it's like." I say.

"If your not happy with our rules then you can leave." Kaelin says.
