Stap killing our EYES! (Thread Designs)

For all you thread designers (even cover designers) out there do NOT do this anymore:

You make a pretty looking graphic/html thread but the text is SO hard to read. I see this 80% of the time and it drives me insane, but I'm not angry at you because you guys probably don't notice it or no one told you about it.

Well, hello there! I'm here to tell you about it.

I saw thread designers who made beautiful graphic threads but their text... wanted to make  someone stab their eyes out.

What are threads for? Making them beautiful is one thing but the real reason anyone makes a thread design is to GIVE OUT INFORMATION - that is the TRUE purpose and intention! Now, if you block that information, and it's not legible (not clear enough to read) then how are your requesters and stalkers going to follow your rules? It'd take them extra 5 mins to read your shit then it should have taken them. Later, you complain they don't follow rules.

Here are some examples of illegible thread designs that I seen (DO NOT DO THIS):

01. Having complementary colors as the text and background. For example: Green bg with red text. It's going make our eyes bleed. I will sue you.

02. Having a thread design monochrome but the text blends right with it, and we have to squint our eyes to read it. Its like looking for the exit sign in a dark place, except the exit sign is black too.

03. Links are everywhere. "Examples" link is at the top while "Form" link is at the bottom. Your making your requesters search for it...why? This ain't a treasure hunt. Keep links close by.

04. Small text is bad enough but on top of it, there's a full special OPS of topaz. DUDE. NO. Your making your requesters cry, the topaz makes it harder or even blurry to read. Please stap.

05. The designers who goes for a "Dark theme" but makes the thread design so dark that you have to kiss the screen with your eyes to read it...stop making it harder for us to read, dammit!

06. Your trying to be creative, but everything is hard to follow. You are disorganized with the information. We read your rules before the welcome message because it was placed badly and there's a wall of text that is hard to read plus we don't know what is the next thing you want us to read.

Conclusion: Avoid doing those things above. Try to read the text in your thread design first and see how it goes for you. Form now on, I'm going to call out everyone in Graphic Stalkers and tell them the mistakes I see. You won't know unless someone tells you, right? I used to do that too.
