Motivation

Chara giggled.

She'd been hanging out with Papyrus a lot more. He'd always send her little motivational quotes or voice recordings saying she was a great person, even some pictures of pasta that always made her stomach grumble. He was the friend she'd never had, actually. She'd always made sure to keep her distance from Sans though. He didn't really care about her. And that was fine with her.

Ding!

Chara opened her phone, looking at the text message her bone-buddy had sent her.

"NOTHING IS IMPASTABLE! YOU ARE AN AMAZING FRIEND! AND I BELIEVE IN YOU, RED HUMAN!"

He then sent a picture of spaghetti with glitter on it. Gross. But she couldn't help but smile. The tall skeleton had helped her with her anxiety and her stress. Not to mention her confidence. What would she do without him?

She then sent back:

"You tortellini get me."

The pun wasn't good at all. It was cheesy. But it was all she could think of.

"OKAY, YOU HAVE USED YOUR ONE FREE PASS TO A PUN, NOW PLEASE DO NOT SAY ANYMORE."

"Awww I didn't know :( okay, though. Also, you left on caps lock?"

"I KEEP PRESSING IT MULTIPLE TIMES BUT IT KEEPS GETTING STUCK LIKE THIS!"

"Press it once, Papyrus."

"It's still NoT WORKING."

"Never mind.."

"I HAVE TO GO NOW, SANS IS BACK, BUT EXPECT SOME MORE OF THE GREAT PAPYRUS' QUOTES OF THE DAY!"

"See you." She smiled.

(THEIR JUST FRIENDS)

"What are you giggling at?" Frisk said unexpectedly, half her body leaning over the sofa to look at Chara.

"WHAT THE HELL!" She shrieked in fear as she quickly threw her phone at the squint-eyes girl.
