"You know that you can't take away my memories, I can resist, I couldn't before, but now, I can." I yell.

"Well, we'll see about that!" The police officer says. "Clyde and Carl go back upstairs."

"What's your name anyways?" Finn asks.

"Officer Forcibly. My first names Nook." Nook says.

"You wouldn't happen to know Nick Forcibly, do you?" I ask.

"Yeah, actually, I do, he's my brother, my little brother. I was just about to visit him until I got a call saying that a terrorist was attaching this hospital, I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to get Nick someone else to go into the edge." Nook says.

"Well, your out of luck, Nick's dead, we killed him." I say with pride.

"Oh. Well. Umm. Why?" Nook asks.

"Because he was mean, and abusive, and he wiped the memories of all those people who live in the edge. Oh wait, are forced to live in the edge." I say.

"Well, I guess we shouldn't be dwelling on the past when we can be planning the future. Now can we." Nook says.

He takes a roll of duck tape and tapes me and Finn's mouths shut. We wiggle, and squirm, but Nook ends up calling Clyde and Carl back in the room to hold us down. They inject this purple liquid into me and Finn. My vision goes blurry and I know that I'm about to black out, but I make out one more sentence that Nook says, you won't be able to resist this one.

I'm in the basement, I can see myself sleeping, Finn too. But why? Why did this serum... No..... It kicked my soul out of my body. I guess I have to get back in.

The clock that was right beside me is gone, replaced with a timer, it's counting down from 30 minutes, I have thirty minutes, thirty minutes to get back in my own body, and if I don't, my body with die, and I will be stuck as a ghost forever.

"Kali? Is that you?" Finn asks.

"Yeah Finn, it's me." I say.

"Okay good. Do you know, by any chance, how we get back on our bodies?" He asks.

"No, why would I?" I say.

I glance over at the timer, 27 minutes left.

"I don't know, but we have to find a way in less than 27 minutes because if we don't, our bodies will die, and we will be ghosts forever." I explain.

"So, let's try to think of something." Finn says. I walk over to the door, and it easily opens.

"We can always go through this door, and see if there is anything that can help us." I say.

"Sure." Finn says.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Nook says.

"How did you get here?" I ask.

"I'm hooked up to this machine, I can easily get out of this dimension, by the press of a button. Anyways, if you walk out of that door, you can't get back in. Which means, you can't go back into your bodies." Nook says.

24 minutes left. Finn runs to Nook and tries to punch him, but Nook easily doges him.

Careful what you do there. I can lessen your time." Nook says.

He aims a remote at the timer and it goes down to 15 minutes.

"Fine." I say.

Finn walks over to me and whispers into my ear. "Maybe if we can get that remote away from him, we can zap ourselves back into our bodies."

"Good idea." I whisper back.

I talk to Nook as Finn tries to sneak up behind him.

"So, Nook, you know, I'm really sorry that I killed your brother, it was wrong." I say.

I don't really think that it was wrong, I'm just stalling him.

"Oh, you are, well that's not gonna help you get out of here." Nook says.

"Of course not, but you know what will?" I ask.

"No, what?" Nook asks.

"This! Finn now!" I yell.

Finn tackles Nook, but Nook is still holding the remote, he makes the timer go down to 3 minutes, but I grab it out of his hand before he can do anything else.

"Your still not going to get out of here!" Nook yells.

"Oh, sorry, but, we already have." Finn says, he punches Nook several times in the face until he blacks out, he is left with a bloody nose, and a black eye. I aim the remote at Finn.

"You ready?" I ask.

2 minutes left.

"Yeah." Finn says.

I press the green button and a beam of light shoots out of the remote and hits Finn, he disappears. I aim the remote at me, I disappear, but, I see Nook grab the remote and zap himself, just in time.

30 seconds left.

I wake up, Nook is gone, but Finn is awake.

"We made it Kali, we beat that serum, we can resist." Finn says.

"We sure can!" I say.
