Third POV.

Anaya woke up the next day only to find the room empty, she sigh....good....she doesn't want to see his face anyway, she picks her phone and saw the time it was 7 AM, she hurriedly went to get ready, Draping a beautiful pink saree with a sleeveless blouse as Vedika taught her she wore bangles, mangalsutra, and jhumka, giving herself one last look in the mirror she went out, she has to smile and pretend to be happy in front of others, she went first to temple room where her mother in law and grandma were preparing for today's ritual, Sampoorna told her everything regarding byah haath(Indian wedding ritual) where at the respective houses of both the bride and the groom. Ladies in the family and the neighborhood gather together to sing songs of purity and happiness, which are popularly known as 'Mangal Geet'.

Anaya carefully learns everything, she doesn't want to do anything wrong as it was her best friend's wedding, throughout the day she was successful in avoiding Mr. Rajvansh and she has no intention of facing him either.

Anaya put her stethoscope and sphygmomanometer back in her bag and smile at Vedika " well it seems mommy and baby both are doing well so far, but I would suggest you take more fluid and sit at one place don't run here and there, Bhai give her the Vitamin table I gave you and make sure she eats more, it's your last month please be more careful Bhabhi and tell me immediately when you feel and cramp "

Anaya put her hand on her swollen belly when the baby kicks Vedika and Anaya both smile it always happens whenever Arjun, Anaya, or her husband put their hand on the baby bump he always kicks.

"He loves you.....you know...." Vedika says caressing her belly Anaya smile and Krish clicks a picture...

"What's there not to like......she is an angel after all...." Aashi said as she sits beside Vedika kissing her head.

"Krish please help me get dressed...I want to look beautiful as well just look at these two.....they look hot and beautiful...right Maa." Vedika said looking at Aashi and Anaya, Sampoorna kiss her head and said

"My all three daughters are beautiful...but yes you should get ready and people will start gathering within some time.

Pavitra came and bless Vedika and said " Take care...I won't tolerate any excuse.....it is about our future heir and my most beloved great-grandson.....I am so glad we have a skilled doctor at home...Anaya does take proper care of her." Anaya nods and smiles at Pavitra.

Sampoorna and Pavitra went out, Anaya and Aashi start teasing Krish as Vedika is giving him hard time selecting on dress.....but the love is visible between this couple, Anaya smile and starts remembering how different her marriage is from others......her smile automatically vanished.

What others fail to notice was that Arjun was looking at all this, Anaya's face told him what she must be thinking looking at his brother and his wife. Arjun leaves there clenching his jaw, she wants what is impossible, they cannot be a normal couple.

Anaya brings Aashi and makes her sit on a throne decorated beautifully with flowers, Men are not allowed in the function as it is a ladies' function, Vedika sits comfortably in one chair and Anaya sits beside her near Aashi. Ladies start singing and dancing.

The function was in full swing when one lady who was singing stopped and turn to Sampoorna

"Sampoorna Bai saa.....we heard that Aashi bai saa every ritual will be done by your younger Daughter in law...."

Sampoorna smile and nods....then looks at Anaya and blink in assurance, Anaya smile at her nervously....ohh no now what will this aunty ask...

"Then who can you forget that bhabhi saa sings one shagun song( ritual song) for her and saa....in byah haath....common Choti Bahu saa come and perform this ritual....what say, everyone.."

Every lady in the ceremony starts to agree with her. Anaya become tense....now what...she doesn't know anything...hell she never sung anything for this type of ceremony.....she gave a pleading look to Sampoorna......

Sampoorna try to intervene when one lady pulls Anaya and make her stand in between the hall, Anaya smile at everyone nervously when everyone starts praising how beautiful she looks.....

Chitra and Shruti smirk...thinking now Anaya will be humiliated...

Anaya took a deep breath and smiled at Aashi who was looking tense....no she will not ruin her best friend's wedding she remembered her biji(grandmother) singing one song mostly, it was a Punjabi wedding song which she want to sing at Anaya's wedding....but nothing happened like planned....but she memorized that song with her biji when she visited her in childhood.....

