Your eyes were widened in mixed of feelings as you could feel as if there was a large rock hit your heart. But in the same time, you were curious about another thing.

"Really? Can you speak English?" you asked. You were quite surprised that a student like Jotaro would study in the U.S.A. and would speak English. English. One of the hardest subject among the Japanese students.

(A/N: since the scene is set in Tokyo, just pretend that you are Japanese)

"Yes, I can," he answered. You widened your eyes.

"Show me what you've got!" you demanded in enthusiasm. Jotaro pursed his lips as his eyes staring at the ceilings, and the expression on his face looked like a teasing one, not a serious one as he usually had.

"Well, I don't know what I should say ... Demanding me to speak in English makes me confused to find the words, since I'm not really good finding communicative words...." he responded in English with a decent accent even though he still had his Japanese accent in it. You gave him a giggle and stared at him in amusement.

"How did you learn English? Even though I don't really understand the meaning, but I think it's really cool!" you gave him a compliment. Jotaro tipped his cap lower.

"My mother taught me. She was a British-American woman, then she married my father who is Japanese and moved to Japan," he explained. You nodded your head as the negative feeling when you just knew the news grew again. You gritted your teeth, finding another topic to cover the pain in your chest.

"Then you have to take care of many things ... passport, visa, and there are some exams that you should pass so you can be accepted in the university, or if you're lucky, a scholarship. It would be amazing if you got one!" you said with a lightened tone, but you could feel your heart was tore into pieces inside.

Jotaro gave you a slight smile as he answered, "I had. I got a scholarship."

There was a bomb in your chest and in your mind which had exploded when you heard the news. The explode made you tears running down again without you even realized it. You wiped the tears instantly with Jotaro's handkerchief and gave Jotaro a smile.

"That ... that is such a great news! You've got a chance to study in America! Did you choose marine biology as your study?" you stated, trying to keep your tone as cheerful as before.

"Yes," he answered casually.

"Good," you responded as you nodded your head. You smiled as you gazed at your right. "I hope that I can get one."

"You will," he responded as he gave you a small smile. You glanced back at Jotaro with your lips were pursed. You could only stare at him then, with no topics inside of your head that you could speak. So the both of you were just standing face-to-face at each other. You pursed your lips harder and clenched your fists, didn't want to stop the conversation.

"When will you leave?" you asked.

"Tomorrow, at 2 A.M.," he answered. You gave a slight gasp as the pain in your chest were pressing harder. Your tears dripped again, a sign that your mind rejected the fact that this was the last day you would be with him. After today, he would be really busy in the university. And maybe he would find another girl that loves him, and maybe he would fall in love with her and leave you alone....

"I-I see that you're crying," he stated suddenly, made you wiped your tears instantly in embarrassment. But, you noticed Jotaro threw his gaze at his right once he saw those tears, and his eyes were staring on the floor, avoiding some eye contact with you.

"Sorry for that ... I guess that I got some dust in my eyes that made me cry," you lied as you tried to breathe normally. He furrowed his eyebrows, but then his expression went back to normal. "Have you prepared your stuffs?" you asked him.

"No, I haven't," he answered.

"Really?" you responded as you widened your eyes. "Why, I think that you should prepare yourself. You have to prepare many things! You're going to study in the U.S.A, after all...."

Jotaro bit his lips and replied, "I guess you're right. I'm heading back home now to prepare myself."

"N-now?" you asked as you felt something slicing your heart.

Jotaro nodded his head. "Yes, when else?" he replied.

You bit your lips as you clenched your fists in anguish. You guessed as if anguish was the corrected word to describe your feelings. You were so depressed to know that Jotaro would leave his country, his friends, his family, and his acquaintance: you. Remembering after all the things he had done to you in the previous months, ignoring you without a specific reasoning, and once he met you, suddenly he gave the news that he would study in a faraway country.

You closed your eyes tightly as the sparkling tears decorated your cheeks again, couldn't hold the tearing pain inside your chest. You gritted your teeth, wondering whether Jotaro understood how you were feeling or not. There were so many things you want to spit and confess, but you realized that you were in the school hall, in the middle of a large crowd.

