This chapter is going to be a chapter that's a little different from the GT series. In this chapter, the gang will be on a planet, waiting for the ship to refuel. Here we go.

Max's POV

"You  and Trunks did what?!" Lucy and Callia yelled as they sat in my room. If I had known that they were going to react like that then I wouldn't have told them.

"Guys, Trunks and I only kissed each other, that's all." I explained.

"That's all?!" Lucy yelled.

"Max, you actually kissed this guy!" Callia said.

"Well yeah, so?" I asked.

The girls looked at me as if I were crazy or something. "Max, this is you were talking about." Callia pointed out.

"To be honest, I thought Callia would have kissed a guy before you Max." Lucy admitted.

"Hey!" I said.

Anyway, after the little discussion, the ship landed on a planet to refuel. It was sort-of a marketing planet, like Imecka, but more calm. You could feel it in the atmosphere. Trunks and I were close to each other and every now and then, my tail would slip away from my waist and curl around Trunks' leg.

"Why are Max and Trunks walking so close to each other?" Goku had asked. Pan replied by smacking him on the head. "What was that for Pan?!"

"Grandpa, you're completely clueless." Pan told him.

Callia's POV

It still boggled my mind that Max had actually kissed a guy. This is Max we're talking about! The girl practically breaths anime! Since the day I met her, she's talked about anime. And yet she gets a kiss from a guy! (Well he is an anime guy so I guess i shouldn't be too surprised).

As I walked through the market, a beautiful ruby necklace caught my eye. I stopped and looked at the stand and lifted the necklace up to look at it. It was magnificent. "You like?" the man asked. I nodded. "Well for you, 30 rubies." 

I reached into my pocket but only had 10 rubies inside. I was about to tell him that when Goten walked up and handed the man 30 rubies. I turned to look at Goten and he smiled at me. I smiled back with a blush of crimson crossing my face. 

As I walked around with Goten, I kept looking at him and just wondering why he had been so nice to me. "Um, Goten," I spoke. "Thanks for buying the necklace for me." 

"No problem," Goten responded. "Besides, you look beautiful with it on." 

I blushed even more at that and couldn't help but smile. Goten laughed and I couldn't help but laugh with him. He had this laugh that was just so contagious and you couldn't help but join right in with him. 

For the rest of the day, Goten walked with me and kept making me smile and laugh. He told me stories of when he was a kid and how he had to fight all sorts of bad guys when he was a kid. He even treated me to lunch at a restaurant that could be easily ranked up with Olive Garden. 

As we ate, I looked at Goten and saw the caring side of him that I loved. "Valece and I went to a restaurant," Goten said. "But she didn't know how to eat a breadstick." 

"Really?" I asked, supressing a laugh. How dumb was this girl?

"Yeah, but she seemed so innocent to me." Why had said that? Was he thinking about getting back together with her? "But, you're not like Valece Callia." He placed a hand to my cheek and I instantly felt warm. "You're smart, beautiful, and just so amazing." 

"Thank." Was that all I could say?! "You're pretty amazing too Goten. I've never met a guy like you before." It was true. The guys that went to our school were either really creepy or just plain up annoying jocks. 

Goten smiled. "So Callia, when we get back to Earth, do you want to go get an ice cream with me?" 

He just asked me out on a date! "Sure." I was calm on the outside but on the inside, I was doing back flips and screaming "Yes, yes, yes!" 

Lucy's POV 

Walking around the market, I saw some amazing things. My favorite, though, being Mirai. He walked by my side the whole time and every now and again, I would look over at him from the corner of my eye. I would meet his eyes sometimes but not a whole lot of times. 

As we were walking, I almost tripped to the ground. Just when I was about to be face-first with the ground, Mirai caught me. He slowly picked me up and I got a good look at his passionate eyes. "Are you okay Lucy?" he asked. 

"Yeah," I answered. "I'm so clumsy." 

Mirai smiled. I smiled back. 

We continued to walk around and I just couldn't help but look at him. He was so strong, so sure of himself. He had told me before about how he was a strange, future version of Trunks that had come from a timeline where these things called Androids had destroyed almost everything in their path. He tell me about how he had defeated the Androids and how he was rebuilding his home in the future. 

He had been through a lot but he still was able to smile and laugh with the rest of us. If he hadn't told me he was from a future like that I would have thought that he was just a regular guy. 

Max's POV 

When the day was through, the ship was refueled and we were off on the quest to collect the rest of the dragon balls. Little did we know of the trouble that we were going to be facing when we were on Earth.
