Shattered

Third grade. Sarah loved to color everything. She colored the walls, desk, and homework papers. She loved it so much that she started to get bursts of excitement when they started drawing. She developed a talent so rare that she nearly left the world behind.

But years later, while Sarah was coloring in her picture of a girl with a sunshine blaster being chased by a laser-eyed robot, would she make the wish.

She was making things all pretty and some jerk came up and made fun of her fabulous art. She cried herself to sleep night after night. Trying to keep all her emotions in one place and letting them out at night.

Her parents knew nothing of this. They would make sure she was fine during the day, but when night fell, Sarah would burst into tears, no matter what. Good day or bad day, she would cry. And nobody did anything about it.

She stayed out of sight most of the time at school after that. She didn't care for how she looked and how she acted. She just didn't want to think about anything at all. So she did it. She made a faulty wish.

Softly to herself she whispered "I wish that I wouldn't be creative." Nothing happened of course. She needed one big that hardly ever got found in life. The first sight of your first crush. Being in, like, third grade, she didn't have a crush on anyone. This wish would only come true years later when she didn't expect anything to happen.

Thank you for reading "Out Of Curiosity". I hope you enjoyed the chapter, sorry it was short, but I had fun writing it. So the chapters might be short like this one as well. That only means, more things to read before the end! :P Leave a comment or a question, and I am sure to reply. To the comments. For any questions look up my book "Ask Me Anything" and there you'll find your answer. Vote, follow, and keep on reading. :P
