Training

Alex's POV
------------------
Cities are coming up. Our team is playing a qualifier game next week. Since Via's little pep talk helped me, I figured I should ask her to help work out with me.

We both agreed to get up early in the morning, eat a healthy breakfast and start training. I have to eat healthy a lot now, to stay in shape for the team.

I'm sure it'll impress Via too.

Bonus point.

I deccided we would go for a nice morning jog.

I was looking through the fridge, for something that could possibly be used in making a healthy breakfast.

I smirked at the sound of a small, tired grunt behind me.

Via's POV
----------------

I rubbed my eyes, noticing Alex rummaging through the fridge.

"Morning, beautiful"

He must have noticed my presence.

"Good morning...you made breakfast?" I asked, slowly inching closer.

He gave off a light chuckle.

That fridge light looked nice on him...
It was still dark outside, and the lights were off, so the only source of it was from the fridge.

He was wearing a grey hoodie, and some jeans. The light glinted on his face, and weaved into his darkening ginger hair.

I knew the hoodie he was wearing, it was his favourite. I'd worn it once. It was one of those hoodies with a zipper, and those white string things that I loved to pull at. I bet it smelled really good too. When I was wearing it, the scent was great. It had a hint of light cologne, and a bit of...well...it's really hard to describe but, it sure as hell is my new favourite scent.

I was yanked out of my thoughts, when he turned around.

His hoodie was un-zipped, and he wasn't wearing a shirt.

His abs have gotten alot more....solid? He had gotten a bit tanned too, since he spent so much time outside at soccer practice.

I just stared for a while, admiring his great figure.

Alex has grown so much. I remember when I first saw him, he was all pale, and skinny like a twig. His ginger hair was really, really, ginger. Now he's leaning more toward a bronze kind of ginger - brown. He was a bit short too, where as now he is taller.

Tall, tan and handsome.

"I know you're enjoying the view, but I suck at making healthy food so...do you mind maybe, making something?"

Whoops

I nodded sheepishly.

-------

We jogged around the block a bit, as the sun began to rise.

We stopped for a bit, to watch it.

"Keep up, rookie! Time to lift some weights, come on, come on!"

He smiled, running to catch up to me.

"Gah!" I let out a small yelp, trying to out run him.

Somehow we both ended up on the ground, in our yard.

"I win" He smiled, turning to face me.

"Nope! That was a tie!"

"Really? Then I guess we're both winners." He sat up, towering over me.

"What's my prize then?" I dared.

"Our prize" He corrected me.

His hands slid under my back, gently lifting me up to meet his gaze. His thumb making a circular motion on my shoulder, making my face heat up. His lips crashed onto mine, and I could tell he was feeling playfull.

"Pretty good prize, eh?" He managed to say between breaths.

"Yes. Now start your exercises, and if you do good, maybe you'll get another." I smiled, standing up.

"Deal!"

He instantly dropped to the ground, starting his 50 push ups.

"Come on Johnson! Just 20 more, and then you're on to sit ups!"

I yelled, trying to sound like a coach, but not wake the neighbors up.

We trained until about lunch time, where I had to convince Alex not to order vegan pizza.

"It's healthy!"

"You sure?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Yes..maybe..probably!"

"Mmhm."

"Oh come on, this healthy stuff is killing me!"

He made a very dramatic face, like he was falling off the Titanic.

"Oh please, drama queen!" I said, doing a hair flip and dramatically walking inside.

"Don't leave me!"

I won't. I never will.

"Just get up"

"Oh. Right"

He's so stupid sometimes.

Just like me.

"Via?"

Before I knew it, he was right behind me. I could feel his breath on my neck.

"Will you come to watch me, at the qualifier game?"

I answered without hesitation.

"Of course!"

"Good. I thought you had work that day." He smiled, and gave me a hug.

"I do."

When he didn't respond, I knew he didn't want me to miss my work. But he is more important. I'm sure Judy wouldn't mind me taking the day off. I mean, I haven't requested a day off in a while.

"Don't worry, I can skip one day, for you. Before you say anything, it's ok. They'll let me. Because they know you're important to me."

When I saw the smile spread on his face, I couldn't help but smile too. His expression said thank you, love.

That was all I needed.

Aye! Thank yall for reading! No its not over xD I'll try and update soon. Love yall!
