Max's POV 

"Come on slow pokes, we're missing the fight of the century!" I yelled at the others who were following right behind me. 

"No offense Max, but you're acting like a bit of a nut job." Callia muttered, thinking I wouldn't hear her.  I  growled slightly and then decided to drop the situation, figuring that we had more important things to do then argue. 

"Max, are you sure we won't get into Goku's way?" Lucy asked. "He did tell us to stay away from the fight." 

"Don't worry, Goku's got this thing in the bag," I reassured Lucy. "He's a......" Well he wasn't a Super Saiyan 3 and a Super Great Ape sounded stupid. "He's a Super Saiyan 4 for Pete sake, we'll be fine." 

Suddenly, we heard the shouting and punches of the battle going on. I came to a quick halt in mid-air and watched as Goku and Baby exchanged blows. 

"Go get him Goku!" I cheered. "Beat that Tuffle into the ground!" 

Soon though, it seemed Baby was delivering more hits than Goku. 

"Uh Max, why does it look like Goku's losing?" Lucy asked. 

"He's not losing," I tried to say. "He's just.........uh, tiring Baby out by having him use up all his energy before the real fight begins." 'At least I hope.' I thought.

That's when Baby threw a Revenge Death Ball straight at Goku, who took it head on. "Grandpa Goku!" Pan shouted as the attack hit our favorite protagonist.  

"I'm hoping that was part of Goku's plan." Callia said. 

As the dust settled, we all waited in breathless anticipation. That's when we saw Goku standing right where he was, completely unscratched.

"Man, I wish Goku didn't do that." I sighed with relief. 

"Baby, you can never defeat me." Goku shouted. 

"No." Baby responded. 

"My powers have far surpassed yours Tuffle and you know it." Baby then tried throwing energy attacks at Goku, and not one hit him. 

Goku then began attacking Baby head on, making him look like a weakling. However, something wasn't right, I could feel it. "Go Goku go, go Goku go, go Goku go!" I cheered. All I needed was some pompoms and I could pass myself off as a cheerleader. 

As the battle continued, I could see the tower where Baby had come from. There I saw Bulma with my great vision. She was on a computer doing something quickly, meaning trouble for us. Suddenly, these weird machines that looked like satellites pointed towards Baby. 

Goku was preparing to do a Kamehameha at Baby when the machines fired these weird rays at Baby. "What's happening?" Hercule asked with fright. 

"I don't know, but it's bad news I'll tell you that." Callia said. 

Baby began to transform until he was a giant great ape. "Not another monkey." Pan said. 

"We should get out of here guys," Hercule suggested. "It's not safe here." 

With that, the gorilla began going on a rampage, destroying everything in its path. The five of us began leaving as Baby kept going on a rampage. However, the Tuffle followed us. "He's coming." Pan spoke. 

The great ape tried to use fire on us but we got out of the way just in time. "Okay girls, fire on three," I instructed. "One, two, three!" Pan, Lucy, Callia and I all fired an energy blast directly at Baby. When the dust settled, we found that we did nothing to him. 

"What?! We didn't even scratch him?!" Lucy questioned. 

That's when Goku showed up and punched the monkey away. "Wow, that was pretty cool." Callia said. 

"Yeah that was." I replied. 

"Well, you guys have been holding out pretty well." Goku's voice said.

We all turned to see that Goku was right behind us. "Grandpa Goku!" Pan shouted as she went to hug Goku, dropping Hercule in the process. I quickly raced down and grabbed Hercule before he hit the ground. 

"Thanks Max." Hercule said to me. 

"No problem," I told him. "So what now Goku? What're you going to do about Baby?" 

"He's strong, but he doesn't know how to control the power," Goku explained. "His confidence will be his undoing. It would be a good idea to take him to another planet where there aren't any people." 

As Goku went to put his plan into action, we landed on the ground, where people were fleeing from the battle. As Baby continued on a rampage, Lucy, Callia and I went to try and save some people. Before Baby could hurt anyone, we raced into the fire and grabbed a few people. I had an old man and woman in my arms, Lucy had a little boy and a baby in her hands, and Callia had two young women with her. 

"Okay, we've got to tell Goku to take this fight away from the city." I said. 

"Yes, otherwise more people could get killed." Lucy added. 

That's when the people started throwing things at us. "Retched Saiyans!" one woman yelled. 

"Evil beasts!" another yelled. 

There were other words said but I'm not going to repeat them. 

"Hey, we just saved your lives you know!" I yelled. 

"We didn't need saving Saiyan!" a man yelled, throwing a shoe in my face. 

"Oh that's it!" I yelled before Lucy and Callia restrained me. "I can't believe this! Your 'master' almost killed you you know!" 

"Max calm down." Lucy instructed. 

"They're under mind control Max, they don't know what they're saying." Callia added. 

As I still struggled, the little boy that Lucy had saved went up to stand in front of the three of us. He looked at us for a moment and then said; "Thank you." 

A young woman went up to the boy. "Don't talk to those Saiyans Micheal," she told her boy. "They're monsters!" 

"Then why did they save us?" he asked his Mother. 

I was actually surprised. I didn't expect the little boy to actually say that. "Huh, I guess some Tuffles are actually nice." Callia said. 

"I guess so." I said. 

Suddenly, another explosion went off. Goku came from the blast sight with an unconscious Chi-Chi and Videl in hand. 

"Mama, Grandmother!" Pan yelled as she raced to them. Goku placed them on the ground and then growled at Baby before racing up to fight once more. 

"This is bad," Lucy spoke. "If Baby keeps this up, it could mean trouble." 

'Hello, Max can you hear me?' a voice from inside my head asked. 

'Um, who's this?' I asked through thought. 

'This is Supreme Kai,' the voice said. 'I need your help, along with the help of your friends.' 

'Um, how are we suppose to do that?' I thought. 

'Just hold on a moment,' Supreme Kai stopped talking for a moment. I waited for a reply when he used instant transmission to show up on the planet, causing me to fall to the ground with surprise. "That's better," he said. "Now I need your help in getting the sacred water in order to cure the people." 

"Oh, okay." I said as I got up. 

"Uh Max, who's this guy?" Lucy asked. 

"Oh, this is Supreme Kai," I explained. "He watches over the whole galaxy." 

"If that's true then why isn't he the one fighting Baby?" Callia muttered under her breathe. 

Supreme Kai was a little angry with the comment but ignored it and used instant transmission to get us to the Lookout back on Earth.
