A couple of days later I woke up in extreme pain. Solo had gone for an early morning workout with his brothers leaving me alone with the kids.

I called Solo but it went straight to voicemail. I called Jey next, but he almost immediately declined it. My last resort was to call Jimmy. What if he didn't answer?

He picks up the phone after the third ring.

"Hey Ash I'm at the gym," he says

"Help me," was all I managed to speak

"Ash? What's going on?" He asks sounding panicked

"It hurts," I choked out before the line went dead.

Less than ten minutes later I hear them coming through the front door. I had barely managed to take two steps before almost passing out from the immense pain.

"Shit call 9-1-1," Solo says getting down next to me on the floor. "It's okay Ash, I'm here," he says

"Lani and Kona," I mumble

"Shh don't worry baby, Jey and Jimmy are going to take care of them," I feel myself starting to lose consciousness as the sound of sirens approaches. "Stay with me Ash," he begs, tightly gripping my hand.

Solo's POV

"Ash no," I say, looking down at her unconscious body.

"Are you her husband?" The EMT asks

"Boyfriend," I respond

"You can ride with us in the ambulance if you want," he says as they get her on a stretcher. I walk next to the stretcher as they wheel her into the ambulance, not once letting go of her hand.

The ambulance pulls away from the house and quickly drives with the sirens blaring while the medics work to get her stabilized.

As soon as we reach the hospital, she's immediately wheeled away from me. I was scared. I didn't want to lose the love of my life. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.

I sat in the waiting room filling out a million different forms, not knowing what was happening to her.

"Family of Ashley Roberts?" A doctor says. I stand up and she walks over to me. "She's stable and in surgery to remove the baby from her fallopian tube. Depending on the severity of the damage they may need to take the tube out as well,"

"Is she going to be okay?" I ask

"She should be fine, as soon as she's out of surgery someone will be out there to get you and take you to see her,"

It felt like an eternity, before a nurse comes to get me and take me to her room. "How is she?" I ask

"She's still under anesthesia but should be coming out of it soon. Thankfully we got the baby out no problem and her tube was spared,"

I'm led into a dark room where Ash was hooked up to an IV. She looked so much better than she had only a few hours ago. I sat down on the chair beside her and held her hand.

After about an hour and a half, I see her beautiful brown eyes start to open. "Where am I?" She asks

"You're at the hospital babe. The ectopic pregnancy ruptured and you had surgery to remove it,"

"Where are the babies?" She asks sounding panicked

"Jimmy and Jey got them. Don't worry baby. Just focus on healing,"

She looks over at me, noticing for the first time that I looked like hell. "I'm okay Solo, you don't have to worry about me,"

"You had me so scared Ash. I was afraid to lose you,"

"I'm not going anywhere for a long time. Not unless you do something stupid again,"

"Never. Seeing you pass out in front of me made me realize that life is fragile. It made me realize that you're the one that I want to spend my life with,"

"I'd like that,"

"I'll let them know you're awake. Maybe we can get you out of here tonight,"

"I hope so. I want to go home,"

The doctor comes in and talks to us, thankfully since it was a relatively minor surgery, she could be released in about an hour, once all of her discharge paperwork had been complete.

"Jey's going to pick us up," I say

"You didn't drive here?" She asks

"I rode with you in the ambulance, not letting go of your hand until they made me at the hospital,"

"You know you havent let go of my hand since I woke up either,"

"I was holding it even when you were still knocked out from the meds,"

She looks over at me again and smiles, "I love you Solo,"

"I love you too Ash,"

The moment came, it was finally time to get out of the hospital and get home to see the kids. The nurse wheeled Ash to the car as I walked beside her, still not letting go of her hand. Jey was parked out front, as soon as he saw us coming out, he gets out and opens the door, helping me get Ash situated in the backseat.

"You good?" Jey asks before shutting her door.

"Yeah, I just want to get home and see the kids," she says

"Don't worry, they've been taken care of. They're outside playing with Jimmy somi could sneak away without Lani wanting to come too,"

Ashley's POV

It felt good to be home. Jey and Solo helped me out of the car and I slowly walked in the house.

When I got inside, the smell of food filled my nose and I realized just how hungry I was. I walked into the kitchen to see Jimmy cooking dinner and the twins sitting in their high chair snacking on puffs.

"Mama," Kona says loudly

I kissed the tops of their heads before sitting down at the table. Solo sat down next to me and smiled. "I think they're happy you're home,"

"I am too. I'm starving. I haven't eaten today,"

"Don't worry I'm making enough for all of us," Jimmy says

"Thank you, for everything. You guys are the best uncles ever,"

"Honestly, I loved taking care of them. Even if just for a bit. It makes me want my own kids one day," Jey says

"You'll make a great dad. Seeing you with Lani melts my heart. She adores you,"

"Speaking of kids. How long do you want to wait until we start trying again," Solo asks

"Well I can't have sex for probably 4 weeks because of the surgery. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I need to heal first babe,"

"I know, I just wanted to see what you thought. Sex is the last thing on my mind right now. Making sure my beautiful girlfriend is taken care of and not hurting is my top priority,"

"Speaking of that you got my pain medicine right? They want me to take it when I go to bed."

"Yes baby, after you eat I'll help you get ready for bed and give you your medicine,"

Jimmy puts a plate of pasta down in front of me, "Here you go Ash," he says

"What about the babies?" I ask

"Theirs is cooling, I'll cut it up in a bit. Focus on you Ash, I've got it under control,"

I turn around and watch as Jimmy gives them their plates and try not to laugh when they stick their hands into the pasta, by the end of the meal, the babies had sauce everywhere and there was more pasta on the floor than they ate.

"I thought you had it under control," I tease

"I do. Nothing a bath won't fix," Jimmy says

"I can give them a bath and clean up," I say

"Ash, you need to take it easy. We can handle it," Jey says

"Just make sure Solo helps you with the bath. I don't want them to drown, get burned or freeze,"

"Baby I love you but you got to trust them. You know they're not going to do anything to hurt them," Solo says

"Yeah come on Ash, have faith in us," Jimmy says

"Sorry, I'm just used to being apart of bath time,"

"How about if I give them a bath in our room while they clean up. That way you can still be involved," Solo responds

I thought about it for a second, but I knew that I wasn't going to be able to stand sitting on a hard surface for a long period of time. I needed to lay down and take my medicine.

"I need to lay down, I'm starting to hurt a little bit," I say

Solo carefully picks me up and carries me to our bedroom, gently laying me on the bed. "I'll be back with your medicine in just a minute," he says

A few seconds later, he comes back into the room with a bottle of water and my medicine. I quickly swallow the pill, making a face at the nasty texture of the pill.

"If you need anything let me know," he says

"When the babies are asleep will you cuddle with me?" I ask

"Of course, let me help my brothers get everything cleaned up. If you're still awake, I'll bring the babies in to say goodnight,"

I nod, "I'm sleepy, I probably won't be awake,"

"Get some rest Ash. I'll come check on you later,"

As soon as the light is turned off, I cuddle with his pillow, the comforting smell of his cologne almost instantly makes me fall asleep
