Jungkook was surprised Jimin didn't crawl into his bed that night. The young man waited and stared at the door constantly waiting and waiting… But he sat there and let out a sigh. “Is he still upset… Or is he trying to get better? I don't know… I can't help but to feel as if Jimin hates the fact that I'm going back to work. I wouldn't blame him, I hate it too. I hate the fact that I have to lie to him in order to save him. Do I have to keep picking at my own wounds to keep him safe?” The man asked himself. He understood lying to Jimin was something he had to do in order to keep his lover safe from going back to the stars, but doing so hurt the younger more than it would hurt Jimin.

               By the following morning, everything grew silent. Jimin would normally rush in and giggle about how much he loves his Jungkook and wait for a praise to greet him in the morning for pulling through all night. However, Jungkook sat up and silenced his alarm around 6:30AM to see that Jimin wasn't on his bed. He expected Jimin to be by his side, but he fell short when Jimin wasn't near him. “That's new…” The younger said to himself before standing up and stretching. The man started his own day as usual and as soon as he got out of the shower to brush his teeth, he wore his bathrobe around his body while he brushed his teeth.

           Instantly, Jimin opened the bathroom door to the one they shared, after being awaken from the sound of Jungkook closing and opening doors along with the man taking a shower right after. Jimin stepped in to see Jungkook standing in front of the mirror, taking a glance back at his lover, and finally rinsing off the toothpaste froth from his mouth to smile at Jimin.

          "I see that you made it through the night without coming to my room!” Jungkook mentioned but Jimin stood there in silence and glared at the floor with his eyes painted red and puffy from a long night. “Jimin? It looks like you've been crying…” Noted the younger before drying his mouth and face before approaching Jimin. “Mochi, are you okay?”

          “No… I just want you to stay here with me! Stay with me forever, Jungkook!” Jimin begged desperately as he then covered his own face. “I-I… I don't want you to go… I want you to stay here! You're my caretaker and you have to take care of me…” Jimin begged desperately as Jungkook then wrapped his arms around his boyfriend to hug. “Why aren't you telling me you'll stay? Why are you neglecting me…?”

            “Mochi, I don't want to leave you… But I do have work. What did you expect us to do? Sit down all day and not work at all? Mochi, you'll understand when you're better enough to get back to the facility.”

           “N-No… no… No don't go…” Begged Jimin. He cried over the fact that Jungkook was going to be gone for months leading to a year once he starts to leave by tomorrow. “S-Stay… Stay… Please… You're hurting me…” Jimin clung onto Jungkook right there, he didn't know when the younger would go off to astronaut training and he didn't know when the younger would leave to space, but he knew the start of it all will begin today and Jimin just couldn't bear the thought anymore.

            “Mochi, I'll be back tonight. Stop… Stop clinging onto me like this… I already told you I'll be back. I know you're used to me being by your side everyday, but these things get me worried. You can't learn to be on your own if I'm constantly here. Take this as something you learn. I hate to leave you…” Jungkook whispered and caressed Jimin's face to calm him down. As always, that calmed the older down as if it was his weak spot. “If you're scared, it's okay… This is my first time far from you and it bothers me too. Be strong for me, okay? I will be back at night once my shift is over. Can you do that for me… Wait for me?”

           “Y-Yes… Yes, I can do that...” Jimin whispered and pressed his head against Jungkook's forehead.

            At that moment, Jungkook began to worry for Jimin. Every little thing seemed off about the older. Normally, he wouldn't react that way for just one day the young man would be off at work. So after seeing Jimin like this, Jungkook began to think in his own head. “What did I do to him…? I never gave him a moment to breathe on his own… I rushed my love onto him and fell in love with him before he could learn to be lonely in a universe like ours. The least I could do is let him learn. I feel so guilty for doing this… Knowing well that I made him feel this way…” Jungkook thought and stood there caressing Jimin's gentle face and smiling to himself. “Are you okay now?”

          “Yes… Just.. Please come back as soon as possible.” Jimin whispered, however… He only said this for today. There was many things that would follow after and it was the fact that Jungkook would be going to space and Jimin had to play along acting like he didn't know a thing about it.

           “Alright. I'll tell Taehyung to come over.” Jungkook mentioned and walked back to the mirror of the bathroom sink to rinse with mouthwash after.

           “W-Why Taehyung?” Asked the older and sat over the closed toilet lid to listen to the one he loved. “Why not Namjoon, Jungkook…?”

             “Because he's your ex. I get jealous so easily and I don't want him to be alone with you. Only I can be alone with you because I'm your boyfriend.”

              “What about Taehyung? He's not you or Namjoon… Why does he have to be alone with me?”

               “Because, Taehyung only likes to play around, but I know he doesn't mean it.” Responded the young man. Jungkook then looked back at Jimin sitting there and watching his every move from where he sat. “Besides, if he tries anything, I know you'll make him stop. You know him more than I do.” Jungkook assured and finally heard Jimin's giggle to start off his day.

                After the long morning, Jungkook sat on the couch wearing his white dress shirt, black suspenders with matching slacks and classy shoes. His black silk hair was thrown forward with the left half rolled back to expose his forehead. He waited on the couch for Taehyung as Jimin went back to sleep in his own bed for once. Jimin didn't want to see Jungkook leave, So, he distracted himself by going back to sleep for the morning until Jungkook was to leave.

