* Flashbacks *

??? : hey Emily come over here !

said a boy with blue hair and a big smile , Maybe 6 or 7 years old . Emily is the slightly taller girl despite being same age .

Emily : what did you find Liam ?

Liam : I found our new secret hiding spot !

Emily : where ?

Liam : look around !

They were standing under an old bridge . There was a big field of sunflowers in front of them .

Emily : It's beautiful but this is not a hiding spot .

Liam : It is . No one comes here anymore and look at this .

Liam pointed to a tent he had built .

Liam : and that will be our castle !

Emily : hehe 

Liam : why are you laughing ?

Emily :it's nothing .It's getting late now we should go back home . 

Liam : Fineeeeeeeeeee

Emily and Liam were best friends since they were young . They were neighbors and spent most of their time together . They were always together no matter what .

Since the time passed by Emily started to develop feelings for Liam . She couldn't see Liam as her best friend anymore . She gave Liam hints many time but Liam never understood anything .Liam saw Emily as his sister .

Emily thought that maybe if she waits for a little longer . She wanted to confess Liam about her feelings but didn't have the confidence . She waited for the right time to come . 

The time finally came , when she had made up her mind but it was too late ! Liam already fell in love with her friend (y/n) . Her heart broke into pieces .

she was never felt so sad in her life . It broke her heart every time she saw both of them together but at the same time she couldn't help but smile when Liam was happy with (y/n) . He used to talk about her to emily and ask for tips and ideas to get (y/n)'s attention. 

Gradually Emily got used to the pain and sadness and saw her happiness in liam's happiness . And helped him to get closer to (y/n) .She accepted that in this life she couldn't be with Liam but she wanted him to be happy . So she locked her feelings deep inside her heart .......

*flashback ends*

After 3 years 

Liam : Emily ! we are gonna be late !

Emily : I am coming just a minute !  

Emily kept down the watering can . And looked at her favourite flower , Tulips . 

she still remembers that when she was young Liam would get her different types of tulips everyday .She treasured all of them and took care of them till this day .

Today is the opening ceremony ! All of them turned 18 this year and are now seniors . 

Liam : (Y/n) !!!!!

you : Liam !

Liam hugged you tightly .

you : I Can't breathe ,babe.

Liam lets go of you .

Jacob : We are 18 and you are still acting like a kid .

Liam : You don't know About my happiness .

amelia : why are you happy ?

Emily : well-

liam : I FINALLY TURNED 18 !

Jacob : So ?

Liam : so...After 1 year my parents told me that I can marry (y/n) !

Amelia : marry ?

emily : Liam just can't wait anymore *giggles *

you : well if you are gonna marry me you have to get a job first .

Liam: Job ?

you : yes Job . I will only marry you when you will get a job not before that .

Liam : come on (y/n) let's get married first and I can think about getting job later .

you : nope .

Liam : *puffs his cheeks *your mean .

Emily : *laughs * you guys !

So this was the beginning of a new year and a new story .
