Haruhi : *studying in the library (late for the club)* *groans softly and closes her book* *runs down the hall* "I'm never gonna hear the end of it if I show up late." *gets to Music Room #3 and opens the door to a tropical rainforest* "What's this..? Where am I?"

Hosts : "Welcome!" *all of them wearing Balinese clothing* 

Haruhi : When I opened the door, the whole place was decked out like a tropical paradise. Can you see this, from heaven mom? *agitated* This is the club I was forced to join. *a toucan lands on her head as a snake coils around a tree next to her*

Twins : "You finally made it Haruhi, you're so late." 

Haruhi : *looks at her calendar* "I could be wrong, but my calendar says it's still early spring."

Mori : *running in the background with Huni on his shoulders*

Huni : *shouting in joy*

Tamaki : "Huddling under a kotatsu table fearing the cold is nonsense! And besides the heating system we have is-" *dramatic pose* "The best!"

Haruhi : *sighs*

Kyoya : "Do you have a problem with the way we run our club Haruhi? Be careful what you say, you owe us eight million yen remember." 

Haruhi : *remembers breaking the vase*

Tamaki : "Gentlemen don't bundle up in bulky clothing. It may be chilly early spring out there in the real world, but here at the club we want to surprise our chilly little kittens with a warm tropical paradise." *puts an arm around Haruhi* "Oh yes, we've turned this place into nirvana. A balmy tropical island of everlasting summer!" *throws his hand in the air*

Haruhi : "That's funny 'cause I feel a massive chill right now." 

Tamaki : "Only those with excellent social standing and those from filthy rich families are lucky enough to spend there time here, at the elite private school, Ouran Academy. The Ouran Host Club is where the school's most handsomest boys with too much time on their hands, entertain young ladies, who also have way too much time on their hands. Just think of it as Ouran Academy's elegant playground for the super rich and beautiful."

The Host Club is Now Open For Business

Tamaki : "What heartlessness, even with my lustrous skin, shining like brilliant ivory, exposed by my Balinese King outfit. I am no more than a slave before my goddess." *tilting one of his guests chins up* " I kneel before you and swear my loyalty."

Tamaki's Guest 1 : "Tamaki..." *all of his guests have hearts in their eyes*

Tamaki's Guest 2 : "Lucky.." 

Tamaki's Guest 3 : "Oh wow.."

Haruhi : *picks up an empty glass and continues walking*

Tamaki : "Oh yes! I almost forgot to mention to you ladies, next week the Ouran host Club is sponsoring a party."

Haruhi : *stops walking, looking back at Tamaki* "We're throwing a party?" 

Twins' Guest 1 : "What kind of party is it going to be?"

Twins' Guest 2 : "Is it going to be formal?"

Hikaru : "Yes, in fact we've rented the school's largest hall."

Kaoru : "It's the perfect place for dancing."

Hikaru : *grabs Kaoru's chin, going close* "But I really wanted to spend some alone time with you, Kaoru."

Kaoru : "Don't be upset Hikaru, I know exactly how you feel."

Twins' Guests : "They're so sexy and tropical!" *fangirling and blushing and giggling* *hearts around them*

Haruhi : "The guests seem to be even more worked up then they usually are."

Kyoya : *writing in his notebook* "Showing some skin proves popular with the ladies."

Haruhi : "So are you the one who came up with this tropical paradise idea?" *standing next to Kyoya in front of a bar counter*

Kyoya : "I have no decision making authority. All of the club's policies have been laid out by the club's king, Tamaki." *smiles while pushing up his glasses* "But, I guess there's no harm in admitting to casually slipping a Bali photobook onto his desk."

Haruhi : So he's the real brains behind the operation. 

Huni : "Ta da!" 

Huni and Mori's Guests : "Oh you're so cute Huni!" 

Huni : "Hi ladies, I love these balinese flowers, we had them flown in!"

Mori : *walks up, holding a pineapple*

Huni : "Takashi!" *climbs up Mori, putting a flower necklace on him* *hugs him* "There! We match!" 

