Four-Thirty Five am

Lucys P.O.V

I sat on the bench and waited for Ruki. It sounded stupid but I couldn't help but hope for him to come.

I was worried. He was not coming and yet for some reason, a little bit of hope remained in me. "Nagashima Resort, you chose to come here the weekend of Christmas?" I let out a small smile. He actually came.

"We will be back before Christmas morning remember?"  I felt someone lift my head up and came face to face with maroon colored eyes. "Rin"

Ruki's P.O.V

I stared at the ticket in my hand and couldn't help but wonder why I had been waiting so long when Lucy was not here. I sighed to myself. She was late, again. I heard footsteps behind me and turned around to see Lucy in tears.

"Ruki-san" I felt the heat come to my face and looked away from her.

"You're late"

"I was here for a while waiting for you. Why were you late?"

"Because I found out the news today." I looked at her again. "Lucy, I'm sorry" The train came and she looked away.

"You don't have to apologize." She picked up her bag and walked on the train. I followed behind her. As soon as we sat in our seats I looked at her. She was hiding something.

"Why didn't you tell me what happened?" 

"Why didn't you tell me you were a vampire?" My eyes widened.

"Lucy-"

"Why?" I guess she was not going to tell me unless I answered her.

"Why would I? Especially when you seemed like you wanted to push everyone away. The last thing you seemed like you wanted to know was that I am a vampire."

"So I had to find out when you bit me?"

"I didn't want that to happen. It was just that your scent had been so strong and sweet that-" I stopped as I had seen her eyes widen. "I'm sorry"

"Stop apologizing for being you." She said before she looked away.

"Are you going to tell me what happened?" She looked at me but her pain had been so strong in her eyes.

"Rin came to talk to me." So that was why she had been in tears.

"What did he say?"

"He told me how much he missed me and wanted me back and when I denied him he asked me if it was because of you so I denied him again and.." She let out a shaky sigh. "He told me that I was a useless slut who wanted to do nothing but play with peoples hearts. He then said he would bring me back home while he started to drag me away from here but I didn't let him. Instead, I fought him and once I got free I saw you and I guess since I didn't want you to notice, I walked toward you. If only I didn't go and speak to him-" I turned her head to look at me.

"There is nothing wrong with you." She blushed again.

"Thanks" One thing I knew was that I was going to get him for what he did. As soon as we returned.

"That little snowman you had some weeks ago, why don't you call him out again?" She nodded before she pulled out her keys and called him out before she held him close.

I wanted to ask her about her supernatural powers as well but knew that it had been the wrong time to ask.
