Scarlett's POV

"It's only day one of the grand magic games, and already these battles have us on the edge of our seats! Right now it's Blue Pegasus's Ren vs Mermaid Heel's Arana!" An announcer yelled.

I looked out into the stadium watching the fight. To everyone else I looked as if I was watching the battle intensely, recording every moment and filing the data into the depths of my mind. Usually they would be right but the truth is... I let out a sigh. I am really bored. These people are complete novices, how did they even get in this tournament? I ended up just tuning everything out and instead started thinking about more important stuff.

I was suddenly I was snapped back to reality when the one named Olga one-shot One of the Quattro Cerberus wizards.

"Oh wow! that guy's got some flashy moves huh? Don't you think huh!" Mila said practically bouncing off the walls.

"Mila did you drink coffee again? I thought we told you to stay away from that stuff." Rico said irritably.

"It was you wasn't it flame-for-brains!" Bitsy accused Jay.

"What?! I didn't do a thing! I'm inno-" Jay suddenly stopped, due to the fact his mouth was suddenly stuffed with carrots.

"Oh wow! Oh wow! He's singing huh! He's so cool don't you think huh!" Mila said excitedly.

"The coffee has gone to her head" Rico said covering her ears, not able to bare the horrible noise ringing in the air.

"The final match of the first day is going to be! Fairytail B's Mystogen. Vs Lamia Scale's Jura!" The announcer yelled catching my attention.

"Hey aren't those the guys who are supposed to be super strong?" Bitsy said, pausing from her current activity which was shoving carrots down Jay's throat.

"Oh wow! This will good huh? Really nice huh? Sooooooo Fun! Fun!!!! Fun!!!!!!" Mila said excitedly with wide eyes and a huge childish grin.

Mystogen started racing towards Jura only to be knocked back by a large rock pillar. Jura then continued to send many more rock pillars at Mystogen, who swiftly dodged them quite easily. Mystogen sent his staffs flying towards Jura landing in a circle around him.

"Five layer magic circle, mystic sword." Mystogen chanted calmly.

A magic circle appeared above Jura producing a ray of energy shooting down on him. Then another appeared above that, and another, until there were five stacked magic circles. A cloud of dust protruded in the stadium dissipating to reveal a completely unphased Jura who quickly sent a rock fist towards him. However I can't help but feel as though Mystogen is holding back. Mystogen quickly created a three layer magic circle that allowed him to deflect Jura's attack back at him. However before it could reach Jura it was redirected back towards Mystogen once again, hitting with a hard blow. Mystogen grunted and stood back up, stumbling a little. Then he got on all fours and crouched down.

"Meteor." he said as a golden magic circle glowed below him. What is this power!? I felt an incredible amount of magic energy coming from his body he became a flash of yellow as he raced around the stadium at an incredible speed. That's a completely different kind of magic! I've never seen anything so fast! He sped towards Jura who quickly put up a rock wall, but Mystogen maneuvered around it, and started bouncing around the stadium and shooting through the air, dodging all of Jura's attacks, seemingly at the speed of light. Jura quickly sent out a rock, bashing Mystogen in the head. However as he was falling he said something I couldn't hear, and seven lights appeared in the sky. One by One they each turned into golden magic circles, all connected by a single line.

Mila's POV

"Oh wow! Oh wow! so pretty! don't you think huh?" I said, my eyes wide and sparkling.

"He must have drawn the circles while he was dodging Potato-Man's attacks." Bitsy said with interest.

"Did you just call him Potato-man!?" Jay laughed clutching his stomach and pointing his finger at Bitsy.

Bitsy grabbed Jay's outstretched finger clutching it tight in her fist.

"His head looks like a potato, Moron." Bitsy growled in a low voice.

"Oh yes, of course, being the crazy vegetable lady you are, you must know all about potato-heads" Jay said smugly.

"You little! What did you just call me!" Bitsy yelled quietly trying not to catch Scarlett's attention.

"A crazy vegetable lady" Jay taunted back. Bitsy squeezed hard on the finger she had clutched in her hand, crushing it as Jay whimpered in pain.

"Say that again, I dare you." Bitsy said evilly, knowing she had won.

"nothing!" Jay cried in a desperate voice as Bitsy gave Jay's finger one last squeeze before letting it go. Jay quickly clutched his hand pulling it as far away as possible from Bitsy. Jay attempted to nurse his crushed finger back to health but he only ended up causing more pain. Luckily for Bitsy Scarlett was distracted by the match and hadn't noticed her violent behavior.

