Chapter 22

The weekend arrived fast, and Dimi and Simion were walking back from the supermarket, despite Simion saying he could just drive there. Dimi just said she didn't want to cause too much attention.

"I can't believe you managed to sneak this past me." Dimi said, looking at the case of beer Simion was holding, "Much less convince the cashier you were 21."

"Hey, I bet you had to convince someone you were 21 in order to rent that apartment." Simion said.

"Yes! But that was something innocent! Not buying beer!"

Simion just stuck his tongue out, and look at Dimi with a blank face, then his attention was pulled somewhere else, towards the apartment.

Dimi looked towards where she was looking and sweatdropped. "Don't tell me." She muttered, seeing three limos parked in front of her apartment complex , and a group of familiar boys talking, and a girl who looked like she wanted to be anywhere else but there.

"Alright men! It's just like the time we went to Haruhi's place!" Tamaki exclaimed "Don't do anything that would warrant Dimi to kick us out!"

"Well, I'd say it's a but too late for that." Dimi said, placing a hand on Tamaki's shoulder and squeezing it. He tensed and looked behind him, seeing a dark cloud around her, and Simion standing calmly behind her.

"But please! Let daddy see where you're living!" Tamaki begged, crying.

Dimi sighed, knowing already that she wouldn't be able to get rid of him. "Fine. Just a quick peek." She said, leading them to her apartment.

"Hey Di-chan! I brought you some cake!" Honey exclaimed.

"And we brought some tea our mother brought home from one of her trips." The twins said, holding a bag of tea.

Dimi glanced at Simion and let out a sigh. "Fine. You can stay for a while." She muttered, opening up her door to her apartment, walking inside.

"Welcome to my humble abode." Dimi said flatly.

"It's so small." Hikaru stated.

Dimi just sighed as she watched Tamaki start to yell at him. "Alright, let me make the tea." She said, you guys can sit at the table." She grabbed the electric tea kettle and poured water in it, plugging it in and flicking the switch to start the water.

"You have a pretty nice place here." Kyoya stated from behind Dimi.

"Thanks." Dimi said plainly, grabbing matching cups. "You guys want anything in your tea? Milk, sugar?" She asked, grabbing milk from her fridge.

"I'll have some sugar!" Honey exclaimed happily.

"The tea goes best with milk." Hikaru stated.

"So we'll have milk with it." Kaoru finished.

The others requested their things, and Dimi made the tea for them, despite Simion offering that he could do it for her.

Dimi handed everyone their cups, and sat down herself, taking a sip from her cup.

"Hey Di-chan, what cake do you want?" Honey asked, letting Dimi look in the box. "There's chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, and red velvet!"

Dimi looked at the selection, "Blueberry sounds nice." She said, getting a small blueberry cake placed in front of her, she watched as everyone else picked their cakes and started to eat.

"So, why did you guys come, anyways?" Dimi asked, taking a bite of her cake, "Besides, if I recall, it's more polite to inform the person who's house you're going to."

"It was quite rude of us-" Kyoya started, but suddenly got interrupted by Tamaki.

"I just had a dream that you were living in a hut!" Tamaki shouted, tears falling down his face as he stuffed cake in his mouth. "And that you were starving yourself!"

Dimi sighed, "I don't know what I expected to be honest." She muttered.

"Don't worry, they did the same thing with me." Haruhi whispered to Dimi.

Dimi felt a sudden annoyance, "Do you honestly think that all second class citizens live in a run down hut?" She asked, angrily stabbing her fork into the cake.

Tamaki nodded slightly, seeming to be ashamed.

Dimi sighed. "Look Tamaki, not all second class citizens are poor. Some are able to have houses of their own easily, while some work their asses off to be able to make rent. Not everyone in the second class is the same." She placed her plate down and looked at Tamaki calmly.

"I was just worried." Tamaki said quietly.

Dimi's annoyance faded away and turned to understanding. "I get that you were worried, but you need to inform someone if you're going to where they live. It's the polite thing to do." She tilted her head slightly and smiled. "You'll need to learn these things if you're going to take over your father's place."

"You speak as if you know what it's like to take over someone's place." Kyoya said, using his eyebrows slightly.

Dimi looked at him, still smiling. "It's not that I know what thats like." She stated shaking her head slowly, "It's just the logical thing to do."

Kyoya looked at Dimi with analyzing eyes. Then he looked away.

After a while, everyone finished their cake and tea.

"That really wet my appetite." Hikaru stated.

"It's about time for lunch, isn't it?" Kaoru asked.

"So, what's for lunch?" They asked together.

"I didn't really have anything planned." She said, "But, I could make something. I'm not much of a fan of take out."

"I would love to have a home made meal from my daughter!" Tamaki exclaimed happily.

"I'm not your freaking daughter!" Dimi exclaimed, "But, I should see what I have." She walked over to her fridge and looked inside. "Rice, raw fish... I could make sushi." She muttered.

"Handmade sushi would be wonderful!" Tamaki exclaimed.

"Alright." Dimi said as she took out the ingredients, "It'll take a while so make yourselves at home." She muttered as she started to prepare the food.

Behind her, Simion was sitting, calmly grabbing a can of beer.

"Hey, you're still a teen, right?" Hikaru asked, spotting the can. "Are you sure you should be drinking that stuff?"

Simion took a sip, "Ah, it's alright, I've been drinking this for years." He said with a smile.

Kyoya looked at him and adjusted his glasses, "Years you say?" He askes.

Dimi turned around the knife in her hand. "How many fucking times do I have to tell you to stop drinking that crap!" She exclaimed angrily, waving the knife in the air.

Tamaki screamed and grabbed onto Kyoya, "Mommy! Our daughter is cursing!"

Dimi rolled her eyes and walked over to Simion, grabbing the beer can out of his hand. "We're supposed to be high schoolers here, normally, high schoolers aren't supposed to drink." She whispered angrily.

Simion looked over at her, a pout on his face. His eyes wide and his lips shaking.

"That hasn't worked on me since I was 6,000." Dimi whispered to him, walking over and dumping the beer into the sink with a sigh. "Sorry you guys, I try to get him out of this habit." She sent a glare towards Simion, who sweat dropped and inched back, away from the table.

After a while, Dimi finished with preparing the sushi, and placed it at the table, putting matching plates in front of all the hosts. "Alright, here we go. I made sure this can be a finger food, so I don't think I need any silverwear." She added that part to herself mainly, though she knew the others could hear.

"Okay, let's dig in!" Simion exclaimed, grabbing some of the sushi and putting it on his plate.

The others nodded and followed suite, grabbing some for themselves and taking a bite.

"This is really good Di-chan! I didn't know you could cook!" Honey exclaimed with pink flowers surrounding him.

"Well, I guess I kind of had to learn if I were to be living by myself." Dimi muttered scratching the back of her head.

"By yourself?" Simion asked, "I could of cooked for you!"

"Yeah, but I could only take your cooking for a month." Dimi said, "I don't think anyone but you can live off of chicken noodle soup."

"Your loss." Simion said as he took a bite of the sushi.

The rest of the day went by smoothly, until Tamaki had an idea.

"Why don't we sleep over at your place, Dimi?" Tamaki asked, his eyes shining.

Dimi glanced at Simion, "Uhm... I don't think-"

"That would be so much fun, Di-chan!" Honey exclaimed.

"Commoner sleep over, Commoner sleepover!" Kaoru and Hikaru chanted.

Dimi sighed, knowing that she wouldn't be able to get them out of her house. "Fine." She muttered.

The hosts cheered and Simion and Dimi exchanged a look, hoping the hosts wouldn't find out anything about them.
