Hello Everybody and welcome, to the next chapter of Ouroboros! Before we begin it is important to note that I do not own fairytail or any of its characters, I only own my OCs. Scarlett's POV

   "Next up is the battle part of the contest, one member from each team will participate in a match, but this isn't a tournament setup, it's the game's organizers who decide who will be fighting in the battles." One commentator said.

   " I'm sure they'll set up some spectacular displays of magical skills." Another commentator said.

"I just received the lineup so we'll find out just how spectacular those will be!" The first commentator continued. "Our very first match is between Fairytail A's Zodiac user Lucy Heartfilia against Ouroboros's second in command Jay Varius!" The commentator screamed.

  I must admit they called us in sooner than I expected, It seems we made quite the impression. Fairytail is quite unfortunate, first Rico tormented that Gray boy, now Jay will destroy this Lucy girl. I pity them. I turned towards Jay and looked him dead in the eye "Don't loose" I plainly stated. 

   Bitsy briskly turned to Jay "If you loose master will flip, I hope you know that!" she warned.

   Jay turned around to face her "I know, don't worry cutie has nothing on me."

   Bitsy yelled back "I wasn't worried stupid! I was trying to ensure our victory!"

   Jay just laughed and jumped down from the balcony, Gracefully landing in the arena below.

   "Hey, I'm not done with you get back here! I'm serious you know!" Bitsy yelled frantically.

   "Bitsy." I said in a monotone voice. She quickly stopped shouting threats at Jay and brought her attention back to the arena.  

Jay's POV

   I slowly walked toward the center of the arena, the crowd cheered loudly, excited for the upcoming match. I turned my gaze towards the girl walking towards me. I frowned "It's such a shame." I said in disappointed tone.

   "Ouroboros has messed with the wrong guild, you hurt Wendy and Carla just to get our attention, and in the last game you focused more on stopping Gray then winning." Lucy said gritting her teeth.

   "I don't know what your talking about cutie, however that teammate of yours was weak, he had it coming." I said with a shrug

   "Don't you dare talk about Gray like that! You don't know him! You have a lot to answer for!" she yelled back.

   "Calm down cutie you're digging your own grave, you're just making the master angry, It would be a waste to kill a cutie like you. And to be honest I'd rather not ave too, I don't like hurting ladies. " I said with an exasperated sigh. she glared at me "oh my, that's a scary look my dear, you look better when you're smiling." I said. 

   "Competitors step foreword." The pumpkin man spoke. "This entire arena will be your battlefield, this is one on one, your time limit will be thirty minutes."

   "I'm not loosing to you." Lucy sneered.

   "If you can knock out your opponent or make them forfeit within the time limit you win! I want a good clean fight. Now let's rumble!" The pumpkin man exclaimed.

   Lucy pulled out a key and chanted "Open gate of the golden bull Taurus!" Suddenly a giant cow man manifested before me yelling "Moo!" and slamming a giant axe into the ground I swiftly jumped out of the way. "Open gate of the scorpion Scorpio!" a scorpion man also appeared "wicked! It's a party! Sand buster!" A sand tornado shot out of his tail and quickly made it's way towards me I easily dodged, a graceful and flawless dodge. "Now Taurus let's kick things up a notch!" Lucy ordered. "Moo! Can do!" The cow man replied. He drew back his axe and leaped towards me. "Ya man you got it, let's go!" the scorpion man called back. "Moo! Sandstorm axe!" The cow many called out his attack. when his attack hit the ground multiple giant sand twisters appeared throughout the arena ripping through the air, shaking the very stadium itself, sand filled the arena and it was impossible to see what was going on. "Thanks guys! I heard Lucy say in a happy tone. The audience was roaring with cheers, the announcers were all commenting on how strong she was. She's done well to come this far but now it's my turn. The cloud of dust quickly dissipated revealing myself standing there completely unphased with a blank look on my face.

   "No way, How did you survive that!" she said frantically. I only looked at her with a bored expression on my face.

