Emily and her friends are starting their first year in high school. Their group of friends will be tested and some will fail. Emily is ready to start high school with her head held high and a smile on her face but she soon realizes that not everything will be easy for them once they actually arrive to the new school. And some friendships end during high school. She also has to get used to her aunt and cousin moving back to New York from London after hearing months later, about what her brother did to Emily.
