Your POV

An irritated groan escapes my lips, my friend, Ichika, drags me through the school corridors by my wrist, an excited giggle erupting from her lips. Ignoring my countless protests, she pulls me along, pushing innocent students out of her way with minimal effort. Her long black hair swaying with every joyful step she takes, muttering to herself how brilliant she was for coming up with this idea. Groaning, I stab at another useless attempt, trying to wriggle my wrist free of her iron clasp, whining as she tightens, sending her a frustrated glare to which she laughs, yanking me toward her as if I was a toddler struggling against reins.

Unfortunately, for me anyway, today was the day I was born. Yes, today, (birth date), was my birthday. Another day filled with empty cheers and birthday cards from relatives that I don't even know. A day that should be, and could be, full of fun. However, when your best friend, who you trust practically all your secrets with, decides to go against all of your wishes to not celebrate me gaining another year on my life and practically drags you through the corridor like a rag doll, telling you she has a surprise and that I'm going to 'love it', irritation and frustration begin to surface.

Much to my best friends dismay, I absolutely despised celebrating my birthday. Hating the day that I was born wasn't really a good look on you but hey, we're all entitled to our own opinion. It was due to the fact that, on my fifth birthday, my whole life changed. My aunt, had proposed an idea to my parents. Even though my birth parents are like, stinking rich, to begin with they were struggling ever so slightly already looking after my older brothers (who I never actually got to meet). My aunt offered to take me under her wing, train me to be her apprentice, to follow in her footsteps of becoming a fashion designer or model. Eagerly, they accepted, however they didn't realise that I'd have to move to a different country and never see them again for the rest of my life.

So yeah, happy birthday, me!

Suddenly, I'm ripped away from my subconscious as I crash into Ichika's back, groaning softly. She giggles, helping me to my feet before gesturing to the door, her hands shaking in a 'ta da' like way. Arching a brow, I cross my arms, sighing softly.

"You got me a door?" I ask biting back a laugh, "Is this seriously your brilliant idea?"
"No! I didn't get you a door!" She huffs crossing her arms like a toddler being put in time out, "The surprise is behind the door!"
"Alright, did you get me a room?" I ask arching a brow
"Just open the door!" She yells shaking my arm excitedly

Rolling my eyes, I slowly push the door open, red rose petals flying out of the room and resting gently on the floor as Ichika and I walk in. Looking around, I arch a brow as my eyes land on seven boys. Each of them dressed in some sort of kimono. Looking toward Ichika, confused and a bit disturbed, I glare slightly chasing a giggle from her lips.

She hired me the damn host club?!

"Welcome," they all say in unison which, not going to lie, freaked me out
"What the hell did you do?" I ask looking toward a giggling Ichika
"Surprise!" She says thrusting her hands in the air as she jumps up, "I bought you time with the host club! You get the whole day with them! Isn't that amazing!"
"No!" I reply turning to her, hitting her head lightly chasing a whine from her, "You know I don't like this sort of thing!"
"Ah, (Y/n) - chan," The ringleader, Tamaki Suoh, sings as he leans forward, his hand on his chin, staring at me with a welcoming yet flirtatious smile, "How do you know if you don't like it, if you've never tried it?"

Groaning softly, my eye twitches, irritated. Ichika giggles, sending me a final goodbye wave, before shooting out the door squealing. Leaving me with these boys. The blonde stands up, walking over to me, one hand snaking around my waist while another tilts my chin to look toward him. His lips just millimetres away from mine. His eyes meet mine for mere seconds before he chuckles, smirking as he rubs my chin with his thumb. Rolling my eyes, ignoring the blush that was slowly etching its way onto my cheeks, I look away from him, eyes straight to the floor before looking straight back at him, my breath hitching as he pulls my waist closer. He lets out light chuckle.

"Don't deny it, my sweet," he purrs, softly pulling away, "You're beautiful, and a girl as beautiful as you should be showered with the utmost love,"
"H - huh?" I question befuddled as he saunters off, grabbing my hand in his as he seats me down on one of the velvet couches, "What?"

Sighing softly, I lean into the back of the velvet couch, before looking toward little Honey, who first looked like a middle schooler but he was in fact a senior. He was holding a large chocolate cake in his hands with a little strawberry happily laying in the center with candles dotted around the edges of the surface, a large cute smile plastered across his face as he sets it down on the table infront of me.

"Ichika - chan said it was your birthday!" He says jumping next to me, leaning into my side, jumping as he's sat, "That means birthday cake! You have to share with me (Y/n) - chan! I want the strawberry too!"
"Mitsukuni," Mori, the strong silent senior, bluntly speaks out, looking down at the loli blonde, "You must share the cake, it is (Y/n) - san's birthday, give her the strawberry,"
"Oh, no, no, no," I say shaking my hands as I see Honey's eyes gloss over, "You can have the strawberry, Honey - Senpai!"

