I Had it and Then I Lost it

I sat down on a plush, red-velvet chair in the middle of the Suoh's sitting room. "So you would like to know about my son? And why is that?" I sighed and shook my head at him, running my fingers along the edge of the file Kiyomi had given me. "Aren't you the least bit concerned about your only son, Mr. Suoh? The only successor you have and possibly the only one you can really talk to, the person who makes everyone happy before even glancing at himself! Even you, the fine business man you are, should know when to put down the pen, close the cellphone, and spend time with your son, who might I add, is the only real family you have. Be a dear and look at this file for me?" I handed it to him without a word. He was shocked. "You aren't allowed to speak-" I interrupted him and laughed. "This may or may not be a matter of life and death and you're worried more about a registered officer disrespecting you? I am allowed to speak to you that way because of my status. In society, business and occupation wise, I am your equal and you will look at that file. I didn't come here to be your friend, Mr. Suoh. I came here so I could help your son because you obviously can't be bothered."

Kyoya's POV

He was talking in very
business-like terms while also maintaining his character and expressing his dislike for Tamaki's after at the same time. "Astounding." I mumbled. His eyes, dark brown and mischevious, glanced at me before returning to Tamaki's father. Mr. Suoh's face contorted into confusion, slowly shifting to surprise and disgust, and then reluctant understanding. "Very well, Officer Shiro, fin my son and I will pay you a hefty sum." I heard him mumble after a while. "Forget about the money already!!!" Takumi shouted, shooting up and slamming his hands down onto the desk. "I can't stand it! I can tell the only reason your asking me to bring him back is so that you won't look bad when I alert the media!" Mr. Suoh looked startled. "That's what I hate about rich families. The father is too busy working, the mother is always away or trying to please the father, the children are forgotten and left alone to drown in their parents' greed without being taught how to swim... It's absolutely dispicabke." His voice slowly died to a mumble. "I won't accept your payment. I'm bringing Tamaki back whether you care about him or not so he can face you himself." I like this side of him. Very assertive and commanding. This must be what he's like when he's working. I smirked at Tamaki's father before announcing the time. "Yeah, we're late. I completely lost track of time." He smiled at me.

Takumi's POV

I nodded to K yoya and bowed to Tamaki's father before grabbing the file. "Thank you for allowing me o have this conversation with you, Mr. Suoh. I'm sure we can work out an agreement amongst your various and many problems and issues. Have an amazing remainder of your evening." I told him suavely.