Huni and Mori's Guests : "They're covered in chamilias! 

Haruhi : I'm still thoroughly confused by the two of them.

Haruhi's Guest 1 : "Um, Haruhi? Aren't you going to wear a tropical outfit like the other boys?"

Haruhi's Guest 2 : "I'd like to see that!"

Haruhi : "Well no, I-i .. I just don't think its appropriate to wear anything but early spring attire in early spring y'know." 

Tamaki : "But we have one ready for you Haruhi! I think you'll like it, you and I are a pair~" *excited about it*

Haruhi : "No thanks."

Tamaki : *goes white*

Haruhi's Guest 1 : "Wow Haruhi, you're really faithful to the different seasons, aren't you?" *hearts around her*

Haruhi's Guest 2 : "I think that's great! I hope we're lucky enough that the cherry blossoms are in full bloom on the night of the party." *hearts around her*

Haruhi's Guest 3 : "The two of us dancing among the cherry blossoms, it's so dreamy!" *hearts around her*

Haruhi : "You really think so? Y'know ladies, I think it's so cute when you dream like that." *smiles*

Kanako : "Excuse me, I hate to disturb, but I think it's time for the hosts to switch clients."

Haruhi : "Oh I'm sorry, you must be my next appointment, Miss..Uh..."

Kanako : "My name's Kanako." *smiling* "Kanako Kasugazaki." *tilts Haruhi's chin up* "You're even cuter then I expected. I've decided, from now on, you're going to be my new favorite host Haruhi."

Tamaki : *after the club, 5:23* *eating ramen, pouting* I can't take this anymore.. *sitting at a separate table from the others*

Hikaru : "Hey boss! Why don't you stop eating that commoners ramen and come over here to help us with the party planning!"

Kaoru : "Does it really bother you that Princess Kasuga has taken a liking to Haruhi?"

Kyoya : *typing on his laptop*  "He shouldn't be surprised, she's had the illness for a while now, hasn't she?"

Haruhi : "What illness?" 

Hikaru : "She's got the host hopping disease." *shrugs*

Kaoru : "A.K.A. The never the same boy twice disease." *shrugs*

Kyoya : "Usually our customers choose a favorite host and then sees them regularly. However, Princess Kanako tends to change her favorites, on a regular basis."

Huni : *hugging Usa-Chan* "That's right, 'cause before she chose you, she was with Tama-Chan!" 

Haruhi : *understands now* "Oh, so he's upset because I took her from him?"

Tamaki : "SHUT UP, I COULDN'T CARE LESS!!!" *shouts in her face* "I'm running out of patience! Haruhi!" *points to her* "It's time you started dressing like a girl!"

Haruhi : "Huh?" 

Huni : *hiding behind Kyoya, teary eyed for being yelled at*

Tamaki : *shaking his head in confusion* "I don't understand how you can be so popular with the ladies when you yourself are a lady! No one in the entire school knows the truth except for those of us here!"

Hikaru : "Yes she hopped out of taking gym classes."

Kaoru : "And the attendance numbers are all mixed together so no one can tell." 

Tamaki : *pushes 'King's Private Property' chest into view and digs in it* "That's enough Haruhi, now you listen to daddy." *brings out a picture of Haruhi when she had long hair* "Daddy wants you to go back to the way you were!" *anime crying*

Haruhi : "Don't go blowing up my photos without asking me first!" 

Hikaru : "The more I look at this picture the more amazed I am." *everyone is looking at the picture that's on the wall, with Tamaki crying* "How could this possibly become that?" *referring to her middle school picture to her first day of highschool, from the first episode*

Haruhi : "The day before school started, one of the kids in my neighborhood got some gum in my hair. It's a real pain to get gum out of long hair, so I decided to cut it all off." *rubs the back of her head* "I didn't care if I looked like a dude y'know?" 

Tamaki : *blows up in her face* "Girls should never refer to herself as a dude! Mama! Haruhi's using those dirty boy words again." *anime crying again, crumpling to the floor*

Hikaru : "I'm sorry but who's mama?"

