Emily's POV

I was standing in the bakery next to Farkle and Maya. Farkle and I haven't talked about what happened on our date. I'm okay with that for right now. I think we just both need to think for a while. After Mr. Matthews came back to the class, Riley and Maya left. I didn't want to, I like having Matthews as our teacher. But they came back. Katy now works here at the bakery. It was now Topanga's bakery. Mrs. Svorski passed away.

Riley was up giving a speech for her.

"The sun doesn't go around the earth. We're the ones moving. We orbit the sun, because we need it. We need its light and its heat, and if it wasn't there, we'd be dark and alone. I wasn't in Mrs. Svorski's orbit for very long, and I missed out on someone wonderful. My brother knew better. He was her very good friend. We think that we're the center of the universe, but the truth is... We need to circle the ones we love for as long as they're here. We need to hold them close, because no matter how far we travel, they are the ones who hold us in place. It's gravity, and without it, we would just all float away from each other. We are not kings at all. We are just... tiny little specks.

My name is Riley Matthews from Greenwich Village, New York City, the United States of America, the continent of north America, the Western hemisphere, the Earth, the solar system, the universe, the mind of God." She says and continues. "That's from our town, my father's favorite play. "Just for a moment we're all together. "Let's really look at one another." Goodnight Mrs. Svorski." Riley says then goes to her family.

I sigh and look at Maya. I give her a small smile and lay my head on her shoulder. She lays her head on mine. I'm happy to have her. Even though she's not blood. She's my family. She's my sister.

Later that night I was in my room when a knock on my window caught my attention. I walk over to it and open the curtain then the window. I see Farkle sitting on the fire escape. "Lady." He says. I laugh.

"Farkle." I say and sit down next to him after climbing out the window. "What's up?"

"I was walking around. Thought I'd stop by." He tells me.

"Cool." I say. "I know we haven't really talked, I'm sorry." I tell him.

"It's alright. I'll be here whenever you want to." He says. I smile at him.

"Thanks Farkle." I say.

"Always Em." He replies.

We stay out there for little while talking until his dad called him to go home. I love talking to him. I know he's more than a friend, I just don't know what exactly.

So this chapter was short. I am sorry. But there was a cute Farkle/Emily moment.  And a small Emily/Maya moment in the bakery.What do you guys think? Please comment. Thanks for reading. Bye.
