[POV: 3rd person. (Focused Character: Austin.)]

Austin grabbed a roll of bandage from the side table, and wrapped it around Daniel's arm. He then unchained him from the table. Daniel grabbed the bloody sword, and put it in his scabbard. After that, they both walked out, but not before Daniel took one last look back at 'Red'. Daniel grabbed something on the way out, but Austin couldn't see what he got. Daniel put the thing in his pocket, and continued walking out. They both continued walking down the path, searching for an exit to the hell that was the Outer Bounds Forest, without saying a word. "Thanks for saving me..." Daniel finally spoke out. "Hey, you saved me before, and I thought I would return the favor." Austin replied. "Also, is it just me, or is the sky darker than it was before?" Daniel looked up. The sky was a darker shade of blue. "As if it wasn't already dark enough." Daniel muttered. "It's probably midnight, or NIGHT for these creatures. This place seems to be a never-ending night." "You're probably right. I'm getting tired." Austin yawned. "Is there a place here where the monsters CAN'T get us?" "Probably somewhere where there aren't bushes, monsters ALWAYS seem to come out of bushes." Daniel joked. "Maybe the monsters are in their beds." "I'm just gonna sit here until a monster comes and tries to eat my face. Then I'll run." Austin said, sitting against a tree. "I'm not gonna fall asleep though. It's too risky." "How about I keep watch for monsters while you rest?" Daniel smiled. "Ya sure you don't want ME to keep watch?" Austin asked. "I mean, you were just sliced open a few minutes ago-" "I'LL BE FINE!" Daniel replied, cutting off Austin. "...Ok then..." Austin murmured. He closed his eyes, and fell asleep.

[FOCUSED CHARACTER: DANIEL.]

As soon as Austin fell asleep, Daniel took what he got before out of his pocket. It was a rope. "I'm glad Tomodachi Life Mii's have infinite space in their pockets." He said to himself. He tied the rope into the noose, and stood on a tall tree stump. He tied the noose to the tree branch above him, and put the noose around his neck. "We're never gonna escape." He said. "And the pain won't stop. But this will end it." Daniel took some paper, a pencil, and tape out of his pocket. He wrote on the paper "I can't do this anymore. Stay strong." and taped it to the tree. He threw his sword, and his scabbard on the ground. He seemed reluctant. "Come on, Daniel. Just jump off. It will only hurt for a moment." He kept saying, but never jumped. After some time, he jumped off the tree stump. He choked, and kicked. He tried to get out of the noose. He realized this caused more pain. He realized about how Austin would feel. He realized there was a way out, and he was supposed to find it. "S-Someone...h-help..." he stuttered out. "A-Austin...I-I-I'm...."

"I-I'm s-so s-sorry...." he was able to stammer out. And then, silence.
