Riya - The truth is when you and Avni were in relation, Mithali approached her and told about Danish's proposal. Avni denied his proposal.

Neil - Why she didn't told me about this ? ( shocked )

Riya - Cos she didn't wanted to bother you stupid. You were already tensed due to exams and she didn't wanted to increase your tensions.

Neil was numb for a second and was able to connect some dots.

Riya - One day even Danish asked her for a relationship but she denied.

Neil's heartbeats were increasing as the truth was unveiling.

Riya - I still remember that day when  we all were playing. Danish came and held Avni's hand, she jerked his hand and confronted him. After that Danish maintained distance from her.

Neil's lips were quivering, he wasn't knowing how to react. He was suppressed in so much guilt.

Riya - That day Avni decided to tell you about all this mess but you broke up with her and till now we don't know why you broke up with her.

Neil's eyes turned glassy and he wasn't able to say a word. All he was doing was listening.

Riya - Why you broke up with her Neil ?

Now he wasn't able to stop his tears. Tears were paving their way from his eyes and his voice choked as he was feeling suffocated with guilt and regret.

Riya became worried after seeing his condition.

Riya - Neil what happened ? Why are you crying ? ( shocked )

Neil - Riya I....I.... don't deserve her. ( choked voice )

Riya - Neil but...

Neil got up and left from there. Riya ran behind him in order to calm him down but he asked her to leave him alone and she did that.

Few months were passed in guilt, Neil was so much guilty that he wasn't even  knowing how to apologise to Avni. Even Avni have noticed him becoming that silent soul again but wasn't knowing the reason behind his sudden silence. She even asked Anish about the same but he wasn't aware of his inner turmoil. Riya knew that the truth have affected him but why was he this much affected and on top of that what was the reason of their breakup. She didn't told all this to Avni but she was worried for Neil.

Soon pre- boards started and everyone was busy with the preparation. Neil used to face  problems in some topics and badly needed Avni's help.

He wanted to apologise to her and with every passing minute his guilt  was increasing but at the same time he wanted to focus on his exams as well. His life was turned into a complete mess and the only person who can drag him out of this mess was Avni.

He tried to calm himself and diverted his attention towards exams. Everyday he used to reach school early for getting a glimpse of Avni as her calm face always motivate him. After gazing her for good 10 minutes he used to leave  for the examination hall.

The pre-boards came to an end and farewell was organised for class 12th. The dress code for the event was ethnic. Every student of class 12th was very excited expect Neil. He didn't wanted to attend the farewell and he told about this to Anish when they came to school for collecting roll number clips for board examination. Fortunately, Avni listened to their conversation as she was passing from there. She was shocked, the boy who used to enjoy each and every moment of life have transformed into a silent soul who just don't give a dam about these little jovial phases, little did she knew that he is stuck in this emotional mess and only she can help him in this phase.

She told about this to Riya and she understood that he is trying to avoid this party as he is very guilty. She decided to talk to him. Later in the evening she called Neil.

Neil - ( at call ) Hello.

Riya - Hey Neil, how are you ?

Neil - Hi Riya. I am fine, what about you ?

Riya - I am fine. I heard that you are not coming to farewell party.

Neil - Umm !! Yeah, I...I... just want to study.

Riya - Shut up Neil. You are not coming cos you are scared to face Avni. Right ?

Neil - I am very guilty and if I will come there then I won't be able to control my emotions. ( broken voice ) I have lost her.

Riya - Neil, you know what Avni told me about all this.

Neil - What ?

Riya - Yeah !! She told me that you are not coming to farewell. She really want you to come there as she also want to conclude her school life with some sweet memories. Won't you come for her ?

Neil - I will.

Riya - That's like the jovial Neil Khanna.

Neil giggles.

Riya - Okay then see you tomorrow but make sure to have some self control. ( naughty )

Neil - What ? ( confused )

Avni - Avni is all ready to increase the temperature of the party. ( giggles )

Neil - We should appoints bodyguards for her.

Riya chuckles.

Riya - So possessive, not bad.

Neil - I wish I could claim my rights on her but I lost .... ( Riya cuts him off )

Riya - Talk to her once.

She cuts the call leaving Neil in whirlpool of thoughts. 

Next evening, the school auditorium was decorated and class 12th photographs were pasted there for reminiscing of their precious memories. Everyone was looking good and were enjoying with their friends but a pair of eyes were  wandering here and there in order to find the person for whom he was attending the party.

Neil was dressed up in blue kurta and pajama with greyish half jacket. His eyes were fixed at entrance and finally his wait came to an end, he saw her coming there draped in blue saree, her hairs were kept open and her look was completed with silver dangler earrings.

As soon as he saw her in blue saree  he was lost in her beauty. They both had an eyelock and remembered how they both once promised that they will wear blue coloured clothes on their farewell as blue was favourite colour of avneil.

Avni - ( in mind ) He kept his promise. ( her eyes turned glassy )

Neil - ( in mind ) As always she kept her promise. I wish I could tell you how much I am craving for you but I am ashamed of myself. I hate myself for doing this to you. ( his eyes turned glassy ).

Soon the party started and their juniors were performing different activities. All were enjoying the event while avneil were lost in their own thoughts.

The juniors and teachers came forward for announcing different titles that were chosen for the students. Everyone was given titles according to their personality.

At last, Avni was given the title of Ms. ABC school ( assume name of the school on your own ) and Neil was given the title of Mr. ABC school.

They both went on stage and teachers gave them bouquets and a gift. Avni was asked to speak few words on her school life.

Avni - I am emotional right now, don't know what to say. All I can say that we all are like these different flowers ( looking at the bouquet) with different traits, personalities but we are bonded together in a bouquet named friendship. We all may be different from each other but we are incomplete without each other. Our school life is coming to an end and I have experienced each and every emotion in my school life. I have learnt many things and our teachers have been a great support to us. I have learnt one thing that time never remains the same so whatever wish we have we should complete it as soon as possible. 

A tear drop slips from her eyes and she wipes it immediately but Neil who was standing on the stage noticed it. Her last line had an impact on his thinking.

Avni went down the stage and everyone clapped for her. After her Neil was asked to say few words.

Neil - School life. ( smiles ) It was my journey. A journey from immaturity towards maturity. A journey which was full of lessons. A journey which really helped me in learning the value of relationships ( he looked at Avni, who looks back at him ). My school life have made me a better person and I really hope that whatever I have lost in my immaturity I will get it back. ( Avni saw him with teary eyes ). Thanks to all my friends and teachers for supporting me in every phase of my life.

He went down and students clapped for him. After sometime meal was served and after that students were dancing and were celebrating their togetherness.

Neil and Avni were still in dilemma, both wanted to talk with each other but weren't knowing how to start. Riya and their other friends noticed this and decided to leave them alone for sometime. Riya took Avni with her and Anish took Neil, they both took them to the swimming pool area.

Riya - ( to avneil ) It's the last chance for you guys. Don't loose it.

Anish - We know very well you guys feel for each other. Don't ignore your feelings.

Saying this they both left from there. Avni looked at their favourite corner while Neil followed her gaze and saw her gazing the corner with glassy eyes. It was the same corner where he kissed her for the first time on valentine's day.

After remembering that memory, hot tears passed from Avni's eyes and she turned to leave from there as she can't breakdown but stopped when she felt a hand wrapped on her wrist.

She turned back and found Neil holding her hand and standing there with tears in his eyes.

Neil - Won't you forgive your stupid Neil ? ( broken voice )