   "Crush her." a voice whispered in my ear. "Understood." I whispered back.

   "Open gate of the giant crab Cancer!" Lucy quickly summoned a crab man. "The master barber's in the house baby." The crab man said. He lurched at me with his scissor hands and I dodged I went behind Lucy and he was about to hit her with his attack but he quickly dissipated. 

   Suddenly the temperature started rising, "Sorry cutie, but it's my turn now." 

   "No mercy!" a deep voice hissed in my ear. All of a sudden the entire surface of the arena floor burst into a dark orange hell fire that reached the clouds. Lucy let out a blood curdling scream of pain. 

   "Behold the blazing hell-fire that scorches the earth! WELCOME TO MY FURNACE!!!!!" I said with a sadistic laugh. My eyes glowed a demonic red, and I laughed, an evil and tainted laugh. I could hear her gulidmates screaming her name in the distance. When I extinguished my flames there was only an unconscious and horribly burnt Lucy, who was clearly struggling to breath. Blood dripped from the socket of her now bloodshot eyes. Blood was also dripping from her mouth, creating a large red puddle around the now unconscious Lucy. I turned my back on her and slowly started walking away. It is finished...

   "Wait!" I heard a voice call out. Impossible. "I'm not done yet I can still fight!" I sighed and turned my head to look at the blond girl. She was barely standing, and covered in blood, entire patches of skin were burnt away exposing bone and muscle. A sole look of pure determination and anger adorned her face. I turned back and continued to walk away towards the exit.

   She growled "I CAN STILL FIGHT!!!" just give up. I continued walking. "Gemini!" it's futile "Oh stars far and wide that embody the heavens, by thine radiance reveal thy form." What?!  I turned around to face her to see her on her knees pressing her hands against Gemini's. "I Implore tetra biblos, eternal ruler of the stars above I ask that you lend your power to me so that your unafraid rage flows." How is she still fighting? "open the raging tumultuous gate."A strong yellow glow emanated from her and Gemini "with all 88 heavenly bodies. shining!" Suddenly everything around me disappeared. I felt like I was in space. Surrounded by multitudes of colorful planets in a starry sky I was left with a sense of awe.  " Gerono metria! The planets gathered around her and shot out like shooting stars filling the stadium with bright lights. The power I could feel coming from the spell was incredible. Soon enough the entire stadium was swallowed in a bright light.

   "Finish her..." a whisper echoed in my mind.

   When the light faded what the people saw below was shocking. Jay stood right behind Lucy a blade made of fire plunged through her back. Her eyes widened and then closed. I yanked my blade out of her back and she dropped to the ground, motionless. The audience was silent and I once again, started walking towards the exit not even looking back to see if she was still alive. 

   "Stop right there!!!" A voice I didn't recognize commanded in a tone I can only describe as terrifying. "You will pay for what you've done today" I didn't stop or even flinch I just kept walking.

Scarlett's POV 

The whole of Fairytail team A quickly leaped down from their balcony to support their friend. There's no point she's already dead. They quickly ran to Lucy and attempted to determine her condition. After a few seconds they all got looks of pure anger and hatred. "Stop right there!!!" a pink haired male spoke a shadow covering his eyes. But Jay just kept walking as if he didn't hear anything. Suddenly the pink haired one revealed glowing red eyes like Jays but different. They were filled with a burning anger stronger than anything I'd ever felt. That boy, he posses the rage of a dragon... "You will pay for what you've done today." was all he said.

#1 When she heard the match-up Scarlett had no doubts that Jay would win, because whenever she had to do a team job she went with Jay. So she knows Jays abilities better than anyone else and has lots of faith in him.

#2 Jay was a little upset when he heard he'd be fighting Lucy because he didn't want to mess up her face.

#3 Jay thinks that if Lucy wanted to she could run a successful circus using her celestial spirits.

#4 Jay was a little afraid of the spell Lucy was casting and was quite impressed that she could cast it.

#5 Jay purposely missed Lucy's vital spot when he stabbed her.