Kyoya : "Based on club positions I assume it's me."

Haruhi : "Look I don't see what you're crying about, working as a host I can pay back more of my debt. It'll never happen if i'm just an errand boy."

Kaoru : "Hate to change the subject, but do you have formal dancing experience? You'll need it at the party."

Haruhi : *sweatdrop* "Uh no." *slowly tilts her head* "But the party doesn't have anything to do with my quota right? I'm not interested in going to events so if I could be excused.."

Tamaki : *evil star eyes, no longer crying* "Definitely not, a refined gentleman must know how to dance. If you want to live the life of a host that badly, you're going to have to show us how far you're willing to go Haruhi. I order you to master dancing the waltz in one week, and you will demonstrate it for us at the party~" *spins and points at her* "Or I'll tell the entire school that you're a girl! And knock you back down to errand boy."

Haruhi : *shaking while muttering nervously*

The Next Day

Kanako : *teaching Haruhi how to dance* "Quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow. Good work Haruhi!"

Mori : *spinning Huni around in the background* 

Huni : *yelling joyously*

Kanako : "Now on the slow you should bring your feet together, and remember, the gentleman always leads. And make sure you look at the lady you're dancing with."

Haruhi : "Got it-" *shouts as she trips, falling on top on Kanako* "I'm so sorry Miss Kasugazaki!"

Kanako : *puts her arms around Haruhi's neck, pulling her closer* "It's okay Haruhi."

Haruhi : "Can I help you up?"

Twins : "Why so gloomy boss?"

Tamaki : *pouting in a corner* 

Hikaru : "I bet it's because he wanted to be the one Haruhi practices with." *looks at his brother*

Kaoru : "I think you may be right, but he's way too tall to stand in as a woman." *looks at Hikaru*

Haruhi : "Thank you so much for allowing me to practice with you, I really appreciate it."

Kanako : "Oh, no problem, I heard that you're not seeing any customers today so that you can practice dancing. I'm glad I got to spend this time alone with you." *smiles flirtaciously at Haruhi*

Haruhi : "Uh.."

Kanako : *looking at her teacup* "Oh my, this is a new tea set isn't it. It's Ginori."

Haruhi : *sweatdrop* "Ginori?"

Kyoya : "You have a keen eye mademoiselle. In fact, we just received them yesterday. We decided that it was about time for the club to upgrade its tea sets."

Kanako : "I see." *smiling* "What a pretty color, lovely."

Tamaki : *looks up from his corner*

Haruhi : "You must really be into tableware huh?"

Kanako : *freaks, putting the teacup back down* "Not really, I mean no of course i'm not! Whatever would give you that idea?" *laughs nervously*

Haruhi : She obviously knows a lot about it, why would she lie?

Tohru : "Hello? I'm here with the new teacups you ordered."

Kanako : *rubbing her tea cup nervously* *gasps at hearing Tohru's voice, looking up*

Kyoya : "Ah, thank you very much. Every item that you've chosen for us has been extremely popular with the ladies, I'm quite impressed."

Tohru : "Well that's good to hear." *smiling*

Haruhi : *walks over* "So, do you sell tea sets?"

Tohru : "No I'm just a regular student, can't you tell by the uniform?"

Kanako : *laughs, turning around in her chair to look at them* "Oh Haruhi, you're so funny. I can't blame you for not knowing. After all he doesn't really look like an heir to a first class company."

Tohru : *looks at Kanako* 

Haruhi : "First class company?" 

Kyoya : "His family's business, the Suzushima Trading Company, deals primarily in the importing of tableware. They currently have the top market share in the country."

Kanako : *meets eyes with Tohru and frowns, turning back forward in her seat*

Haruhi : "Wow..." *looks at the box in her hands that holds the new tea sets* 

Kyoya : "So whenever something exceptional comes in, we've asked them to send it our way."

Kanako : *turns back around in her chair, frowning slightly* 

Kyoya : "He has a great eye for fine china, don't you Suzushima?"

