(first off, I wanna say thank u all so much for all the love and support! you all are the reason that I continue this series! Tysm! Now, onto the chapter!)

[POV: Third Person. (Focused Character: Austin.)]

It felt like such a short nap for Austin, but it was just a feeling. After an hour of sleep, Austin woke up. "Heya, Daniel..." He yawned. No response. "Daniel?" Little did he know, Daniel was gone. Up in the clouds. He rubbed his eyes, then looked up.

 "Dan-"

Austin stopped. He lost all words in the situation. Above him, he saw Daniel, just hanging there. Daniel's hands were bloody, his face pale, and his eyes had lost all color. "D-Daniel?" Austin stuttered. Austin got up, and started shaking Daniel like mad. "D-DANIEL! THIS ISNT FUNNY ANYMORE, WAKE UP!!!" He tried to deny it, but it was no use. Tears started to roll down his face. "N-No, no..." He muttered, his voice shaky. Austin looked over, and saw a note taped to the tree Daniel was hanging from. He walked over to the note, and took it off the tree, as tears streamed down his face. "I can't do this anymore. Stay strong."  The note read. Austin wiped his tears away, but it seemed they wouldn't stop. Austin put the note in his pocket, and looked back at Daniel. "...I'll stay s-strong...he would've w-wanted me to..." he cried, as he wiped away more tears. He looked down, and saw the scabbard and sword on the floor. He put on the scabbard, and put the sword in it. "G-Goodbye, D-Daniel..." he stammered. "I'll m-miss you..." Austin walked a few steps, looked back at Daniel's body, and looked away, wiping more tears from his eyes. He continued walking down the path, trying to do what Daniel would've wanted.
