Judy's Café

Alex's POV
------------------
I dropped her off at the cafe, feeling frustrated. It wasn't her fault, I know that. She was just trying to be a good daughter. If she needed time, that's what I'd give her. I just hoped I won't have to wait more than a few years.

Via's POV
---------------
I hopped out of the car, and practically skipped up to the cafe.

"Good morning, Renee." I smiled.

"Sure, good"

I put my apron on, and went to my station. A few customers filed in, and ordered. My feet began to hurt from standing too long.

"Here, take your shoes off and wear these." Renee said, handing me a pair of slippers.

"What? Are you sure?" I asked, eying the cozy looking footwear.

"Yeah. The customers won't see, since that counter is in front of you. Plus my mom is okay with it."

I smiled, slipping them on.

The day went by quickly, and I found myself eating a tray of cookies Judy had made for us.

More customers walked in and I shoved a whole cookie in my mouth, before taking their orders.
Finally the last customer of the day headed in, I didn't even look up at them, I was so tired.

"Name?" I asked, as usual.

"Quinn."

My head shot up, sending a smile to her.

"Here for Renee?" I said, still smiling.

They're such a cute couple!

"You bet."

I called Renee out from the kitchen, and saw the huge smile on her face when she noticed Quinn.
Renee practically ran over to her, and almost made her fall buy hugging her.
They see each other nearly everyday, and still greet eachother like this.

Goals.

Everyone's been really kind to Quinn, since she's moved here. She moved just to be with Renee. Even Alex has been nice to her.

Alex...

As he pulled up, I wanted to spill out and apologies for everything. I don't know why.

"Alex, I'm really sorry." I started, but never continued.

"No, I told you, it's okay. I love you for your personality, and the way you laugh at my puns, your body is just a bonus point from life"

Actually?! This man drives me nuts, why is he so adorable?

"Thank you...again."

Alex's POV
--------------------

"I've got good news." I said, proudly.

She gave me that look of curiosity. I could tell she was happy again.

"I found a good part time job, at a bike shop."

"Bikes?" She asked, knowing I wasn't that into bikes.

"They've got a trick scooter section.." I said, smiling sheepishly.

We got home, and I could almost see the light bulb appear over her head. She rushed upstairs, and I could hear her madly searching for something.

I plopped on the couch, to watch TV.
I was glad I had a job now. She works hard, to afford stuff, and now I can contribute. I'm lazy, but I'm not a jerk. Maybe we could start saving up for something....Yes, I know what to save for.

"I've got it!"

My thoughts were cut short, when I heard Via yell with triumph from upstairs.

"Got what?" I shouted back.

I heard her race down the stairs, and she came to face me. Quickly, I shut the TV off.

"This!" She proudly held up a piece of paper.

I squinted at her, urging her to go on.

"This, my dear Alex, is an application form to join a drama group! All I've gotta do, is fill it out, and drop it into the box by the post office. Then the people who organized it, will empty the box on....WHAT? Tomorrow! I've gotta go fill this out!"

Like a cougar trying to catch a deer, she sped off to her room.

She's so cute when she's on a deadline.

I flicked the TV back on, and continued to watch.

That evening we drove to the post office, to drop the form off.
She told me it was for a drama group, where they would practice acting every Wednesday, and even do some plays. If the plays got sponsored, she might even earn some money. She even told me, sometimes they get cast for movies. It's unlikely but, it sure would be cool.

"Yup that's her, from planet of the cow invasion. Mhm, we're dating."

Ok, over dramatic,but still.

Hope you peeps like it!
Oooo more characters! Who is gonna be in the drama group?
Until next time,
Love yall