Tohru : *stops looking at Kanako to look at Kyoya* "You think? I've still got a lot to learn, but thank you."

Kyoya : "Aren't you leaving next month to study abroad in England?"

Tohru : "Yes I am. Well, I'd better go now." *walks out*

Tamaki : *goes up to Kanako* "So, are you enjoying the host club?"

Haruhi : *walks back over, still carrying the box* "I get the feeling you and that guy are kinda close."

Kanako : *exclaims loudly, turning back around in her chair* "Don't be ridiculous! We hardly know each other! What makes you say that Haruhi?!" *gets up, putting a napkin to her mouth* "Now if you'll please excuse me, take care." *goes out of the room*

Huni : *jumps on Haruhi's back* "Haru-Chan! Guess what? They do know each other! Suzushima is Kasuga-Chan's fiance!"

Tamaki : "Kyoya, how long have you know about this?" 

Kyoya : "About the two of them being engaged?" *opens his folder* "Well, as you know I conduct general searches on all of our customers. The two of them were childhood friends, it seems that their engagement was arranged by their parents. I didn't think the information would benefit us so I disregarded it."

Tamaki : "I see... 

Kyoya : *reading from his folder* "Tohru Suzushima, outstanding grades, fair social status. He's ordinary looking, but he's reliable, if I had to fault him for anything.."

Hikaru : "He doesn't have much presence."

Kaoru : "And he's faint hearted."

Kyoya : "So in other words, he's boring." *closes his folder*

Haruhi : I had no idea they were so merciless towards other guys..

Huni : "Suzushima is a good boy, right?" *on top of Mori's shoulders*

Mori : "Yea."

Tamaki : "Alright everyone, we'll have to work on our strategy."

Hosts (minus Tamaki) : "Which one?" 

Tamaki : "Men it is our responsibility, as members of the elite Ouran Host Club, to make every girl happy!"

One Week Later

Tamaki : "It is so good to see you here tonight my little lambs. The Ouran Host Club would like to bid you, welcome." *bows as lights turn on, revealing the ballroom for the dance* *an orchestra plays*

Guests : *clapping and giggling*

Kyoya : "As always ladies, the Host Club members are here for your entertainment. So we invite you to dance to your hearts content. Based on her dancing skills, one lucky young lady will be chosen as tonight's queen. The queen's reward will be a passionate kiss on the cheek, from our king." 

Tamaki : "Good luck to you, my darlings." *winks*

Guests : *fangirling, squealing, blushing, fainting, hearts everywhere*

Twins : "Haruhi, show some enthusiasm!"

Haruhi : "Well excuse me you guys, sorry. I'm not used to this sort of thing. I've only ever gone to the festivals held in my neighborhood park." 

Kyoya : "I don't know if you can really consider that a party or not. Well, since you're already here you might as well get yourself something to eat. We've got quite a spread."

Haruhi : "A spread..?" *blushes slightly while speaking* "With fancy tuna?"

Mori, Huni and Kyoya : "FAN-"

Twins : "CY"

Tamaki : "TUNA?!" *flips from the balcony* *points at Kyoya* "Get some fancy tuna here right now!"

Kyoya : "Add some deluxe sushi." 

Twins : *hugging Haruhi, 'consoling' her* "You poor little dear, aww."

Haruhi : *blushing a bright red, but annoyed* I hate these filthy rich jerks..

*all of the hosts are dancing with the guests.. besides Haruhi, who's leaning up against a pillar watching*

Haruhi's Guest 1 & 2 : *from behind the pillar* "Uhh?" *quickly go back behind when Kanako walks up*

Kanako : "Hello Haruhi, i've been looking all over for you. Do you think maybe I could have the next dance?" 

Haruhi : "Yea, of course you can." *holds her hand out to Kanako*

Haruhi's Guest 1 & 2 : *anime crying while watching the two*

Huni : *dancing with a guest* "Kasuga-Chan is here!"

Tamaki : *also dancing with a guest* "Alright men, then let us commence with our operation."

