This  is an emergency chapter. 

If you have not read the important announcement in the MDC (pinned) then you missing something important. Please read that before reading this. 

So, everyone in the MDC is going crazy and angry which is understandable and rightly so. Chat groups like Graphic stalkers, MDC clubs are being moved to the silly cafe place - where you will find very spam worthy threads like games, that's like spam, although there are some good threads there, like the adult thread - not too bad.

Remember, all the other clubs went though this bullshit, and not only MDC.

So let's go the Positive VS. Negative. I asked @jewels1307 somethings regarding this!

Positive:

- MDC will be more known to people who aren't MDC. I agree this is a good  exposure and we can meet other people, but then again...they can just click on MDC club and look at it? o_o; I guess a lot of people don't?

- More people will use the pinned threads. This is good and all. but not everyone will go though each pages if there's like 20. The last and 1st pages get the more views, but not as much. 

Negative:

- MDC is built on a foundation of designers teaching, fun competitions, showing off their graphics...now that's broken. 

-  Threads will be harder to find. The thing Jewels1307  can do for now is pinned a thread called 'Let's get social' - where we can post our non-shop threads for connecting.

- The cafe will be even more full & busy. Threads will be harder to find if not subscribed.

- MDC main core of attractiveness is the social aspect rather then graphic shops...social aspect of it is what made people stay. Not anymore.  

Other Things:

- Basically shit is going down. We should start bothering wattpad on twitter & facebook etc. #bringmdcback #leaveMDCalone Alot of users already started doing this! Join in! Also, there's threads dedicated to bringing back the MDC...the sad thing is I feel it might not work. :(

- Wattpad is a big ass community...I get they want to be organized but they should at least have the brains to do some user testing/beta/questionnaires/SOMETHING  before jumping on this shit. It may work on one club but may not work with another. DUH. If you did beta on a layout, why not this?

- Wattpad should know that the traffic and to find new threads is on the first page of the MDC club. Lurkers are always looking to find new stuff. Some users aren't subscribed to some threads because they know it will always show up in the 1st page of the club because it's active and popular. Now, they have to subscribe...but then the sub list isn't even big (that's a whole another story) which cuts off their other threads they need.

Jewels1307's personal opinion:

To start with, I think it sounds worse than it is. But I actually think the majority will be good for designers if they give it a chance. Everything will work more efficiently and the club should slow down considerably. It means everyone will have to bump less for a start.

Take hiring for example. You place an advert on the pinned thread, people pm the form and if accepted, get a link to a hidden staffroom. There's no complaining about not being picked because their graphics are better than someone else who was picked. Only the person hiring and other members of the group will know until the shop is opened.

MDC is a club for users to obtain graphics and other media for their stories. It's not and never has been a social club, it's always stated it in the club guidelines, just not enforced as it should have been.Down side for mods, our job will be harder. *shrugs* especially when people start creating spam threads over it. They don't affect wattpad, only how much MDC mods have to do.

 Suggestions & other ideas: 

- I came up with a sub group for all these thread mentioned however Jewels1307 said "it's not currently possible to create sub groups in the way you mean. The Designer Tools thread in MDC has a section called 'Let's get social' that is the best I can do."

So wattpad can't even upgrade the clubs for a better performance? eh...Wattpad is behind technology.