                There, Jungkook waited thirty minutes for Taehyung until he heard a knock at the door. “Finally!” Jungkook spoke out and got up, glancing at the time so he could complain to the older man for running late. Abruptly, Jungkook swung the door open and by there, his eyes met with Taehyung standing at his doorway with a smirk. Taehyung stood right at the door with a black cap on, black sweatpants with white stripes falling down the sides along with a dark blue sweater over his torso and a pair of white sneakers to seal his look.

                “Oh, my love!~ You dress up so nicely. It throws me back to the time when we got married!” Taehyung teased like always and rose his arms up to wrap around Jungkook. “Ah… And you smell nice too!”

                “Get off of me, Taehyung. I have to go to work.”

                 “So it is true… You're really going to space…” Taehyung mentioned and folded his arms with a childish pout that surfaced right after. “No fair! I wanna go to space too, Jungko-” Suddenly, Jungkook threw his hand over Taehyung's mouth to silence him from getting any louder.

                 “SHH! I don't want Jimin to know..” The young astronomer uttered in a soft voice to his deep tone until… Taehyung suddenly licked the young man's hand over his mouth. “T-Taehyung! Ah, really? That's gross...”

                  “Don't act like you don't love it! Everytime you sleep at work I make sure to take your hand and-”

                  “AH! Don't you dare finish that sentence!” Jungkook then wiped his hand dry along Taehyung's blue sweater before walking off to wash his hands. “Anyways, please don't tell Jimin that I'll be going to space… It will kill him.”

                 “All jokes aside, I know that already. I'm happy for you to go off to space, but… what will happen when the day comes closer and Jimin has to learn once you're already in your astronaut suit, hours away from departure?” Questioned the astronomer, dropping onto the couch to fold his left leg over his right and planting his arms along the sides of the couch. “You can't do this to him… Why don't you send me? I've had my days in training…”

                “It's more likely that they'll send us both up there since Jimin can't. Besides, I need to have Jimin tell me what he did on that rocket. That's the only way we could fix the B248.” Jungkook washed his hands, dried them and then grabbed his briefcase to head out quickly.

                 “They'll send us together?! AH, YES! WE'LL GET MARRIED NEXT TO THE STARS!” Shouted the playful man like a child. “I'll wear the dress! Jimin could be the ring boy because-”

                  “Yeah, Yeah… Hey, let me borrow your car for work, Taehyung.” Jungkook requested as the older man quickly rose his right hand to give up his car keys. “Thanks. Don't tell Jimin and do not bother him while he's sleeping. Alright? Bye!” The young man then opened the door and dashed out of the house while Taehyung took off his white sneakers to walk around in his black and red mismatched socks. Taehyung was childish, but he was intelligent, he only acted childish in a playful way towards his friends, but he was very serious when it came to work. Suddenly, the thoughts going off to space made him smile and he rather hoped it was the truth. He didn't mind having Jungkook as his partner, he only looked forward to finally meeting with the stars and it made him smile while he sat on the couch to ponder it further.

                 As the intelligent astronomer sat there, contemplating the stars in his head, Jimin opened the door from his room and walked out. The older wasn't sleeping at all and rather waited for Taehyung to arrive soon. “Oh, good morning, Jimin! Jungkook just left.” Taehyung mentioned and stood up instantly. “Were you sleeping-”

              “What did he tell you?” Jimin asked, walking forward and folding his arms. “Did he told you to keep it from me too?”

              “K-Keep what?” Chuckled the man nervously. Taehyung then placed his hand over his head and his other on his hip; trying to avoid looking too obvious. But, Jimin knew very well.

              “About him going off to space… I know that he is. He doesn't even dare to tell me…” Jimin replied into a bicker and walked forward to see Jungkook drive off in Taehyung's white Genesis G90 styled car. “I don't want him to go… He'll leave me forever....”

               “How did you know?”

              “I overheard him, but having him leave me is something I can't bear the thought of. Imagine him leaving for a year! What will I do? Cling onto the rocket monitor like an idiot to cry until he comes back?! This is killing me…” Jimin complained and complained continuously until Taehyung walked close to his best friend and threw his arm over Jimin's shoulder.

               “You can't get mad over this… You need to understand that Jungkook is doing this for you! He loves you so much… he doesn't want them to send you up there. All you need to do is tell him what you did on the B248 and play it off like you don't know anything. He'll be alright and astronaut training will shape him. I hate that you want to be the hero in this once more, but let Jungkook do this for you… even if he'll be gone for a year and you'll be all alone in the universe you two hold… It makes him happy that he sacrificed his own life for you when you just couldn't stand for your own. Think about it… You'll thank him when he comes back, I promise.” Taehyung's words struck Jimin and made him realize he had to be grateful for Jungkook stepping forward for him like that.

            Yes, there was going to be pain after a year without his boyfriend… But Jimin realized that Jungkook was willing to risk his own life for the one who made it better. Even if it leaves him alone in his own universe for quite some time, Jungkook was going to come back to him eventually. Just like the satellite he was to Jimin's earth from the very start.