Huni : "Right!"

Mori : "Rodger."

Haruhi : *walking with Kanako onto the dance floor* *gets grabbed by Mori and Huni and they run off* *screams*

Kanako : "What..? Kidnapped...?"

Tamaki : *chuckles slightly while looking at her*

In a Different Room

Mori : *comes in with Huni, carrying Haruhi* *sets her down*

Kaoru : "There she is!" 

Huni : *giggling*

Haruhi : "You didn't have to be so forceful!"

Hikaru : *hands her a package* "Nevermind that, go get changed."

Huni : "Yea!" *pushes Haruhi into a changing room*

Haruhi : *exclaims* *sighs and starts to change*

Kyoya : "A little accident towards the end of the night would be quite thrilling. And remember Haruhi, there are only twenty minutes remaining before the party reaches its climax. Suzushima is already waiting for you in the classroom across the hall."

Haruhi : *is now in a dress and has hair extensions* *comes out from the changing room and the twins start putting makeup on her*

Huni : "You have to ask him how he feels okay?" 

Twins : *applying makeup to Haruhi* "Uh we know this is the boss's strategy, but it's kind of unsettling."

Tamaki : *comes into the room* "Gentlemen! Here you all are, what are you doing? The guests are waiting for-" *sees Haruhi*

Haruhi : *stands up and turns towards the door*

Twins : *proud* "So what do you think?" 

Haruhi : *walks clumsily to the door*

Huni : "Wow you look so cute!" 

Haruhi : "My face feels heavy and it's hard to walk in these shoes."

Twins : *cheering for her as she walks down the hall* "Good luck Haruhi!"

Tamaki : *blushing and murmuring* "Look at her, she's so pretty..."

Haruhi : *walks into the room across the hall* 

Tohru : "You're the one who wrote this letter?" *holds up a letter* "You're totally different from what I imagined.." 

Haruhi : "Letter..?"

Letter : "I'm in love love! From the first time I saw you, i've been head over heels in love! *giggle* It's like my heart is stuck in a never ending typhoon. All these feelings of love keep whipping around in my heart like the breaking waves! When the typhoon's rising waters come, I want to randevu with you on Noah's Ark! I do! I do!"

Haruhi : *sweatdrops* Who wrote such a stupid letter? 

*chibi heads of Hikaru, Kaoru, and Kyoya pop up*

Tohru : "Excuse me, have we met somewhere before?"

Haruhi : *freaks* "No, uh this is the first time I've ever talked to you!" *laughs nervously*

Tohru : "Oh I'm sorry, I'm flattered by your letter but I'm afraid I don't feel the same way. You see, another girl already has my heart." *frowning slightly*

Haruhi : "Oh well I didn't know that you had a girlfriend."

Tohru : "Unfortunately, she's not my girlfriend. In fact, I think she's completely over me. In all honesty, she'd be happier with someone more self confident than me." *looks out the window*

Somewhere in the hallway with Tamaki and Kanako

Kanako : "Where exactly are you taking me Tamaki?" 

Tamaki : "You know, you're not the kind of girl who's good at manipulating others." *stands in front of a window with her*

Kanako : "What do you mean by that?" 

Tamaki : "I have you figured out Kanako." *smiling* "I know you're switching from host to host to get his attention. And I've noticed that you always look the happiest gazing into a teacup."

Kanako's Flashback 

Kid Tohru : "Hey check these out Kanako!" *looking at teacups*

Kid Kanako : "So pretty!" *also looking at them*

Kid Tohru : "There's a Wedgwood, a Foli, Worcester, over here is a Ginori and a Mison. Someday you're going to be my wife Kanako, so I'll tell you about all of them, kay?"

Kid Kanako : *blushing* *giggles and nods* "Mm!" 

End Flashback

Kanako : "It's pointless, it doesn't matter how hard I try, he never notices me. And now he's decided, to study abroad without-.. without even telling me.."

Back with Haruhi and Tohru

Tohru : "That's why I've decided I need to change, I want to see the world. Hopefully, become a better man. I know it's selfish, but I wonder if she'll wait for me.."

