So far, the fight for the universe has taken a turn for the worst. First off, Baby has gotten stronger than ever, he took out Gohan, Goten, Mirai and Trunks, and finally, Max has been knocked unconscious! Things are not going well. Will Goku arrive and defeat the evil Baby? (And sorry for the delay in updating! School's almost over so Summer is on the brain. Really sorry! Now, let's continue!)

Lucy's POV

Max was falling from the sky and I quickly rushed over and caught her before she hit the ground. Tears were still fresh in my eyes. The guys were........I couldn't bring myself to think about it. 

That's when Uub shot himself up from the ground and went to fight Baby. I wanted to help but Buu stopped me. "We no fight," Buu said. "We leave." 

Uub led us out of the city and we watched as people started giving their energy to Baby. I was sickened by it. I even saw Videl, Chi-Chi, and Bulla giving their energy to him! 'How can they still follow him when he just killed the guys?!' I thought with rage. Hot tears ran down my cheeks. Mirai was gone, and I couldn't do anything about it. 

When we were far away from the city, Buu looked at us and smiled.

"Buu, what're you planning to do?" Callia asked. 

"Me help Uub," Buu said. "That way, Baby be beaten." 

With that, Buu flew back towards the city. "Buu no!" Hercule yelled. He was going to go after him but Callia and I held him back. Moments later, a huge black sphere made by Baby went down and hit  the ground, causing the ground to tremble and all of us to fall over. 

When the dust settled, we all realized that Buu's energy was gone. Callia and I didn't say anything to Hercule. 

Max's POV 

It played over and over again in my mind. The look of sheer horror on Trunks' face as Baby hit him kept making me scream more and more in the darkness that I was trapped in. "Stop it!" I yelled with tears running down my face. "Make it stop!" 

Why was I being tortured by this endless nightmare? Even if he was under some mind control, Trunks didn't deserve do die like that- even if he did want to kill me. My heart ached for him and my arms wanted so badly to reach for him and hold him tightly. I wanted to see his beautiful blue eyes again and feel his warn touch. Instead, I was in a dark void, living a nightmare over and over again without any rhyme or reason. 

That's when I saw a light. I flew towards it. 

When I blinked my eyes, I found myself inside the space ship that we traveled in during the Grand Tour. "Max." I heard Trunks' voice called. 

I turned around to see Trunks standing right behind me. "Trunks!" I said as I ran towards him. However, I ran right through him, as if I were some ghost. 

"I'm coming Trunks." I heard my voice say. I looked over my shoulder and saw that I was coming down the stairs and heading towards Trunks. 

'Is this some sort-of memory?' I thought. 

"So you're going to teach me how to fly this thing right?" My memory self asked. 

"Yeah," Trunks answered as my memory self sat behind the wheel. "Now we don't want to cause too much trouble so just go at slow speed and-" 

"Forget that," I said with a smirk. "Let's kick this baby into full gear!" My memory self grabbed a gear shift and put the ship into full speed, causing Trunks to be pushed against the wall.

"Max slow down!" Trunks yelled. 

"Okay!" 

The memory me put the ship into a sudden stop and caused Trunks to hit the window. "Are you okay?" the memory me asked. 

"Let's get one thing out of the way here," Trunks said. "I can't ever let you drive. Ever." 

The memory me laughed and I couldn't help but giggle slightly. I haven't laughed in a while actually. Ever since the day we got back to Earth, I just didn't find a need for laughter. Now, looking back on what I did, I can't help but laugh. 

I blinked my eyes a few times and found myself on the ground of the Tuffle Planet. For some reason, I felt more at home. Maybe it was because I was a Saiyan and it was my home planet. It sort-of felt like I was a human on Earth, taking in the fresh smell of the place where I called home. 

I sat up and saw the planet Earth. I missed it. But I had to push that aside and fight. As I looked around, I tried to feel the energies of Lucy and Callia but was cut short when the ground started to shake. It felt like a giant was stomping all over the planet. "What's happening?!" I asked myself. 

I turned around to see that there was a golden Great Ape stomping around on a rampage!
