Finally after many days the day of school Festival has finally Arrived . There was a big poster in the entrance of school welcoming all the guests and students . Different types of stalls were set up and decorated with balloons and flowers . Everybody seemed to be in hurry . There were food stalls , desert stalls , magic house , haunted house , handmade craft shops , tea shop and many more . You tried your hair in ponytail to avoid it getting in your eyes . The strong smell of Takoyaki reached your nose and instantly made you hungry . You decided to hold back your hunger and give attention to your work . You put on your apron and pull up your sleeves , ready for work . You and Alex had set up a " Crepe " Stall with some help of nikki and noel .You look at the kitchen counter , Nikki was currently making the batter but the way she was mixing , looked kinda childish and violent at the same time . It seemed like it her first time doing it and she was spilling it all over her . Her speed was just too fast and she is sending the batter flying around . You couldn't help but laugh how cute she looked . Anyway you offered to take her place until she cleans herself . Noel was making the creme and Alex was cutting the fruits in some interesting shapes .

you : hmm he looks very skilled with knives ...

Noel : who ?

You : uh no one . Nevermind .

Alex's pov 

Arghh ! why am I even doing this stuff ? I should be at my home reading a good novel or play a game of chess but no , I just had to waste my time and my day to make some desserts .. I don't even like sweets ! Anyway I couldn't say complete "no " to (y/n) so I decided to say "yes" if not i would have broke her heart and my master would have crushed my heart with his own hands ! I look at (y/n) and saw her talking with some customers about the menu . I went out to grab some strawberries but instead I found (y/n)'s phone inside the strawberry box , she must have dropped it here in hurry . I opened it . No lock ! She is totally stupid ! As I was about to put it back , it started to vibrate . 

" My cinnamon Roll " ??? Who is this ? wait ...lf my guess is right it must be her boyfriend . He is calling her at this time ? must be very important . I smirked as I slipped the phone in my pocket and switched it off . oops looks like (y/n) truly lost her phone forever . Without wasting any time , I grabbed the strawberry box and went inside, whistling  .

The time passed quickly . At the end of the festival , all of the crepes were sold and the customers seemed happy and satisfied . You guys pack up and get ready to leave the school . On your way you brought some Takoyaki and yakisoba . Nikki and Noel brought dangos and handmade kitsune masks . Alex didn't buy anything , he was too busy in reading a novel. When you left school , you felt like something was missing , you reached out for your pocket , it was not there ! You search your bag but it was not there !

Nikki : is everything okay ?

You : It appears that I lost my phone ....

Noel : where was the last place you kept your mobile ?

You : Uhh..in the stall I guess .

Alex : then we should search there , it might be laying around somewhere near the place of stall .

After spending good 20 minutes , still no luck .

You : I lost it !!!! waaaaa !!!

Nikki : aww we will find it somehow  (y/n) .

Alex : now what ?

you : let's go home ...

*time skip *

Noel : You took it , didn't you ?

Alex : ....

Nikki : you are pro at stealing 

Alex : I didn't steal 

Noel : well taking someone's else belonging without their permission is called stealing .

Alex : Shut up . Alex drops the phone in a railway track . 

After few seconds a train comes and crushes the phone , leaving it in small pieces .

Alex : that should take care of it .

Nikki : we have to buy her a new one tomorrow .

Noel : and then we can lure her into the trap ....

The streetlight blinks few times and the three shadow disappears into the corner of the street .

Amelia 's POV 

I was just going through some Emily's belongings , I found a Album , some flower seeds , hairpins and stuff . The funeral is already over . I don't know why but Jacob asked me to search for something uncommon in Emily's belongings . How did things turned out like that ? Emily didn't have any enemies and even if she had why were they so desperate that they had to kill her in the school ? It's messed up . At first That Ren guy ,almost killed Liam and  now Emily is no longer with us . 

As I was moving my hands in the drawer , my hand touched something hard . It was a diary . Emily had a habit of keeping diary , she would write everything that happened in her life in this diary . I flipped over the pages , going through each one of page carefully . She has written a lot of things in it , her wishes , wants , memories , feelings . 

I kept on flipping the pages and reached the middle page , upto know I got a brief description of her life , it seemed like she liked Liam .And after reading few more pages , I finally came into a conclusion . 

She had feelings for liam , but she ended up giving him to (Y/n) . She knew that she would feel sad and heartbroken to see someone she loved go away from her reach , but still she soothe herself knowing that she made two lives happy .

She was truly a selfless person , even I cannot think about doing something like that . She was always a kind girl . I still remember that she used to come to school with lots of cuts on her hands to make us lunches . It was painful but she used to do it everyday to see us smile ....

I called Jacob over

Jacob : Did you find something ?

Amelia : No . But why are you asking me to do this ?

Jacob : look at this .

Jacob shows Amelia the photo that he took when he saw Emily's death body 

Amelia : don't show me this !

Jacob : No look closely ...you see her hand right ? 

Amelia : Yeah why is it yellow ?

Jacob : She wrote something with that yellow stuff ...

Amelia : Looks like "L "

Jacob : what do you think ?

Amelia : Maybe she wanted to write the name of her killer ?

Jacob : No . If she was going to write the killer's name , they would have gotten rid of it .

Amelia : maybe they didn't have  much time ?

Jacob : Isn't It funny that she used yellow liquid out of all .

Amelia : yeah ..that's ..

Jacob : Emily wasn't stupid ...she left a hint for us . And we have to solve this puzzle . We have to do this so that we can find out who killed her .

Amelia : yes we have to , for Emily .
