Ten Minutes Later

As we sat in the cafe Lucy didn't do anything but poke at her cake. I guess she had lost her appetite after talking to Nobu.

I knew that she didn't want to talk about it. No matter the many times I tried she never told me. So what could have been different now? "That flower you saw earlier, do you want to go and buy it now?"

"Sure" She grabbed a to-go box for her cake before we went to the shop.

The Next Night

Lucy's P.O.V

I woke up to hear a knock on my door and sighed before I dragged myself to the door. I looked through the peephole and seen Ruki causing me to glare.

"It's four fifty in the morning, why are you here?"

"I wanted to start an analysis check on the hydrangea."

"Analysis check?...and this has nothing to do with the fact that I was not here today?" His cheeks reddened before he looked away.

"No"

"Um..huh" I opened the door. "Come in, the hydrangea is near the kitchen.

Ruki's P.O.V

I wanted to make sure that Nobu guy or Rin guy didn't get to her. I stared at the plant and noticed that it had been slightly leaning down. "You chose the wrong time to come today, it will be hard to tell if the plant is sleeping or if it actually is homesick." I arched a brow.

"Homesick?" She nodded.

"Since I believe plants can have feelings, I feel like taking this plant away from a place with many plants to it being basically the only plant in here, I feel like it can feel lonely and homesick." I stared at Lucy in surprise. She was right.

"I guess I will be back later." She grabbed my hand as I started to leave.

"Ruki" I looked at her to see her with a faint blush spread across her cheeks.

"You should stay, sunrise is soon and I don't want you to feel like you came here for nothing." So she could be nice. Her blush reddened even more as she noticed my stare. She looked away from me. "Please" Her eyes were full of fear again. More fear than before. She was hiding something and for some reason, I felt like I had no choice but to find out.

"Fine" She looked at me again and smiled.

"Great"
