Third POV.

RAJVANSH RESIDENCY

Anaya hadn't slept a wink she was constantly thinking about Arjun's words. She heard that same old Arjun yesterday, was it just a pretense from him.

But why would he do that, and that when he had already shown her his real face. No, she cannot think about him, he is a manipulative man. She should focus on her life....but first thing first...she had to go to her work, already she got the mail from the department head regarding her unannounced absence...thank god her father was one of the chairpersons and will handle the situation in her absence. She is going today for sure.

Anaya hurriedly went inside the walk- in- closest and open her suitcase taking the necessary items she went for the morning routine. She has to ask Vedika or Aunty for another room, if she is going to live here, she needs a new room...far away from Arjun. She got ready and took her bag and walks out of the room,

Ugh..she needs a phone.....

Arjun wakes up to the sound of the door closing...

He looks in the direction of the room door and found it open, he immediately walk inside and found it empty after checking the bathroom, and closest he hurriedly went out...

There she was looking for some time, here and there.

"Looking for something?...maybe a way to go out...." He was right behind her.

Anaya jumped in her place after listening to a husky voice...She immediately turn around and saw a very handsome-looking Arjun. He was looking like he just woke up and might she say he was a sight to watch...

Ugh...Anaya what the hell are you thinking...focus...

Arjun saw her checking him out...and has a smirk on his face...

"Like what you see..."

"What...n..n. ..no, what are you talking about...I was just looking for a way out.." She was hell embarrassed, he saw her checking him out...

Fool.....

"Why....what to run away....." He asks her mockingly...

"Do I have that choice.....if yes...then gladly...."

Next thing she knows that she was pinned by him on the nearest wall...

Arjun came close to her and whispered huskily yet dangerously...

"Say that again and I won't be responsible for the consequences....you know me...baby...I just don't threaten...you are not going anywhere...WIFE..."

He was so close to her that his breath was framing her face. She gave him an annoyed look and says,

"Ohh..now I cannot go out with my own will...what AM I...a prisoner....you manipulated my parents...you made me hate my best friend....now I cannot work also.....so should I ask you before breathing also....haa"

"Wife....who said you cannot breathe....but just not in the same air as that lover boy...I didn't forget your last night's stunt and I'm warning you to dare you to meet him again...hmm.. as for Aashi it's between you to sort it out....." He said ignoring her work-related words.

"I'm going to the hospital.....and I'm not asking...just informing you.....so you won't send a search party after me....and regarding meeting with Abhi......don't worry his life is more important to me than anything else...."

"You are not going out today....." He said in a no more argument tone ignoring her concern for that Mehra guy...

"Why....." She asks getting irritated.

"I said it...that's it...."

"You...."

"Beta...."

They both turn to the source of the voice and found Sampoorna standing there...seeing her Anaya looks at their position...they were so close...for others, it looks like they were making out.....

Ohh..dear god.....

Anaya immediately push Arjun who stumbled back taken off guard by her...

He glared at Anaya who was looking here and there....his mother came in front of them and clear her throat.

"Um....beta you've got your room right....do romance there....don't give people free show" she teases them.

Wait what.....what romance...Arjun gives her a confused look....they were about to protest when she ask them to come for breakfast soon...they need to discuss something.

Arjun went to his room and start getting ready. When he walked toward the living room area he heard some voices... He saw his father telling Anaya to quit her job as she is going with them to India....he saw the defeated look on Anaya's face....he remembered once Vedika told him how passionate Anaya was for her career.....but he cannot defy his father...

Arjun was standing there with a blank look but when a tear fell from Anaya's eye his demonstration changed, he goes near them and stand beside Anaya.

"Arjun...good you came...tell your wife that she had to quit the job....she is our Daughter-in-law now..she can work in India but not here....." His father said in an authoritative tone.

He looks at his mother who was looking at Anaya with pity..she never stood when it came to Arjun...it was always Krish.....then he looked at her brother..who was about to say something to his father....but Arjun stop him by shaking his head...

