ji-eun's first date with dino.

IT HAD BEEN A COUPLE OF MONTHS since Ji-Eun and Dino found each other again. Ji-Eun was lying on his bed, scrolling through his phone. He yawned and got up, exiting his room, and was headed for the living room. There was Huening Kai, gaming as always, Soobin and Yeonjun at the dining table, talking about random things, and Beomgyu and Taehyun on the couch with Taehyun showing off his magic tricks. 

Ji-Eun decided to sit next to Beomgyu and Taehyun on the couch, whipping out his phone again. "Come on, you should socialize a little!" Taehyun says, motioning to Ji-Eun. "I have been socializing since-" but before Ji-Eun could continue, his phone rang. It was Dino. "Hello?" Ji-Eun said, running a hand through his hair. "I was wondering if you wanted to get dinner and walk around the city?" Dino asked on the other end. "Yeah! I mean yeah, I would love to." Ji-Eun replied, almost too quickly. His cheeks turned a light shade of pink. Crap. I shouldn't have sounded too desperate. But I mean, to be honest, I am. Ji-Eun thought to himself. "Great. I'll pick you up at 6." And with that, the call ended. 

He sat there for a minute, processing what just happened. Did Dino really just ask me on a date? Then realization hit him. DINO JUST ASKED ME ON A DATE. Ji-Eun got up from the couch. The members turned to face him. "Ji-Eun? What happened?" Yeonjun asked from the table. "Um...nothing. Don't worry about it." he said, playing it cool. "Alright. If you need anything, we're here." Yeonjun said, turning back to face Soobin. Ji-Eun smiled. He headed to his room and put on a quick outfit. He got a message from Dino.

I'm parked out front.

Ji-Eun felt butterflies in his stomach as he replied.

Alright, I'm headed down

JI-Eun excited his room. "I'm leaving." he declared to the members. "Where?" Soobin asked. "Walking around the city. I need some fresh air." Ji-Eun replied. "Alright. Stay safe." Yeonjun said. Ji-Eun nodded.

He walked over to where Dino was parked. He opened the car door, entering the passengers seat. "Hey." Dino said. Ji-Eun replied with a short 'hi.' "So, I was wondering where you wanted to eat?" Dino asked, driving out of the parking lot. "To be honest, I'm not really that hungry...So I was wondering if we could walk around the city instead?"Ji-Eun asked, frankly. "Yeah, of course." Dino replied.

Dino parked his car at the nearest parking garage and they both got down. An awkward silence falls between them. Finally, Dino broke the silence. "You look great tonight, by the way. I mean, like you do always." "Thanks.." Ji-Eun said, a light shade of blush tinting his cheeks. "Oh! I wanna show you a really cool place." Ji-Eun's face suddenly lighting up. Dino smiled. 

Ji-Eun led Dino to the rooftop of his favorite cafe. It was decorated with pillows and blankets of various sizes. Fairy lights decorated each lamp post. "Wow...it's so beautiful." Dino trailed off, walking to the edge and staring at the view below them. Ji-Eun nodded, lips pursed together. "How'd you find this?" Dino asked. "I dunno. I guess I just found it when I came out for fresh air. Now I go here whenever I need air." Ji-Eun said softly, taking a seat on one of the pillows. Dino sat next to him. Dino stared at him, admiring his eyes. 

Ji-Eun fought back a smile. He wanted to tell Dino what he felt so badly. Suddenly, Dino grabbed Ji-Eun's chin gently and turned to face him. Dino kissed him tenderly, with Ji-Eun's eyes wide. He moved closer to Dino, placing his hand on the back of his neck. 

They broke off, catching their breath. Dino smiled. "You idiot..." Ji-Eun said, embarrassed. "So...will you be my boyfriend?" Dino asked. "Of course dummy. I wouldn't have kissed you back if I didn't want to." Ji-Eun said while smiling. Ji-Eun snuggled up to Dino's chest. Dino pressed a kiss to his head.