Cheering, Honey sticks his tongue out at Mori playfully before snatching the strawberry from the cake, giggling as he plops it into his mouth. A small smile edges onto Mori's lips. Although I hated the whole idea and concept of a host club, I couldn't stay mad at Honey nor Mori. Honey was an adorable little senior, who knew exactly how to tug at the heartstrings of any girl that came by him with Mori by his side he could knock any girl off their feet.

However, the whole point of a host club was to let girls come in and indulge in the desires that ached their loins. It was teasing girls with something that they can't have. Making them feel like they're beautiful, only to shoot them down once their time is up. Sure, the guys weren't that cruel and still played the act as the girls left but still, there was a hole in every girls heart that needed to be filled...

"Light the candles, Kyoya - chan!" Honey pleas, jumping on the couch giggling, "I want cake!"
"Patience, Honey," Kyoya berates as he walks over, smirking my way before lighting up the candles

Tamaki sits next to me, winking my way while Haruhi sits opposite me, sending me a soft, comforting smile. With a small smile, I blow out the candles, giggling as Honey cheers, eagerly watching Mori cut the cake into slices. Mori, hands me the first slice, smiling my way before satisfying the whines of little Honey. Without a second thought, I dig into the cake, moaning in delight as the chocolate flavour dances along my tastebuds.

"Hey (Y/n) - chan," Hikaru says leaning over the back of the sofa, sending me a smirk, "Can I try a piece?"
"Oh, sure," I reply, cutting a bit off with my fork before feeding it to him, smiling softly as he eats it
"(Y/n) - chan," Kaoru says leaning over my other shoulder, "You have chocolate cake on your face,"
"Huh? Where?" I ask before blushing bright red as he licks it off my cheek, smiling innocently as he hums in delight

Suddenly, as Hikaru leans over again, a red locket falls out of his kimono, dangling on a silver chain from his neck. His eyes widen, instantly pushing it back into his kimono before looking down. From a quick glance, it seemed like a part of a heart. One of the curved outer sections. It was red with a silver outline. Without thinking, Kaoru gasps, rushing over to him and pulls him into a hug.

"Don't cry, Hikaru," Kaoru pleads, "She wouldn't want you to..."
"What's going on?" I ask confused, standing up, making my way over to the twins, "Hikaru are you okay?"
"I'm fine," he says playing it off, "It's not anything important,"
"Hikaru, you're close to crying," I point out, "What's wrong?"

Slowly, he pulls out his locket again, Kaoru doing the same thing. Both of them had matching parts of a heart but one of was shaped leftwards and the other right. Looking toward each other, they lean in, trying to connect the locket but can't as there's no centre...

"We were given these lockets as kids," Hikaru explains, "Our father gave them to us two and our little sister before she left..."
"Our sister has the missing piece," Kaoru finishes, rubbing Hikaru's back, softly leaning into him, keeping up their twincest act, "We never had the chance to meet her because she was whisked away by our aunt,"
"Did you know her name?" I ask but they shake their heads sighing

Upon close inspection, I gasp softly, looking toward them before pulling out my own locket. I never knew what it was meant for. It had a crevice in the centre with jagged edges either side which probably meant it connected two different pieces to construct something. Without thinking, I pull the twins close to me, lifting their lockets in my hand, slotting my one in between them, gasping as it resembles a whole heart.

Instantly, the boys both look toward me with wide eyes. Gobsmacked. They were my brothers. I was their sister. It didn't take long before they pull me into a hug, Kaoru one side and Hikaru another. I was their sister! Sniffling, I snuggle into them, pulling them close as I try to fight back tears.

"(Y/n) - chan," Hikaru says amazed, "You're our sister!"
"We found our sister!" Kaoru cheers happily, squeezing me tightly, "She's real!"

Giggling softly, I pull them both into a tight hug. I couldn't believe it. I was the little sister of the Hitachiin twins. We pull away smiling widely at each other before both boys begin to glare toward Tamaki who slowly shrinks back behind Kyoya, muttering a feeble 'Mommy'.

"You hit on our sister!" They yell simultaneously
"But Kaoru!" Tamaki defends shaking his head, "You licked her face!"
"She's my sister!" Kaoru replies hurt, leaning into my touch as I press a kiss to his cheek, "I'm allowed to!"

Without another word, the twins chase after the squealing blonde forcing a giggle from my lips as I sit back down with Honey.

This has got to be the best birthday ever!...
