Alex's POV

I woke up, exited. Today I had a meet with Coach Dexter.
He coaches a local soccer team. The team is very well known, and makes it to city finals very often.

"Hey. I'll take care of breakfast." I said, smiling at Via, who was by my side.

I know what you're thinking. No, we didn't do it. But she agreed to snuggle with me at night.

I trudged downstairs and started pouring pancake mix into a bowl.

I gave her a quick peck on the cheek, before heading out to the meeting.

Via's POV

I plopped back on the couch, waiting for Renee to show up.

Ding

The doorbell.

Yass my gossip girl is here!

"Hai gurl!" She yelled, pulling me into a hug.

"So what's
sup? "

Me and her talked for a long time, about everything.

"So...have ya' done the deed yet? "

My eyes widened.

"You know I'm religious."

"I know you like to break rules"

I smirked. She was right,I did break alot of rules back in highschool. I used to be miss perfect in grade school, but I was sick of that act. MWHAH.

"Okay, but I didn't break that rule yet."

"Yet" She repeated.

"How are you and Quinn?" I asked, trying to change the subject.

"It...didn't work out. " She said, getting a lot quieter.

"Sorry..."

She shook her head.

"Don't be.."

We kept talking until Alex came home.

I stood up, walking Renee to the door. I slumped against the doorframe, saying our goodbyes.

"Okay. See you at work!"

"Yeah. I'll let you two be alone."

She shot me a quick wink, and then ran off.

Suure... I know what you're getting at!

But she's my best friend, so she's aloud to say stuff like that.

"Coach Dexter is gonna give me a call tomorrow for the news."

I smiled at him. He's good at soccer, I know it. He's been playing since he was a kid. Even now, he still practices a bit.

"I know you'll make it. If you don't, well they don't know what they're missing. " I said, leaning my head on his chest.

We spent the rest of our day as usual, eating, watching TV and being lazy.

I woke up, in an empty bed. The sheets still wrinkled from where Alex had been laying.

What time is it..?

I glanced over at the clock, and shot up when I realised it was nearly lunch time.

I grogily went downstairs, and heard Alex's quiet voice. He must be on the phone.

That's right! Coach Dexter was going to call! I hope he gets accepted.

"Thanks, bye!"

Hu hung up,and sadly turned toward me.

"I...I. ." He began.

"Did you..?" I couldn't finish.

He looked so sad, like someone kicked him in the gut.

Oh no...

"I got accepted!" He yelled, a wide grin spreading on his face.

"UGH! I'm going to kill you! You were so sad I thought you were rejected!!!"

"Thanks.."

"I'm kidding. But really, good job! This is gonna be great! You can do what you love and maybe some day it will help pay our taxes." I smiled at him.

I know I'm being goofy, but really. I'm happy for him. I know he loves soccer and if he makes cities then he might get paid. I want him to be happy.

Soon I found myself falling in and out of sleep, still on the couch.

"Alex?" I called out, too lazy to turn around and see where he was.

"I'm here."

"And I'm tired" I responded, with a light chuckle.

"Aha...Snuggles?"

"Yes..please.." I said, yawning.

We both headed upstairs, into my room and plopped into my bed.
I was already wearing my pajamas, a tank top and shorts. Alex could easily get into his pajamas, considering he always slept in his boxers.

We both got cozy, and I scooted over so my head was on his chest. His bare chest.

You've known him forever, and he still makes you nervous..hah!

He used one of his hands, and snaked it behind me, starting to play with my hair. I don't know why,but it sort of suthed me. I put my arm around him, and patted his side, as if to say goodnight.

"Love you..."

It was the last thing I heard before dozing off.
