Gabby's POV
Ah, Saturday. Today was a great day. I slept in until 10 am and I feel AMAZING. Today was also the day I was going to the astrology museum with Brian.

I can't believe he wants to spend time with me. I mean a 71 year old rock star astrophysicist with a 19 year old singer? It's not the WEIRDEST thing you've seen but it's certain far fetched.

Yet again, I always thought of Brian as immortal. He's not cracked. A few wrinkles, maybe. But he was very youthful and just as sweet as he was in the 70s and 80s.

"Gabby!!! Where can my new little friend be?"

Oh boy. It was Brian. I was done for. I tried turning off my Queen music but my phone decided to be a dick today.

"Just follow the Queen music Brian. That's where you usually find her!!!!" My mom yelled.

Damnit mom. Why you gotta expose me like the media?

"MOM!!!!"
"I'm sorry honey but it's true!!!"

"I'm coming Brian. I'm just touching up on my makeup"

"Well personally I think you're lovely without it. But alright"

I decided to wear this dress. Ever since I watched La La Land, I've always wanted to wear this perfect green dress for a day out. Obviously I wore flats instead of heels cause my feet need mercy. Let's just hope Brian likes it.

Of course I'm wearing my hair up because, LA is hot.
I went downstairs to the living room. Brian was sitting on the couch.

"Wow...Gabby. You look stunning"

I giggled. I made Brian May speechless. My oh my how the tables have turned. Usually Brian's the one to make me speechless.

"Are you ready dear?" Brian asked.
"I'm ready. Bye mom. Bye dad. I love you!!!"

As we went to the car, Brian opened the door for me.
I blushed. He was still a gentleman, or at least had a gentle heart.

"Thank you Brian" I smiled at him and he smiled in reply.

After he closed the door, he entered the drivers seat and we drove off onto our adventure.

Since we had eaten breakfast already, we would go to a library to read. He knew I loved books so he took me to a Barnes and Noble.

As we read books, I noticed a book about Queen and burst into laughter.

"Gabby Roberts, what is so funny? Oh—"

He saw the book about Queen and just smiled at me. He grabbed it and said, "You may as well read it"

So I read the Queen book while he read a book about astrophysics. I then got bored and decided to read with Brian.

He smiled and noticed my keen interest in his book.
"So you gave up reading the history of my band to read about astrophysics?"

"Ummmmmm..."

Brian just laughed and smiled at me.

"Come here. We can read it together"

And that's exactly what we did. He would point to the constellations and tell me what they mean.

"So I'm a Leo? And my symbol is the lion?"
"Yes. And I'm a cancer. My symbol is the crab"
"Fascinating..."
And we kept reading to our hearts content.

It was now 6:00 and Brian decided to take me out for dinner.

"Brian are you sure you don't want me to pay?"

"I will pay the bill Gabby. You can—"

"Wait. Don't tell me. I will taste the wine?"

"Actually, you're 19. You can't drink until you're 21. And I rather you keep your innocence as much as possible. Well, a little bit of it at least"

I blushed in front of him as we sat in our booth.

"Okay then. I will drink a tall cold glass of water" 

"That's my girl. You know you make an old man's heart filled with joy"

"Brian you're not old. You're young at heart"

By the time we ordered our meal, I was starting to realize maybe being Brian's best friend wasn't such a bad thing. 

*After the meal*
Now that it was night, there wasn't going to be many people. I wonder what on earth Brian would do now. Surely all the museums were closed, or so I thought.

He drove his car to the Planetarium. The one from La La Land.

"I remember your mom showed me the scene from La La Land and that she wanted to take you here. I told her what better first time to spend with my new friend than here?"

I was absolutely stunned. Brian was so sweet. Does anyone deserve him? I know I don't.

As he parked his car, he then opened the door for me and held my hand in his as I got out. We then went to the museum.

I loved walking outside, Brian right behind me. I laughed at how being alone with him felt so liberating for me. Los Angeles looked so huge; the lights in the city looked like the stars decided to climb down from the night sky and come visit Earth.

We then entered inside and I saw a lighting rod. As we saw the lighting rod in the dark, I looked at it in awe.

"What is it?" Brian asked.

"It's just, I've always been afraid of thunderstorms. When the lighting would flash and then the thunder would be louder than a drum. But here, it's beautiful"

"The most beautiful things can come from anywhere Gabby. That's what makes it so beautiful."

We then walked down the hall to where on the top of the ceiling was the most beautiful artwork I've ever seen.

As I looked up, Brian and I bumped into each other. It was at that moment I decided to play on my phone The Planetarium music from La La Land.

I grabbed his hand and said, "Dance with me Brian"

"Gabby I—I don't know how"
"Please? I'll teach you" I replied.

I grabbed his hand.
"Okay. You put your hand on my waist and I grab your hand with mine"
"Alright. What now?"
"Just dance. One two three. One two three. One two three. And you lead the waltz"

Brian and I danced while the pendulum kept swinging. Back and forth just like how we danced.

As he and I danced, I felt something inside me. Like I had met him before, in a different lifetime. But that's impossible isn't it?

Yet again I'm teaching Brian May how to waltz and we're dancing together. 

We danced until we were in a different room. The room with the stars.

One look and I knew we had the same idea. This time Brian led the waltz and we danced surrounded by the stars. It really felt like we were dancing in the sky.

Just when the music ended, he pulled me into a hug and said, "Now that was lovely. Best night I ever spent under the stars"

Of course since it was almost 10:00 pm, we left quickly to go home to Brian's house. My parents weren't going to be home since they're working late and Brian, for some reason, insisted that I wouldn't stay home alone. Instead, I would stay at his place.

"I'm 19 you know. I can look after myself. I'm 19 but my mind is older. I'm an old soul apparently"

"But youthful in appearance?" Brian smirked.

I stayed silent as he drove into the driveway of his home. Damnit May, why you gotta make great comebacks? Well he is very smart so that's no surprise.

Brian let me use a telescope to view the constellations and stars.

"They're so beautiful Brian. I can see why you studied astrophysics"

"Aren't they incredible though?"

"You know sometimes I think stars could be people. I think that bright star is Freddie"

Brian chuckled.  "Of course he is Gabby. He was a star when I met him"

"But still, even then, he always wanted to shine the brightest. I bet that star is Freddie, since even as a star he would want to stand out"

"I bet it is Gabby. Now you better go to bed, my little starlight"

I kissed Brian on the cheek.
"Goodnight Brian"
"Goodnight starlight"

As I went to sleep in the guess room, I looked again through the window to see the stars. Maybe Freddie really was the brightest star in the sky.

"Goodnight Freddie. I miss you so much"

As I went to sleep, I could have sworn I heard a voice say, "Goodnight darling. I miss you too"
