Callia's POV

After getting the dragon ball in our possession, we decided to check in on Goku and Max. As we flew towards the big fight, I couldn't feel Max's energy. "Lucy, can you feel Max?" I asked.

Lucy shook her head. "I don't feel her at all."

"But what does that mean?" Pan asked. "You don't think Max is dead do you?"

"No, Max can't be dead." I blurted. "We'd know if she was dead."

Finally, we saw Goku- at least, I think it was Goku. He was in a super Saiyan form, which I didn't know at the time, and Max was nowhere in sight.

"Goku!" Lucy called out.

Goku turned to look at us. "Grandpa we found the rest of the dragon balls!" Pan explained. "But Trunks, Mirai and Uncle Goten have been taken captive hostage by Dr. Myuu!"

"Goku, where's Max?" I asked.

"She's been taken by Dr. Myuu too," Goku answered. "But you girls have to stay back!"

Suddenly, an explosion went off and sent us back. Rildo came out from the smoke and started heading towards us. He did that metal beam of his on the ground and it went after Goku. "Give me the dragon ball!" Rildo ordered.

Pan kicked him in the face and sent him back a bit. As Goku raced towards us he soon got captured by the metal. "Grandpa!" Pan yelled.

She was about to race after her when she was hit by Rildo's metal beam. "Pan!" Lucy and I said at the same time.

Suddenly, we were stuck in metal too. "I can't move!" Lucy said as she was swallowed by the metal. I was soon swallowed in metal as well.

Max's POV

"What's going here?" I asked myself. "Am I having one of those out-of-body experiences like what happens on TV? Maybe."

That's when the transmission machine went off again. 4 robots showed up and I almost had a heart attack; they had Goku, Pan, Lucy and Callia frozen in metal! "Wonde bar!" Myuu said as he looked at his new "specimen". "Now we can truly begin with the molecular restructuring process."

"Oh no you don't!" I said as I tried to charge Myuu yet again. And again I went right through him. "This is really getting annoying!" That's when the machines started up. "Not good, not good!"

Suddenly, Giru came out from the transporter. "Ah, T-20O6, so good to have you here my friend," Dr. Myuu told Giru. "Soon we will be able to tell what makes a Saiyan so powerful."

"Why you little-" I yelled. "If I ever get out of metal Giru, I'm gonna tear you apart wire by wire!"

That's when Giru did something that I didn't guess he would do; he actually tried to stop the machines from experimenting on us. 'What the heck is he doing?' I thought.

A saw blade was really close to cutting Goku into bits when the machine stopped. "Giru succeed! Giru succeed!" the little robot cheered. "Friends are saved!"

"Stop, what are you doing T-20O6!" Dr. Myuu commanded. "I am your creator! Obey me! How dare you betray me!"

"Betray!" Giru said. "Goku, Pan, Trunks, Max, Mirai, Goten, Lucy, Callia. Friends, all good friends. Dr. Myuu no friend of Giru."

That's when Giru popped out a device from inside of him. He pointed it at Goku and unfroze Goku from his prison. "Wait, you've been working with them all along!" Myuu realized.

"So then Giru's not a traitor." I said.

Giru then started unfreezing everyone else. When he got to me, I was sucked back down to my body and then found myself on the table with stiff bones. "Man that hurts." I complained as I rubbed my throbbing back.

As we were all getting adjusted to moving again, I noticed that Trunks hadn't been unfrozen yet. That's when one of the robots had taken Trunks off of the table and gave him to Dr. Myuu. "Oh no you don't!" Pan said as she flew towards Myuu.

"Stop right there!" Myuu demanded as he placed the frozen Trunks in front of him. "The life of your Saiyan friend is in my hands. If this tablet is broken then your friend will never regain his original form." Now what? We couldn't charge at him otherwise Trunks would die. "Contact General Rildo and tell him to come to this location right away."

"Yes sir." One of Myuu's robots responded.

Giru blocked the bot's path though. While Giru distracted the robot, Pan went and grabbed Trunks. The other robot then grabbed Trunks. I then flew in and got Trunks. "Catch!" I told Callia as I threw Trunks to her.

Soon it was like a game of hot potato. Goten had him, the robot, then Lucy, the robot, Mirai, me again. You see where I'm going with this right? When one of the bots had him though, he threw it to the other bot and he missed. The tablet then hit the floor and broke into pieces, as did my heart.

I could not believe it. Trunks was dead. I collapsed onto the floor and picked up a piece of the tablet. Tears ran down my face. Pan was crying too. "Trunks." I sobbed. He was dead. Trunks was-

"I'm alright Max." Trunks' voice said.

Everyone looked around the room, trying to find out where Trunks' voice was coming from. "Over here." We all turned to look at a staircase and saw Trunks walking down it. He was alive!

We all raced over to him but I lunged at Trunks and sobbed into his shirt. "I, I thought you were dead." I cried.

Trunks placed an arm around me. "I'm sorry for making you worry Max." Trunks apologized.

I still cried into his shirt like a little baby.

"Trunks late." Giru said.

"I know that Giru, but you knew I had important work to do." Trunks said.

"Wait a minute, so all of this was a plan set up by you and Giru?" Goten asked.

Trunks nodded.

"So then, Giru's not a traitor." Lucy stated.

"That's right," Trunks confirmed. That's when Dr. Myuu made a break for the stairs. He was almost at the top when Trunks beated him there. Trunks pushed a button that opened the door and you won't believe what we found inside.