Haruhi : "Yea, you're right, that is pretty selfish of you."

Tohru : *shot through the heart with an arrow*

Haruhi : "But maybe she would wait, you'll never know if you don't tell her how you feel. You obviously have strong feelings for her, so why not go ahead and talk to her? I think once you decide to change, then you've already begun your transformation."

Tohru : *reaches out to Haruhi*

Kanako : *opens the door, looking inside the room*

Tohru : "Kanako..."

Kanako : *looks down, crying* "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you two, I just-" *crys and runs down the hall*

Tohru : "Kanako!" *runs after her* "Kanako!" 

Haruhi : *walks out of the room, watching the two* "Looks like we just made matters worse."

Tamaki : *walks around the corner, standing next to Haruhi* "But he did go running after her."

Haruhi : "Hm." *smiles* It's our responsibility as members of the elite Ouran Host Club, to make every girl happy.

Kanako : *running and crying*

Tohru : *chasing after her still* *grabs Kanako's hand, stopping them both*

*spotlights go on the two and everyone comes outside*

Tamaki : "Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for us to begin the final dance of this evening's festivities. The last waltz of tonight has been chosen by the Host Club for-" *motions to Kanako and Tohru* "This couple."

Kanako : *gasps*

Tohru : *lets go of Kanako and bows, holding his hand out* "Princess Kasuga, may I have this dance?"

Kanako : *hesitant but grabs his hand* "Yes..." *music starts and they dance*

Twins : *eating bananas*

Tohru : *still dancing* "I love you Kanako... I've always loved you, and, I want you to be my wife."

Kanako : *smiles happily* "Tonight, marks the end of my host hopping." 

Tamaki : *throws his arms out, making Haruhi duck* "Ah, May this awkward couple be forever blessed!"

Hikaru : "And now we'll announce the queen of the ball!" *holding a banana peel*

Kaoru : "Congratulations Princess Kanako Kasugazaki!" *also holding a banana peel*

*everyone claps*

Hikaru : *no longer holding a banana peel* "And for her reward, a kiss on the cheek from the knig!"

Tamaki : "You ready?"

Kaoru : *also not holding a banana peel* "Haruhi Fujioka will stand in for Tamaki!"

Tamaki : *freaks*

Haruhi : *freaks* 

Twins : *shrugging* "Kyoya did say that a little accident towards the end of the night might make the evening more thrilling for everyone!"

Tohru : *puts a hand on Kanako's shoulder* "It's just on the cheek right? You should accept it, it will commemorate your graduation from host hoping." 

Haruhi : "There's no way I can kiss her." 

Kyoya : "If you do it we'll cut your debt by one third." *writing in a notebook*

Haruhi : "Well it is just a peck on the cheek." *walks down the steps towards Kanako*

Huni : "Hey! You don't think this is Haru-Chan's first kiss do you?"

Tamaki : "What?!"

Haruhi : *tilting Kanako's chin up to kiss her cheek*

Tamaki : "Wait Haruhi!" *runs down the steps, slipping on a banana peel and pushing on Haruhi's back, making her kiss Kanako on the lips* *depressed*

Tohru : *gasps*

Haruhi : *quickly pulls away from Kanako, covering her mouth*

*all of the girls cheer*

Haruhi : *puts her hand to her mouth, lightly blushing* I never would've thought that I'll end up giving my first kiss to another girl.. 

Kanako : *quickly looks at Tohru who laughs nervously*

Haruhi : But it was such an amazing night. So I guess it's just as well. *chuckles*

Tamaki : *anime crying, reaching out for Haruhi*

INTRO

Haruhi : "If word gets out that I'm really a girl, I won't be able to stay in the host club."

Tamaki : "Don't you worry Haruhi, I will protect your secret no matter what!"

Haruhi : "Next time, 'Beware The Physical Exam!'"

Tamaki : "The Ouran Host Club will be waiting for you!"

Hosts : "We'll see you then!"