Anaya sings that shagun song for her best friend and everyone in the hall gets mesmerized listening to her melodious song, Sampoorna, Aashi, and Vedika have tears in their eyes.....Pavitra came near Anaya and kissed her crown......

Arjun was on the top floor but the song pulls him there, he saw how glorious and beautiful his wife looks while singing some song...... his lips automatically curl into a smile, he always want her to smile no matter what but unfortunately he is the reason of for her tears,

So he deserves her.....?

He knows the answer but never going to accept this......no matter what she is his....and will always be his. If he burns....she will burn with him.

He was looking at how unique and different among all of them she looks, his thoughts were broken when some lady said something to his wife.

"Sampoorna bai saa your daughter-in-law is so beautiful and her voice is so melodious....please keep her safe otherwise someone may steal her from you all....." every lady present there started laughing.

Sampoorna came near Anaya and kiss her forehead and turn to the other....." Don't worry Mrs. Singh we intend to keep her safe and secure with us only.....you have not seen her husband's possessiveness.....my son is there to keep her to himself......"

Everyone laughed at her, Anaya's cheek turn scarlet red and she dug her head down.

Possessive...yeah right.....he never leaves any chance to hurt her and belittle her...Anaya scoffed at this.

Aashi stand up and said..." What is this Anaya...I mean bhabhi... it's your best friend's wedding and you are not dancing....common please dance for me.....what say, people...."

Everyone started cheering for her, Anaya gave a murderous glare to Aashi who makes a puppy face...Anaya took a deep breath and said..." Remember Aashi we promised each other to dance at each other's wedding.....so this is for you."

They all dance and enjoy themselves a lot........Arjun's whole attention was on his beautiful wife...But his staring was broken when he heard someone...

"Ooo...Banna this is ladies' function go out...are you sneaking in ladies function..." Sid was now dancing with Anaya and his friends has joined him. Aashi came and joined them as well. Ladies start forcing Sid and other boys out. Everyone was laughing at Sid's antics.

Arjun saw that Sid and his friends who came yesterday from London were present inside the hall and ladies were arguing with them.....

Sid hide behind Sampoorna and said," Maa....tell them to please let us be here, my friends had never seen an Indian wedding.....what's the use when they can't attend the functions....please Maa..."

Everyone laugh how like a child he was pleading to Sampoorna...she instantly agreed and they all start dancing and enjoying.

Anaya came out of the bathroom cleaning her face she was hell tired, but she enjoyed the function...she remember how Sid and his friends made the function more entertaining...

"I see you enjoyed the function......"

Anaya jumped listening to a cold voice...Arjun was standing there in his glory hands inside his pant pocket, his sleeves were folded till his elbows and his top three buttons were open giving a perfect view of his muscular chest.

Anaya gulped and looks into his eyes which were cold with no emotion....she was afraid of him, but gulping down her fear she moved toward the closest and Picks extra quilt and one pillow.....she was ignoring Arjun totally, even though her heart was thumping very fast she held herself and quietly moves toward the couch and put her sleeping things properly.....

Arjun curl his fist in anger....she was ignoring him....how dare she.....he moved toward her hold her arm yanking her to him he looks into her eyes.....only fear is seen in her eyes.....gone was warmth only fear is there...

She is afraid of him......Arjun tighten his grip on her....her eyes were beaming with tears but she refuse to show her hurt to him.....

"You know I don't like when someone ignores me....never...I repeat never ignore me Mrs. Rajvansh..." saying this he pulls her to him such that her breast is plastered to his toned hard chest....her breath stopped....his woody muscular scent filled her nose. Arjun lean and put his head in the crook of her neck, Anaya whimpered at this proximity and shut her eyes....it was hard for her to breathe in his presence....he has this effect on her.....

Arjun sighed in the hollow of her neck,

Heaven....his heaven.....!

"Why......why this affects me so much.....your care....your ignorance.....stop playing with my mind....." Arjun nipped her neck husking slowly...

Anaya was slowly losing herself again his closeness always affects her.....she suppress her moan......she hands were trembling....she was feeling new sensations in her body....her craving for something unknown was raising.......she exhale loudly and clutch her top tightly.

But the spell breaks on his words.....