Scarlett's POV

"May the seven stars bring judgment upon you! Grand Chariot!" Mystogen chanted. The circles Mystogen drew in the sky started glowing and spitting large shards of light. Jura created a giant rock statue and the arena was engulfed in an electrifying dust cloud. The stands were filled with a harsh wind, whipping my hair back, although I wasn't bothered in the slightest.

The dust cleared to reveal Jura practically unharmed, Jura and a calm Mystogen. Suddenly Mystogen got into a strange pose. He slowly brought his arms together and I felt an incredible magical pressure.

"True heavenly body magic! Senma!" A swirl of dark purple and black clouds appeared in the sky, and a sense of foreboding washed over the audience. Jay and Mila clutched each other and whimpered in the corner.

"No way! that guy is almost as good as you Scarlett!" Jay squawked, shivering in fear. While Bitsy nervously munched on carrots in the corner.

"No your overreacting." Rico said calmly standing next to me.

Jura looked afraid and concerned as the cloud covered the entire stadium and a large chunk of the town. The other competitors all seemed to have wet their pants, except for the fairytail teams who seemed shocked , scared, and smug all at once.

Suddenly Mystogen froze and the huge swarm of dark purple cloud faded away. Mystogen clutched his mouth and made a few incoherent noises.

"The inside of my mouth! ... It's on fire!" Mystogen wheezed out. I noticed a soft pink glow coming from his wrist, but before I could analyze it further Mystogen fell to his knees, groaning in pain. The audience started to 'boo' and Mystogen started rolling on the ground laughing uncontrollably.

We all sweat-dropped even me. Mystogen got into many strange positions all while laughing, until he stuck his arm in the air and with a surprisingly high-pitched noise colapsed right there.

"Huh!?" the audience and Jura himself said in shock and confusion. I looked over at fairytail to see them all go pale, and make weird noises.

"And Jura get's the last laugh and the win!" the announcer joked. Jura just stood there looking shocked.

"You done good!" An elderly woman I believe was his guild master yelled from the stands.

"Uh... You sure about that old hag?" he said still shocked from the unexpected turn of events.

"well that's a wrap for the first day! Let's see how the teams are sizing up on the score-board." The announcer said. I looked up and as expected we were in first place.

We filtered out of the arena and headed for the hotel. When we arrived master was already there waiting for us.

"Jay, Rico, come here." Master demanded. Jay and Rico nervously walked towards master both shivering a little. Master placed his hands on their heads, making Jay shut his eyes tightly, and Rico flinch.

"You have done well." Master said. A sigh of relief escaped their lips as master continued.

"I expect similar results for the rest of the competition. You are dismissed." Master said.

Jay and Rico quickly moved away from master and we all went upstairs.

Jay's POV

I traveled up the stairs to see our three rooms, before I could say a word Scarlett walked into the first room and shut the door.

"So then I guess-" I started

"See ya." Rico said calmly as she shut the door to the second room.

"Well that leaves us two, come on Mila." Bitsy said, pulling Mila over to the last room.

"Yay! a sleepover huh! yay!" Mila cheered as Bitsy sighed irritably.

"Hey what about me?!"I yelled. Bitsy turned around.

"Go share with Rico or something!" Bitsy replied back.

"No way that room is mine, you guys go share with Rico!" I argued

"Oh my! Oh my! A sleepover with Rico too huh! ya!" Mila shouted.

"Jay I am a lady, I require my own space." Bitsy back.

"Exactly you guys are girls I can't share with a girl!?" I yelled

"Well that's unfortunate." Bitsy said as she closed the door behind her.

  I reached for the doorknob but felt a pain shoot through my hand and I remembered my finger was crushed. I walked over to Scarlett's room and knocked. Scarlett opened the door and stared at me blankly.

"my finger is messed up..." I said quietly. She opened up the door the rest of the way and I walked inside taking a seat on the sofa. She grabbed my hand and examined it before a soothing red glow emitted from her hand and with an audible crack my finger felt normal again. I stood up and went to leave but then remembered I didn't have a room.

"Bitsy and Mila took the last room and they won't let me have it." I complained. Scarlett turned and looked at me blankly, and said-

"Then go share with Rico" and closed the door in my face.

#1 When Scarlett was bored she was thinking about strategies for the upcoming battle royal the fifth day. In fact she is a brilliant strategist, and many of her guild-mates claim she's genius.

#2 When Mila drinks coffee she gets extremely hyper. Her teammates can tell she's hyper when she starts saying "huh!" And "Oh wow!" A lot.

#3 Bitsy has an overwhelming love for vegetables, especially carrots.

#4 Bitsy Shattered the bone in Jay's finger.

#5 Mila is like a little sister to Jay and vise versa.

#6 Scarlett was kinda disappointed with the outcome of Mystogen's match she really wanted to see that Senma spell
