(Oliver's POV)

I rolled over under the blankets as the warm sunlight shone onto my tanned shoulders and covered back. There was a small scar from when I fell off the rope and landed on a piece of mulch sticking out of the ground. A blissful smile stretched across my face as my blankets hugged my curves and the warm light gently kissed my skin.

As I opened my eyes, a black nose and hazel eyes met my face as Titan, my great dane, sniffed at my face to wake me up. When I giggled and rolled over, he jumped up on the bed to continue his gently torment. I giggled and opened my eyes to his.

He yawned happily and curled up beside me, setting his head on my stomach for pets. My hand gently massaged the top of his head and scratched behind his ears as his eyes drunkenly blinked in bliss.

I listened half-mindedly to my parents talking downstairs and the sounds of the household's systems creating music for my ears.

I yawned and stretched as much as I could with a dog on me. Titan jumped off as he was assured I was awake and trotted downstairs to bug my mom. I swung my legs over the edge of the bed and went downstairs to get breakfast.

-a little timeskip to later-

"mom! I'm heading out!" I called out as I closed the door and headed towards my pickup truck. I had gotten it for my 16th birthday a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved it.

I started the engine and started driving to Teutonia's house to pick her up. I needed her around if I was going to go do the course in case something happened and I couldn't drive. I pulled up in front and honked my horn repeatedly," TEUTONIA! READY TO GO?!"

"YEAH I'M COMING!!!" She said that she ran out the door. She wore a pair of black leggings and a sports bra.

I rolled my eyes," I thought I told you to wear jeans and a t-shirt when we do the course. Go change."

I leaned back, taking my hand off the horn. I had ropes and a first aid kit in the back so we could practice multiple parts of the course.

My eyes roamed around the house and watched the shadows inside of multiple people running around.

My attention was jerked back when two identical faces grinned at me through the window," oh, Oliver-chan~"

'That's not creepy at all...' I sarcastically thought and locked the doors.

"Can we come too? We want to see what the course is like."

"Let's see, is it a good idea to bring boys who've had everything done for them and never had to physically work a day in their lives to a physically challenging obstacle course where it's very plausible they'll get hurt?"

Their eyes cast down at the ground and I felt my resolve weaken. Then Tamaki showed up and gave me puppy eyes. I awkwardly looked away and was shocked when Honey was at the passenger seat window with tears in his eyes.

"You're seventeen. I know those are fake tears."

"Please, Oliver-chan." Mori stood behind Honey with soft, yet unemotional eyes.

I sigh and hit my head on the steering wheel," fine. Get in. Teu gets shotgun though."

The doors unlocked and I listened to the doors and seatbelts click into place.

"Um, Oliver-chan. I don't have a seat..." I lifted my eyes to see Honey at my window.

"Teu, you mind going to the back?" I looked to my friend.

"But it's full back here."

"The bed, idiots. I'm asking if she'll ride in the bed of the truck." I glanced at them before looking back at Teutonia.

"Nah." She shook her head and climb out. "Though I thing Mori should sit up front since Honey looks like a grade schooler." She said as she hopped into the bed of the truck.

"There's a sheet back there and an extra outfit. Put the jeans and t-shirt on while we're driving to the course. Mori, front seat. Honey, take his in the back."

I waited until everyone was settled and honoed to let Teu know we're moving and pulled away from the house towards the highschool.

"There shouldn't be anyone on the course today since the Raiders have a comp at Firedall High today. However, we might see some other people at the school practicing other things. Just ignore them and follow me." I checked their outfits," good thing I brought extra clothes from my dad and older brother. You guys aren't dressed for the course. When we get there, grab an outfit closest to your size and change in the woods."

"In the woods?! Aren't there bathrooms we can change in at least?" Honey gaped

"none that are open. The woods is your only option. That or the sheet."

I parked my truck in front of the woodline," get the clothes from the bed and go change. Teu should be done by now. And thanks for wearing tennis shoes. I don't have any extra shoes."