You curved a poignant smile on your face as the heavy feeling pressing inside your chest, and you felt that it was going to burst out like a bomb. You really wanted him to stay for a while, but you didn't feel like expressing it.

"But ... I need some fresh air first before I prepare. Do you mind to accompany me, [Name]?" he offered. You could feel something just hit your chest and stomach as you gulped and stared at his eyes, not expecting him to offer such thing.

"Y-yeah ... sure, why not?" you answered. Jotaro nodded his head as he turned his body and walked outside, while you were following him from behind, and then you quickened your steps so you were in the left side of Jotaro. By the time both of you had stepped the school field, you realized that you left Atsuko and Kakyoin in the hall, but then you ignored that thought and focused at the moment you were having with Jotaro.

"So ... where are we going?" you asked, as you felt the spring wind blew through your [hair color] hair.

"Just walking around here I think...." he answered as he stuffed his hand into his pocket.

"You're going to miss Tokyo, aren't you?" you asked.

"I think so," he answered. You curved a grin on your face.

"You never give an obvious answer, Jotaro Kujo," you responded. He just bent his head as he curved a slight grin. A comfortable silence covered the both of you, let the wind of spring whispered its voice between you and Jotaro as it brought some sakura leaves. Without you realizing, Jotaro walked towards a Japanese restaurant. You stopped your steps as you glanced at him in confusion.

"Jotaro, what are you going to do?" you asked.

He took a deep sigh as he turned his back on you. "Eat of course. Are you coming or not?" he asked. You gaped for a few seconds, considering your decision whether you should eat with Jotaro or not. You wanted to, but you didn't bring your wallet, didn't have a slight idea that you would go outside and buy something. You had thought that you only attended Jotaro's graduation, and not more than that.

"I-I don't know...." you answered haltingly.

"I guess that we are supposed to eat now, so I'm demanding you to eat with me," he said as he held your right palm abruptly and pulled you into the restaurant. You could feel that your cheeks were blushed hard as the both of you walked inside, and then chose the table for the both of you.

"We're actually going to eat?" you asked as you suffered some crush pains.

"Yes," Jotaro replied. "What else?"

"N-no, it's just ... I didn't say that I want to eat," you stated. "I don't even bring money in my pocket."

"I'll pay for you."

"I haven't even pay back your money when we had had some breakfast before we went to the...." when you were about to continue the sentence, you remembered that it wasn't Jotaro who paid your breakfast on that day when you had fun in the amusement park, "Oh ... never mind.... But still, I have to payback someday."

(A/N: I've read that in Japanese's culture, whenever we eat with someone who's older than us and that person pays our meal, we have to payback her money one day. I don't know if it's true or not, but if it's not just consider that Reader-chan only wants to pay back Jotaro's kindness ^^)

He nodded his head as he opened the restaurant's menu, while you opened yours. You couldn't focus reading the Kanji letters on the paper due to the pressure beneath your stomach and you felt your heart was palpitating. It wasn't usual for you to have your crush invited you to have lunch together, especially that your crush was the type of a person who was known by his rudeness towards girls who are annoying to him. He also didn't talk much and rarely hangs out with girls, so you were embarrassed and happy to have the chance to enjoy some moments with him.

"Have you choose your lunch?" he asked.

You gathered your thoughts again once he asked that and scanned the menu, "N-no, I haven't...."

Jotaro exhaled a sigh as he responded, "Yare yare daze.... hurry up."

After a few minutes of considering some dishes, you chose to eat udon and hot ocha (green tea) as your beverage, some suitable dishes for you in the chilly spring weather. Jotaro nodded his head as he raised his hand to call a waitress, and after the waitress came, he mentioned your orders and his: yakiniku and a glass of hot ocha, the same as your order. You felt your cheeks were heated when you realized that both of you ordered the same drinks.

After the waitress left, both of you were covered in a rather awkward silence, the same silence that night when both of you were walking home in the middle of the night (A/N: read chapter Two). Facing the same situation you had that night, you were confused to find a good topic to talk about, especially after many incidents had happened between both of you. You bit your lips as you put your focus on the wooden table, and Jotaro was tapping his finger on the table as his face was glancing at his right side, as if we was searching for some topics too.