"Dad is right...Anaya cannot work here...."

His father gave a proud look to him, his uncle was looking at him appreciatively and his mother as usual with a pity look...just like him she never oppose Rana Udhav...except when it comes to Krish.....he turned to his brother who shook his head disappointedly.....when he looks at his wife...she was giving a pleading look to him....like she has hope from him. But his word broke her...

"Right Dad...she cannot work here.....but for some days......till your elections we will be in India and after that...I'm going to take my wife back here and she will resume her work however she wants....."

Rana Udhav was stunned..not only him but everyone....for the first time in their life...Arjun defied his father's word.....Krish...Vedika and Aashi were happy...Sampoorna was in shock...Rana Virat composes himself and tries to control the situation...

"What...are you even listening to yourself Arjun...Bhai sa...said no one will come back....."

"No...uncle...me and my wife will be back because she has worked here and her husband will not leave her in the middle... it's about her choice this time.."

Rana Udhav saw a different Arjun today....one who can think about someone else other than his father....the same father whose words are finality to Arjun... Rana Virat was about to say something when Rana Udhav stops him...

No, if he didn't agree with Arjun now then they will not get things according to them...

Let them once step into India then everything will be according to their wish....even Arjun...

Rana Udhav was in dilemma....did he make a mistake by choosing this girl for Arjun.....not even a day and his loyal son is already making choices by himself...Is she the girl who will bring a difference in Arjun...

Let them land safely in India....there only one can rule...Rana Udhav Singh Rajvansh.

Anaya was stunned...did he just choose her over his family...

She was in her thoughts when Rana Udhav announce their departure will be tonight....everyone went to do the necessary arrangements...Krish was going to apply for his and Anaya's long leave....he was a chairman so it wasn't so hard.....

Arjun was in his study doing back-to-back conferences with his team to transfer necessary business to India...

He was on a call when he heard a knock from his room...

Slowly Anaya walked toward his study and said,

"Thank you....um....because of you I can work.....but why you did it....."

"I'll call you back...." Arjun disconnects the call and looks at his innocent wife...

"Well..so eager are we...let's say....for starter....my brother was going to support you and how can I let him be your hero...when its solely my right.....I'm your hero and villain wife.....and second...I know how it feels why you expect support and found no one near you......so go enjoy because your husband got your back...." He arrogantly dismisses her.

"That's it you helped me just to become a great man in my eyes..." She asked to dumbfound.

"Aaha...what else....you are not someone special.....ohh..yeah...one more reason...London needs one of the best gynecologists...so I did a favor to them also....now go...unlike you I have work...." He dismisses her without delay...

She clenches her fist and walks inside the room...

But one thing was bugging her...

I know how it feels why you expect support and found no one near you...

What was he talking about...Aashi once told her that her Arjun bhai is a loner because he never let anyone in...

Why.....

The way he stood against his father's words for her....what was that.

Arjun saw her walking out and thought....'I will always have your back...Anaya....how can I let my home be alone to fight this. You are my home, Anaya.....I did a mistake by defying Dad....but for you, I can do that also...I will not leave you alone as my people did to me....you are my responsibility now....'

By evening everything was ready...Arjun went to his father and explained himself and surprisingly his father was not at all angry like other times. They went to the airport where Anaya's parents and her brother met them they said goodbye and Veer warn Arjun regarding Anaya, who royally ignored him.

Anaya was looking at the entrance...maybe Abhi came...but Veer informed her that he was busy...

They went inside and did the procedure then went to Rajvansh's private jet...Anaya was dumbfounded....exactly how to reach, are they...

Arjun came near her and forward something,

"Here...your phone....it was with me..."

She took it and remembered her encounter when she went to take this phone back.

Wait what about his girlfriend....he married her....then what about that girl.....well looks like he betrayed his girlfriend as well...

With all these thoughts she begins her new journey.....