Playing with his mind.....what a hypocrite he is.....!

Anaya pushes him but Arjun holds her tightly...

"Don't....."

"Leave me Mr. Rajvansh......you have no right to touch me....." she whispers breathlessly.....

Anaya gets a grip....!

Arjun chuckles darkly.....!

"But your body tells something different......to me darling....! It wants more...Darling you can deny all you want...."

Anaya pushes him and this time he let her go......Arjun saw her tear-filled eyes and clench his jaw...

"What you took me for Mr. Rajvansh, a toy of your hand or a slave with whom you can do anything as you please....you can harm my dignity and self-respect, you can hurt me as you please, but I should not say anything.....you can ignore me when you want but I cannot ignore you.....sorry Mr. Rajvansh... I might not be as rich as you but I do have a heart and unlike you, I have feelings, in your eyes, I might be an opportunist but I am not.....stay away from me, please.....I cannot take this more...."She whimpers and sat on the sofa. She was looking so broken, just what he did yesterday.

Did he lose her in his anger.....she always forgives him without any word....he was so angry with her on himself. Arjun picks the vase from the table and smashes it on the floor...Anaya jump out of fear and scooted in corner of the sofa....she was so afraid of his anger.

Arjun gave angry look to her and yank her from the sofa.....shattered glass pricks on her feet, Anaya screamed due to the pain but Arjun was not in a state of mind to listen to her hurtful whimper.....

"You want me to leave you alone....well guess what...I am also not interested in you...or getting close to you.....but dare you to think that I will let you leave me and thrash my name in front of people....."

Thrash his name.....what the hell he is talking about...

Anaya smile but the pain is evident on her face..."Again blaming me for something I am not responsible for.....don't worry Mr. Rajvansh, Anaya knows her limits and she never crosses them....but you Mr. Rajvansh, you should keep this in mind to be within your limits.....now leave me...I don't want to be anywhere near a negative person like you....." Her face shows how much he had hurt her. Arjun loses his hold on her arm looking at the painful face.

He again succeeded in hurting her brutally.

Pulling her hand back from his clutch she limps toward the bathroom she went inside and close the door. Her whimper out of pain can be heard. Arjun looks down only to find a print of feet covered with blood.

Fuck....she got hurt due to broken glasses on the floor.....he is an asshole.....always hurt her.

Arjun hurriedly went to the bathroom, he tried to knock but listening to her painful cry he fists his palm and punches the wall. blood start oozing out of her knuckle....he left the room in a rage.

It's been 3 days since that incident, both of them avoid each other as much as possible. Arjun always prefers to be in the office or his study, away from her......he knows if he goes near her he won't be able to control himself, now he is behaving like a pure devil, always angry and keep yelling at people. Employees at work try not to encounter him. Many have lost their job as well.

Rana Udhav was happy to find the old Arjun back, maybe there was no need for plan B. Anaya was just infatuated with Arjun. Now he is out of that phase. Rana Udhav was at ease now. He can focus on Elections now.

Anaya has become so quiet nowadays, Aashi and Vedika have asked her but she brushed them off.

Today was a cocktail party, everyone was so excited, Anaya was in Aashi's room as they were getting ready together along with Vedika.

Vedika was observing Anaya, how pale and sad her face looks, she want to ask what is wrong, Arjun was also behaving differently, his anger nowadays scare everyone, it was like she was looking at that old dangerous and dominating Arjun again. she has to talk to him.

"Anaya....you OK you look so pale....." she squeezes Anaya's hand Aashi turns to her and nods, she can see the sadness in her best friend's eyes and want to know what is wrong. Anaya smiled at them and said,

"Yes bhabhi I am fine just tired and a little anxious, I think today something big is going to happen....."

"Of course idiot... it's my pre-wedding cocktail party, something blasting is going to happen...I think Vihan will gift me something special....." Aashi beams with a dreamy look...

Anaya and Vedika laugh at her antics...

Vedika squeeze Anaya's hand and said in a soothing voice," Everything will be fine trust me...I am always there for you...." Anaya hugs her and closes her eyes.

Her heart was thumping....something felt wrong but what.....
