HEY READERS & FRIENDS!! 🤍 Welcome back to the ROTG/BTR universe!! If you are a first time reader, welcome to the insanity. Lol.

I am SO PROUD AND EXCITED (so psychotic, even, that I'm writing this note with a huge smile on my face)  to be officially announcing the prequel to my other series!! 🧨🔥

Rules of the Game (Book 1) and Breaking the Rules (Book 2) are stories that I hold SO close to my heart. That series follows Parker Graham, a famous high school quarterback who is struggling with his sexuality, his love interest Miles Holt who certainly isn't struggling with his sexuality, and Parker's cousin, Griffin Miller, who has a lot of pent up rage and family trauma that spills over into Parker's life.

When I first started writing around 2018, it was my DREAM to enrapture an audience with my little world tucked away in San Francisco, out on the football field. And WOW, did that story find an audience! 🤍 To this day, I continue to be floored and so eternally grateful for all of the people that series has reached and touched. My readers are so precious to me, and I truly love & appreciate you ALL.

This short story is partly my love letter to my devoted readers who continue to root for that duology, and it partly feels like something that has to be done. 👀

Roselyn and Forrest kicked up the dust inside their own little fanbase. Truthfully, they were one of my favorite dynamics to write in ROTG/BTR! A lot of people asked for a book about them, and I'm finally ready to deliver, now that I have a solid idea & solid inspiration.

In January of 2025, I plan to release 20 chapters capturing the start of Roselyn and Forrest's relationship. Yes, it'll be straight and cheesy and full of eye-rolling one liners that I just love to write, but there will also be lots of Easter eggs & inside looks on Griffin and Parker's early high school years!

I'm so excited to start writing, and I hope you're ready to start reading. 👏🏻 I'll see you SOON with two brand new POVs...

PLEASE NOTE FOR FTR's: This novel can be read as a stand alone, as it is the PREQUEL (as in, the events in this story happen BEFORE the other two books in the series) to ROTG & BTR. If you'd like to experience the full vibe, the other stories are fully edited, released, & published on my page to read after you finish this one!!

There are points in the story when the characters discuss sports like football or baseball, mention college, & other factually important topics. Unfortunately, I am not a walking Wikipedia, so all of my information comes from Google.

You will notice that there are a lot of characters that fall in a lot of controversial categories that me, as the author, doesn't fall into. With that being said, I do want to represent these categories as well as I can.
