Alex's POV

We had alot of the day left after we unpacked. All four of us decided to have a picnic on the beach.

"C'mon!"

Via yelled, dragging me toward the beach. She was excited about this, I could tell. It must be her first vacation in decades. Although I know she's going to tire me out quickly, I still like her being happy. There's just something in her eyes that lights up, and triggers a giant smile to form on her face.

It was really fun there actually. We splashed around in the water for a bit, mostly seeing who could make the bigger splash.

"Ok ok! I'm really hungry now.."

We all nodded our heads, wading out of the water.

We had a few fancy triangle sandwiches from the hotel. After that, a man in some fancy suit came out, serving us milkshakes.

Man, this is one fancy place.

If I was having fun, imagine how amazed Via must be.

This vacation was going to be flawless.

Renee's POV

I finished my fourth watermelon slice, and went back into the water.

This place was so damn fancy.

The water was the perfect shade of crystal blue, and the sand was golden. It felt really good on my feet, like one of those expert massages. The water wasn't that cold. In fact it was the slightest bit warm. If the water is warm, then dang...it sure is fancy.

The hotel was so radical too. It was huge, and had the best view of the beach. It was one of those posh hotels where basic girls usually stay. But hey, I'm not complaining.

But by far, the best part..is....

The buffet.

Dear sweet jesus. The buffet had all kinds of food. Sandwiches, milkshakes, sushi, chicken, soup, kabobs, everything. I know I'd find myself there, alot. I'm sure Via would join me too. She loves food. Especially chicken.

I took a few pictures, to send to friends and post on instagram.

When I was putting my IPad away, I glanced over to see a tall blonde girl.

"Hi. Sorry to bother you, but do you have any sunscreen? My idiot ass, forgot to pack some."

Dang. .

Her body was pretty nice.

"Yup, let me just get it out of my bag"

I rummaged around, finally finding it.

She looked gratefully at me.

"Thanks. I owe you!"

I nodded and sent her a smile.

"By the way..I'm Renee. On the third last floor"

Her face lit up instantly.

"I've always wanted that name! I'm Kathy. I'm on that floor too!"

She was pretty hot...

And hey! I'm not dating Dani, yet. I know she likes me but uh...

What happens in Cali stays in Cali.

I went back to the beach after getting the suite Kathy was in. Everyone was having a blast.

I jumped in the water, right behind Gracie.

"Blah!"

I giggled, watching her shocked face.

"Got ya!"

We began chasing eachother around, leaving the love birds alone.

Via's POV

"Haha, look at them!"

I laughed, but Alex wasn't paying attention.

"What are you looking at?"

I asked, staring into his eyes.

"Something beautiful."

I rolled my eyes, knowing where this was going.

"More like someone"

I said, flipping my hair.

"How'd you know?"

He put his hand to me face, stroking my lips with his thumb. I playfully bit it.

"Yikes! Careful troopers, this one bites!"

He only pretend it hurt, but it still made me laugh.

"This here, is the wild Alex. I'm unsure if he bites, so please stay a good distance. "

I pretended to be a tour guide.

"Grr! But don't worry. I don't bite, in the day time. The only known place where the wild Alex bites, is a dangerous place called the bed. These attacks usually happen at night."

He wiggled his eyebrows at me, and doing the most weird "rawr" I've ever heard.

"Yeah but the wild Via is much more dangerous. If attacked she will most definitely bury her prey in the basement of a shady building."

He sent me a shocked look, as I began to laugh.

"Woah Woah. I didn't know you liked it that rough."

"Hey!!"

I slapped his arm.

"EW!"

All he did was smirk.
