Chapter 7
"So." The twin on the left, Hikaru Dimi assumed, started.
"Your going to draw portraits?" The other twin, Kaoru, asked.
Dimi nodded. "The idiot came up to me and didn't let me say no." She said, pointing at Tamaki.
"Alright everyone, I suggest we get ready to open." Kyoya said. "Tamaki will announce Dimi at the start of the club."
Everyone nodded, and Dimi headed over to one of the faraway tables that she assumed wasn't going to be used. Turning towards the door, she watched as it opened, and rose petals flew out onto the girls walking inside.
"Welcome ladies!" The seven boys said together.
"I have an announcement to make before we all settle down!" Tamaki said, getting the attention of the girls. "As some of you know, there's a new student here under the scholarship. He has so graciously agreed to draw portraits to your requests!"
The girls looked at Dimi, and she already could tell she wanted some of the girls to be drawn with their favorite host.
"Now that that announcement is aside, let's start." Tamaki said, some of the girls swooned, looking excited.
Hosting hours started, and Dimi was sitting at the table, messing around with her pencil.
"Um, can I request something?" A girl asked, causing Dimi to look up at her.
"Of course," Dimi said with a smile, "That's what I'm here for right? To draw your pretty face?"
A light blush covered her face, and she nodded. "Yeah. Could I maybe be drawn with Tamaki? I don't care about the details, though if I could be a princess?" She trailed off, looking away shyly.
"So you want me to draw you as yourself?" Dimi asked, she stood up and lifted the girls chin slightly. Though Dimi was shorter than most of the Hosts, she was still a bit taller than most of the girls. "Because all I see here is an elegant princess." She made her voice lower, smoother. If people though she was a boy, then she may as well flirt with as many girls as she could.
"W-well..." The girl's blush was deeper now, and she just nodded.
"I'll get right on that." Dimi said, quickly turning around and sitting in the chair, grabbing her sketchbook. "It may take a while, so you don't have to watch." Slightly shifting her gaze to look into the girls eyes, she smiled, "And don't worry, I would never forget a beautiful face like yours."
"A-Alright." The girl said her blush deepening, then she headed away.
As Dimi started drawing, she felt gazes on her, and she looked up, her blue eyes meeting with Kyoya's calculating onyx eyes. Dimi smirked, then looked back down at her drawing.
Throughout the club hours, Dimi got a couple more requests, she accepted them, while flirting with one, or two, or all of the girls that came up to her. Though many requested to be drawn with one of the hosts, there were some that wanted to be drawn with friends, or alone.
Dimi was working on her third picture when she heard he girls start to leave, and the hosts starting to clean up. She set down her sketchbook and stretched her hand, getting out cramps.
"You did pretty well for your first day." A voice said from behind her. "I think you may steal some of the other hosts cliants. If you become a host yourself of course."
Dimi looked over her shoulder to see Kyoya. "And what makes you think I want to be a host?" Dimi asked.
Kyoya looked at her, his eyes glinting. "Those art supplies don't pay themselves you know."
Dimi couldn't help but chuckle. "You know, when I first met you, I had a feeling you were a scheming type of person. But using art supply costs against me? I'm hurt." Dimi frowned, and her eyes showed mocked sadness, though she knew he couldn't see them, now that her bangs were in the way. "Besides, even if I were a host, girls wouldn't want to be seen with me, I mean, it's not like I'm a hot hunk of meat. And won't my drawings pay off the supplies?"
"I doubt many people will pay much for a drawing."
"Well, I don't want to be a host, and it's a good thing, because I don't look like a host."
"Maybe we can change that!" Tamaki exclaimed,w asking up from behind Kyoya and up to Dimi. "Maybe if I just moved..." He reached towards Dimi's bangs and pushed them aside. Dimi's ice blue eyes met Tamaki's shocked indigo eyes.
"What?" Dimi asked.
Tamaki pulled back and raised his hand, "Hikaru, Kaoru." He said, snapping his fingers.
The two appeared behind him, saluting. "Got it boss!" They exclaimed. They ran up to Dimi and grabbed her arms.
"W-What?" Dimi asked, caught off guard, was she being kidnapped? As she was being dragged away, she heard Tamaki command some more things, but she didn't have a chance to hear, due to being pushed into the changing room. She was handed a bag with some clothing in it.
"Change!" The twins said, walking up to her with hands outstretched. "Change, change change!"
"Once you two get out." Dimi said sternly, looking at the two. She saw them take a step closer and sighed. Walking up to them, she grabbed them by their ties and dragged them out. "Nothing against you, I just like my privacy." She saw them glance at each other and she could swear she heard a faint ding of lights. She just pushed the sound aside and walked back into the changing room.
She quickly took off her hoodie and jeans, placing them neatly on the ground. Then she took off her black undershirt, placing that on top of the hoodie. She grabbed the white button-up shirt and slid on the sleeves, looking towards the mirror as she started to button it up.
She wasn't curvy, like most girls were, flat as a board, and had some muscles, to her, she looked more masculine than feminine, though there were still some feminine parts about her, like her elbows and knees were much rounder and smoother than a male's and she had a slight hourglass figure, though it's not that noticeable at first glance.
What would grab most people's attention would be the bandages that were wrapped around her chest, going up slightly onto her left shoulder and stopping just above her belly button. Sure, she probably didn't need it by now, it has been over 11,000 years since the incident, and it's all just a scar now, but she still couldn't bring herself to look at it. Not at the large scar that reminded her of her childhood, reminded her that her life right now isn't normal, even for those of her race.
Dimi clenched her fists and quickly buttoned up her shirt, covering the bandages from her view. She quickly slipped on the black pants, and the light blue suit jacket. She grabbed the tie and looped it around her neck, tying it neatly around her neck.
Looking back at the mirror, she moved her bangs neatly out of her eyes and looked at herself. She didn't look half bad.
Placing her old clothes in the bag, she pulled aside the curtain, looking out to see all the hosts waiting.
"Alright. I've changed. What now?"
Tamaki looked at Dimi, and then he squealed, though t sounded more inhuman than anything. He ran up and picked her up, hugging her.
"Daddy thinks you look amazing!" Tamaki exclaimed.
Dimi squeaked, mostly out of suprise. She tried to pull away from him, but one arm was stuck between her side and his chest. The other arm wasn't enough to pull her away. She felt someone grab her jacket's collar, and lift her away from Tamaki, who stopped and blinked.
Dimi was placed back on the ground and she looked back at who saved her, seeing the tall being known as Mori. "Thanks." She muttered, then turned back to look at Tamaki, taking a step back as she met face to face with the twins. she let out another squeak of suprise.
"Did you just-" Hikaru stared.
"Squeak?" Kaoru asked.
Dimi felt her cheeks warm up slightly. "N-No!" She exclaimed, though she knew they didn't believe her.
"Boss. We have to keep him." They said, looking back at Tamaki.
Tamaki smiled, "Of course! From today on, Mr. Kisaki, you are now a host!"
What have I gotten myself into?