"How's your mother, Jotaro?" you asked him, once you had Seiko's voice in your mind.

"She's fine," he answered casually.

"Will she go to USA too, Jotaro? Or just stay at home instead?" you asked again, rather concerned of Seiko's feelings, knowing that her son would leave home soon enough for a long time to study, especially after you had found out that Seiko had divorced with Jotaro's father.

"She'll come too. She desperately wants to meet her father again there," he answered.

"Ohh so your grandfather is an American?" you asked. Jotaro nodded his head.

"Yeah, and one of a hell silly old man," he answered coolly as you frowned.

"Hey, it's rude to say like that," you said in a calm tone.

"You'll find out what I mean," he said as a waiter brought tray of two glasses of ocha and two white bowls as he puts them on the middle of the table gently.

"Thank you," you said to the waiter with a smile. The waiter nodded his head as he walked to the restaurant's counter to continue his job. You pulled a bowl of udon closer to you as you said to Jotaro, "Itadakimasu (let's eat)."

Jotaro nodded his head as he pulled his. Suddenly your eyes were widened when you just remembered something.

"Oh yeah! Atsuko and Noriaki, they are still in the school hall," you stated.

"Leave them be. We'll meet them again after we finish," he said as he took some rice with his chopsticks. You swallowed your saliva as you stared at Jotaro, luckily without him realizing. You couldn't even resist looking how he enjoyed his meal in a really close space. But then you managed to control yourself, and then both of you ate your meal without any other topics, but this time, the silence was comfortable.

-

"I-I can't find other ways to say ... thank you for the meal, Jotaro," you said as you and Jotaro walked away from the restaurant. "I really appreciate it."

"You're welcome," he answered as he nodded his head.

"Where are you going now?" you asked.

"Going back home. I'm going to prepare some things for tomorrow," he answered. "What are you going to do now?"

"I guess that I'll go back home too, I have nothing else to do," you answered.

"I see...." he turned his glance away as he stuffed his hands in his pockets, teeth were gritted hard. You furrowed your eyebrows as you walked closer to him and raised your head to see his expression, but he noticed your action and glanced at the opposite direction.

"Is there something wrong ... Jotaro?" you asked anxiously.

"N-nothing...." He didn't say anything after that, and then he continued, "Can I walk you home?"

You widened your eyes in response, and without you realizing you nodded your head. Jotaro walked next to you and then both of you walked through the streets towards your house. You didn't talk much, nor even Jotaro. That was the consequence when two quiet person meet each other. But, you enjoyed this silence as you scanned every detail of the city, and felt comfortable with Jotaro on your side. You hoped that Jotaro felt the same.

-

"We're here," you said as you opened your house's gate and glanced at Jotaro. You turned your body to face him and gave a small smile. "Well, you have to prepare, right?"

"Hm," he mumbled as he nodded his head. You bit your lips hard, trying to accept the fact that moment was the last time you would spend together with Jotaro for years. You blinked your eyes rapidly, tried so hard to hold your tears but instead it made your tears dripped faster.

"I wish you the best, Jotaro, and good luck!" you said as you widened your smile. Jotaro noticed your expression and unexpectedly, he replied your smile. You believed that this time was the real Jotaro, because his smile was different, and he had a different aura than the fake Jotaro you met that day. His smile was a sincere one, gentler than any smile you had ever seen. and if there's someone who sees his smile, will believe that Jotaro had a soft side deep inside of him.

"Thank you, [Name]. And good luck to you too," he said.

"D-do you mind i-if ... you keep ... in contact with me?" you asked as you felt your whole face was heated, since it was a very embarrassing favor to ask.

"No, I don't. I'll call you from my grandfather's house after I arrive," he said. You could feel your heart was palpitating hard as you smiled.

"Great!" you responded.

"Alright, I'm going back now. See you soon, [Name]," he said as he waved slightly and walked away from his position, walking back to his house. You could feel something tearing you apart inside and pushing your tears again, but you curved a genuine smile as you whispered,

"See you again, Jotaro."
